I like this theme very much and would like to purchase this. However, I really wanna incorporate a buddypress into my blog. Will it be a problem with the theme?

Hi YJ,

Since PressTwo uses all standard WordPress code, there should be no issues with BuddyPress integration, there’s also a BuddyPress plugin which will automatically convert any theme to be BuddyPress compatible.

Also – the ajax commenting seems not working. it refreshes the page after commenting instead of automatically insert the comment…

Hi Yanjieli,

May I ask which browser you are using? In IE7 , the comments are forced to refresh the page, as ajax does not work as smoothly as on other browsers.

Also some quick questions – for the lower part of home page (which displays 4 columns and 2 columns of posts), are they updated with latest blog entries from each category? or entries from latest updates?

can they be manipulated into more columns? say 5.

I’m using IE7 so the ajax thing kinda doesn’t work, but no worries on this.

Hi YJ,

2 columns and 4 columns are the only options, and they work off a specific category only. So if you set one to use the “featured” category, for example, only posts from that category will show in the widget.

Yep that is definitely possible. You can choose between three different home page layouts including a Blog Layout.

When using the widget for the homepage, I created posts with image, used the Obox image upload in the post interface and setup the widget. But the image won’t appear.

I believe this is the code generated HTML for the slider. See the Array

Hi Kidino,

You’ll just need to set the Thumbnail option under Theme Options > General to Obox Main Image, that should do the trick.

Nevermind. OK, got it figured out. Just in case for others. I went to Theme Option > General > Thumbnail Settings … and then chose Obox Main Image. That fixed it. Thanks.

Hi Dio,

Yes the theme has a few built in advert areas as well as a custom advertising options panel. Basically, you won’t need to install any extra plugins to get ads onto the site.

Thank you for replying. that is great it has built in advert options. I am new to wordpress so i just have one more question.

On the home page of this template it has 4 med size thumbnails to click on and two larger thumbnails below that. So when you add new content will it add new thumbnais in addition to these existing ones, and the home page will just grow longer, or will the new posts be filed away within the preset homepage layout.

Hope i am making sense.

That 4column widget can be set to display the latest 4, 8 or 12 posts. It won’t grow in the same way a blog page does but instead display the latest items only.

Changing the slider from a left/right slide to a fade is not very straight forward, it would require quite some custom work to the jquery file, however one of our Approved Modifiers can get the work done:
