Primero - Video WordPress Theme

Hi there. Before making a purchase, I just would like to know how the theme handles videos added via the wordpress phone app (android or even iphone)

The videos render the same on each platform. This is because the videos are provided via Vimeo, Youtube, etc. and they all support mobile phones.

Yes, this theme can work as a tech blog. You can upload your own logo and set the homepage as a blog. Everything works in IE7+ including IE9. We support all versions of WordPress and will support future versions.

Hello. I have a question. I upload some videos but they do not appear in the tab “latest videos” on the homepage. Olso if i make an extra tab the video’s do not appear in that tab on the home page. can you help me out?

One pre-purchase question – In the comments section, can the administrator of the site moderate the comments? I don’t want to allow spam comments to be posted to the post discussions…

Yeah, the administrator can easily moderate the site comments. You also have tools to fight against spam like plugins and the ability to manually approve comments if you want.

1. Can I insert live streaming feed in the place of slide show? 2. Can I insert some banners and texts between the video portfolio and slide show in the home page?

1) It depends on the live streaming feed. If it’s just simple embed code, then us you can easily drop that in place of the slide-show.
2) No, there isn’t a spot for content between the homepage and content area. You could add this in but it would require minor customizing.

You just need to unzip the first downloaded file. Then you will find the documentation and wordpress.zip file to upload. Also, the support forum is available for posting questions. If your question hasn’t been asked, please ask it.

Hi, I just recently purchased Primero, I’ve embedded some video in the portfolio and the Youtube clip is fine but the Vimeo one doesn’t work on Android, it seems ok on iPhone however. Is this fixable? Primero is HTML5 isn’t it?

That would be a Vimeo question and not theme related. It’s most likely just an issue with your specific device loading that video.

Hi, I like the simplicity of the design, yet the great functionality of the video integration especially the vertical slider on the home page. but unlike a lot of Wordpress themes, you don’t have much widgets offered. Is is easy to integrate widgets into this theme?

Yeah, you can easily integrate many third party plugins for additional widget functionality. Most of the custom widgets should come as plugins anyways. That way you can use them in other themes if you ever switch.

Hi there, I purchased this theme yesterday thank you. However, a number of the videos in the support documentation don’t play- they just have a black screen.

The ones that do play are great, but I’m stuck without a number of videos playing. Can you please check them and get back to me asap as I want to get this site built over the weekend.

I just double-checked all the videos and they are working. Sometimes Screenr goes down for a few minutes but it won’t be for longer than 20 minutes. Check the videos again as they are up and running.

Hi, I have one thing need to implement on my website. For example, there are 10 videos on one portfolio. I want all people can see there are 10 videos and they see their thumbnails with their name. However, when somenoe clicks for watching one of them, I want that just registered users can watch the videos and they go login/register page. Is that possible to make it with any plugin?

Actually I found out one plugin with “Page Restrict” name. but it has just restriction for “pages” and “posts”. Portfolio is your own feature so I can’t make them restricted.

Please help me about it.
