Hello I want to convert the template “Profiler” for a Snwoboardcrosser. Is there support?

I have a few questions about editing the Profiler/v-card template I purchased

A – How do I change the text & icon colors in the side bar module? I’ve only been able to change the background color?

B – How do I change the icons that are with the menu links? I added a page and was able to add an icon but it displayed beside the text instead of above.

Hi,

A – You can go to Template options and add this code to “Custom css code” in “Advanced settings”.

div #tz_mainmenu #plazart-mainnav ul.level0 > li > a{ color:yourcolor; }

and this is code change color when mouse hover:

div #tz_mainmenu #plazart-mainnav ul.level0 > li > a:hover{ color:yourcolor; }

B – Change icon menu item.

You go to Template options and choose “Navigation” tab. and click to menu item you will see “icon” You paste your class off icon.

Example: icon-folder-open

So you have to change “fa” to “icon”.

I am sorry for late reply. You can translate Contact form and “Read more” in languages/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_tz_profiler.ini

Having some issues with the quickstart package.

I unziped quickstart-j3x-v14.zip, and upon install i get these error messages on the install screen :

Thanks for your reply. I’ve sorted it out by setting the meta information in the Article Manager options. :) I have another problem on setting the receiver’s email address. How can I reset the receiver’s address of the form in the Contact page? It seems to me the receiver in default is info@profiler.com because when I submit the contact form I received rejection emails saying “Unable to forward this email to info@profiler.com. connect to profiler.com[159.182.16.228]: Connection timed out (port 25)” . Thank you again for your help

info@profiler.com is demo email and it is not true.

You can change receiver email address in Components/Contacts/Contacts and you choose edit info your contact.

In email field you input your email.

Lovely template, but we have several problems (running J3.3.6). I have seen a number of posts in your forum about all these issues, but none of them seem to have resolutions that are posted in the forum itself. They all seem to handled privately, so I don’t know if they were resolved or not, or how we can resolve them ourselves :(

Mod_Tz_Services is broken. Can’t save changes to this to change the details on the leftbar.

Also, can’t get image slider for background to work. Saving images to ‘slideshow’ category does not work.

Plus, we cannot seem to get rid of the twitter meta data in the template. Someone posted about this here in the comments about a month ago, but the solution does not get rid of the twitter handles (as we are developing a site for a client that doesn’t have Twitter). How do we get rid of the twitter meta?

We’d be very grateful for your help as we are on a deadline and didn’t expect this to happen. We always account for a bit of template fiddling with anything we buy off Envato, but these problems are stopping us for properly customising the template for our client.

Thank you Sonny. We actually decided with the client not to bother using the form, as it we were losing time on the project. The client doesn’t need the form at the moment. In the future, if they decide to implement one, I will let you know and we can troubleshoot the issue (or by then you might release an updated/improved version of your template with the fixes included). I’ll keep you updated if the situation changes.
