I am so ready to buy this theme, I did notice in IE7 that the news page has a slight issue. The “Search In Archives” box is open and over lapping the “recent news/magic flashlights video” post. It looks great in firefox , the box appears closed the wya it’s supposed to be , but in IE 7 it is open and overlapping. Is there a fix for this? The client who needs this will surely check all browsers and notice this

Thank you for the information. We saw the issue in IE7 that you described. We will look on this, and we should have some fix for this messy browser soon. In IE8 the problem doesn’t exist.

At this moment the sliders were not designed for videos. We have plans for adding a separate video slider in feature, but in the current version it is not possible.

Thank you for the purchase. We have plans for adding a separate video slider to this theme, so this should be possible in some future version. At this moment we don’t have any content sample for you. We don’t want to distribute the photos in this way, because we got an agreement from the photographers to use the photos only on live preview. However I will look what we can do about this.
If you would like to have some instructions how to build any section like in our live preview we can help, and then we will add this also to FAQ for this item. You will find a big help on this also in PDF docs.
I just want to let you know you did a great job on this theme. I will most likely be buying several licenses for this one. Can’t wait for the release of I+S 2.0

I replied a few minutes ago on videos to subfight comment, at this moment it is not possible. In regards to your second question, for now you can use this shortcode: Video Player Lightbox to build a server video gallery from text links, but I think you want to create an image gallery, where each image links to videos from server and uses lighbox for this.

Thank you for purchase. The big part of the zip file size are the skins. If you have decided for one of these 150 skins and don’t want to use any other, you can delete all the other skins from skins folder (when you install an unpacked theme, or after installation…). The light version is planned as a separate theme with some various skins too.

The manual is very impressive and full. Best I’ve seen! Good job. Setting up the widgets is unlike anything I’ve done so far, but went off with no problems.
Two questions about the Twitter widget: 1) I would prefer the option of showing the Twitter’s avatar or not. How can you turn this off in the code? 2) The time of the Tweets is off. I am in Japan which is GMT +9. How can I ensure the tweets are showing the time when I tweet them in Japan?

Thank you for comment. There is no option to change the time, but we will try to add an option for this in some future update to this theme. This should be possible.
In regards to your first question about twitter widget avatar, you can change this in the code. Here is an instruction for this:
- Go to Plugins > Editor section and select Twitter (Prestige) plugin from top drop down list
- Find this code – you can use Ctrl+F in the browser to find it. This line is placed inside div with class heading:
<img class="photo" src="'.$userdata->profile_image_url.'" alt="'.$userdata->name.'" />- Delete the code mentioned above or add
style="display:none;"for this img- Open addpages.css file (css folder) and find
.dc-widget-wrapper .widget-twitter .headingclass (if you are using some editor: go to line 4293). Then change the padding property values topadding: 5px 0px 20px 0px;- and thats it.
Thanks for the reply. I was able to delete the Twitter avatar. This may be useful for others. The code line was 4932, though, rather than 4293. Thanks again and I look forward to being able to get the times either fixed OR simply eliminated. Is that possible now? Can I delete code written to show the posting time and just leave the posting date OR take it all out? That option would work for me, too.

P.S. I have never seen a Twitter widget in a theme (I am sure there are ones that you can download separately) that shows the number of followers as yours does. I also think the Twitter icon you have is very elegant.
In regards to deleting the posting time from Twitter widget, you can do this by editing the same file in Plugins > Editor section.
- select Twitter (Prestige) plugin in Plugins > Editor
- find this line of code:
$out .= '<span class="time">'.$tweets[$i]->_date.'</span>';- delete this line, click on Update, and the time for each tweet will be not displayed

I am doing great so far with the theme however, I am stuck on how to get the latest news content on the homepage as in your example. Also, is there a way to have news pages with a left sidebar and blog pages with sidebar on the right?

You can’t change sidebar position on fixed pages, like News and Blog template. You can switch sidebar position only from backend, but this will switch sidebar globally for all pages with except to Sidebar Left/Right page templates. But we can do for you small modifaction in blog or news template.

I just purchased this theme and cannot get the “fade effect” to work on the progress slider. Regardless of which option is chosen it reverts to the “move effect.”

Thank you for the purchase. To change the fade/move effects you must choose the right mode in Progress Slider options (at the top of this section) and then click on Save button (right next to Add New Slide button). After this everything should be OK, did you do this like I described it? I tested this now again and it works fine for me.

I still cannot get it to work. I have the “Use fade effect for slides transition” radio button selected and have saved several times. Although there is no change that takes place (it does say the changes were saved), the only effect the progress slider will present is the “move effect.”
Are there any other ways to troubleshoot this?
I am having another issue that I noticed now as well. I am not able to change the skin of the theme to any of the “wide” skins.
When I choose the wider version it still displays the narrow skin. I have tried several different skins with no luck. I also verified that all the content for the theme was uploaded on my server, and it is.
Please help with these two issues when you have a moment.

I purchased this theme earlier this afternoon installed it via FTP onto my server where i have other themes already loaded, but when I tried to active this theme I received the following error:
Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/blackcol/public_html/torontoismine.com/wp-content/themes/PrestigeDark/cms/php/cp_controlpanel.php on line 38
I saw in another post to create a temp file in the wp-content folder, so I did that “PrestigeDark_temp”, but still no luck.
I have enabled the 777 attributes for the entire folder, and went in and applied the same for each individual file in this folder and ensure the the above php file also has 777 rights.
What else could be causing this issue?

Hello, thank you for the purchase. To fix this you must change the rights for wp-content folder. You must give this folder higher right and this should help.

I have just purchased this theme last night and everything is really easy to set up and I have almost everything set up up like the sample already and looks so nice.
It is a great theme and amazing job. I will grab the white version when it comes out as well. I have bought many themes and this one is definitely on another level and is awesome and has the most versatility…
I have everything pretty much donme and it has been easy..
I just had 3 quick questions I am trying to figure out.
1) How do i set the pagination in areas..Take the blog for instance.. so it will only show say 8 entries per page and it will automatically build buttons for all the pages?
2) Also is there a way to automatically create a “more” button for text based on the character length in a post. Take the blog again for instance I only want to show 100 characters when on the main blog page and then show the rest of the text on the blog detail page after the user clicks….
3) I followed all the direction for the nextgen gallery and I cant seem to get my pagination like your sample online..

1) If you want to decide how many posts will be displayed on blog page, go to Settings > Reading section and set the right value for Blog pages show at most option. If you want to divide some page content into for example two pages you must divide the content with
<!--nextpage-->tag. For example:2) There is no option for define the characters count, like for example 100 characters for post, but you can use
<!--more-->tag – just select a place in the text where you want the text to end on the main blog page and hit on more button in HTML editor top options bar. In this place where the more tag is the text will end, and a Read More link will be displayed. If you don’t want to use more tag you can use post description field – a textarea in Custom Post Settings titled as Type here description for post. When you place there some text, this text will be displayed on main blog page.This should help.
