Procyon - Corporate Business Wordpress Theme 6

we are having 3 major issues with this theme that we would like your help with ASAP – client wants to see it tomorrow!!

1. We created the 4 sections under the slider – 1) hire smarter, 2) sell greater, 3) manage better and 4) lead stronger. (Each one of these is a page.) We added the excepts, icons, and links to each of the 4 sections in the Procyon home page settings. The excerpts are fine, the icons are fine, but they all link to the 1) hire smarter page.

2. All the blogs are appearing on the bottom of the home page, where the testimonies is supposed to be. we created a category called “Testimonies” and selected it in the Prycyon – pages and categories – testimonies category drop-down menu but it is not working. It is still showing all our blog posts on the home page and looks a mess.

3. the Home page slider is a mess. I have tried reducing picture size and using transparent backgrounds, and I have tried all the options on the slider. Cannot get it to look right.

Justin wondering about the moving background…is it possible to add our own pattern or images?

Great template/design. I’m having a nice time putting it to use for my business but have a few questions that I was hoping you could help me with:

1. The contact form is not sending the data to the email address set for the account. How do I correct this? 2. In the footer there’s a mailing list option. I’d love to use this. How to I set this forum to send me the data submitted? 3. In Firefox and IE, the site comes up but is not aligned properly. What can be done to correct that?

Hi, System adding backslashes on single quotes typed in MySql database. Like we\’ve. I have made all in utf-8 but it didn’t resolve the problem. I need a solution. Thanks

I’m sorry if this seems like a silly question but how do I get my images to hang off the slide show like they do in your demo?

Also, can I hdie the icons next to the text describing my featured image at the bottom od the slideshow?

We purchased this theme for a client site but unfortunately, my previous questions were not answered in a timely manner (and still have not been answered) so we had to give him a different theme to meet our delivery timeline. Since we already paid for this theme, we decided to use it on our own web site. It is looking really nice but we are still having issues with the testimonial blog posts on the home page (under the 4 sections). The site is live here: http://SweetSpotTraining.com

The rotating testimonials section on the home page is showing ALL my blog posts from every category. I set the theme options to the “Tesimony” category but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Is there no way to make it hang off the slider without being one of those two presets though? I do not need the ipad, and the other squishes my image.

Also, how do I make the background an image that is not moving? I can’t seem to find the code.

And where there are no ‘more’ tags inserted in my posts, the entire blog post is showing on the home page. It looks a mess! I have over 100 article posts. The code to disable the background did not work. I would like to be able to make a full sized image hang off the top of the slideshow box. Would this be possible?

Hey—we just purchased this theme (wordpress version). On the hompage, we get a bunch of blog entries and stuff that is not there on the demo. I.e. between the Slideshow and Welcome section we get this:

This is the issue—index.php:

For some reason it is retrieving a bunch of posts instead of the facebook like. I.e. if remove this code, page looks OK without posts but of course, not the facebook like.

So I fixed my issue. I saw some other people with the same problem. If you go to Appearance, Widgets, and look in the top right corner for “Top Content”, there you can remove the widgets you don’t want and you can add the twitter feed or whatever. Basically, just drag and drop—seems to work OK.

Actually, if you remove ALL widgets from “Top Content”, the site will function as the demo . Just sharing.

Hi, I’ve been desperately trying to get a critical issue fixed from Indonez but I haven’t received proper support so far and because the issue is severe and time is running, I will now have to switch my customer to a new theme. The issue is on the display of submenus which is very erratic. I’m very disappointed since I have wasted hours on this theme for nothing. I recommend to stay away from Procyon which does not work properly.

First of all Procyon is a beautiful template, however the maps on the contact form is not working. I used my Maps API but it doesn’t work.

Then I just want change the “Short Description for right column content” text box to an small contact form. Can you let know how to do that?
