Default Sidebar Issue:
Hello there, the default sidebar replacement is not workin on the site. We are going live tonight is there anything I can do? I’ve created the custom sidebar, and replaced both “Sidebar” and “Default Sidebar” on the page and tried different templates and sidebar page layouts. Please help. I’ll probably make this a full page for now.

I am also noticing that the blog page (this same page I’m having the sidebar issue with) is not responsive and that there is a fixed width in the bootstrap-responsive.css

I don’t think that any of the custom styling is conflicting. also since we are going live you may want to delete this part of the url .s163670.gridserver.com as it will be different when the dns changes.

Hi, I have followed the instructions in order to insert the layerslider however I keep getting this message: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/www/pccompression.thecreativepatch.com/wp-content/themes/progress/includes/homepage-slider.php on line 33 instead of the slider. I checked line 33 and it seems fine: foreach ($slides as $slide) {?> I’m not really sure what this is. Have you ran into this at all and can you help?

Sounds good, here’s another question. Is it possible to switch out the social icons, like say “Youtube” instead of “Vimeo”... and on that note, any way to add a custom icon?
I can advise to replace icons in /images/socialicons.png only. Also edit title tags in header.php

Hi francesala. You can use Post Slider or Teaser Grid from Visual Composer for that.
How to choose a single article? Maybe using “Post/page IDs”? Where can i find them?

I can’t update my theme?
I’m trying to access the new testimonial widget but I can’t update the theme to allow the functionality. Can you help?

Hi Nick. You can replace files from new theme version or install as new theme.
I installed as a new theme, it and overwrote all my homepage settings and removed logo etc.
Do you mind letting me know the exact files to upload in order to get the testimonial widget showing? I tried adding three testimonials.php files but it didn’t appear; and I couldn’t find it in functions.php.
A lot of files changed (php, css, jscripts). You can backup your options from ThemeOptions -> Backup settings and after theme update import settings. Send me your WP access and I’ll help you with update
I’ve tried but the backup settings isn’t working entirely smoothly (certain things go missing).
Would you be able to let me know all of the testimonial files I need to install? I would find that much easier.

I am having an issue with the theme options. Yesterday I logged on and they where greyed out. I can’t access them. I can’t find a solution. Is this a theme or a wordpress issue? If it’s the latter, then how do I fix this? Would a fresh reinstall of the theme and/or wordpress will cause loss of a data? Thanks.

okay thanks. As of right now it started to randomly work again. While I am here I have another question. Your top drop down menu that is above the slider and main navigation, how do you put links and the search bar there? I don’t see an option available for that. Thanks in advanced!
Hello. You can enable/disable search bar in Theme Options -> General Settings. Top menu you can setup in Menu section

Hi i just purchased the theme … and i find it awesome !! very easy to use and customize.
I just have three requests ( i am still working on localhost )
1- i need something like the homepage recent portfolio items section to be applied on pages or items i choose … not only the latest portfolio items, if you can provide me with a short code for this i would be grateful .
2- for the clients section on the home page , i have more than 6 clients to show … i need this also to slide with arrows like the recent portfolio items and the recent blog items .
3- One last thing .. in the breadcrumb when i open a portfolio item it is shown like this : You are here:Home » Portfolio» my post title i want to change the word “Portfolio” in the breadcrumb to whatever i want

2. Homepage client section is not carousel. Only Image list.
3. Open /funstion/posttypes/portfolio.php and find line:
'single' => __('Portfolio', 'tdl_framework' ),just change Portfolio.
