Hello,

I have purchased this theme and read what documentation I could find. However the slider does not seem to be working properly. Nothing in the caption text fields ever shows up. Even on the example sliders, they do not appear as they do on the preview site. Only the background and image fields show up. I would really appreciate if you can help me figure out what is going wrong!

I’ve just noticed two majors bugs with Internet Explorer 8 :

1 – Images do not appear on the homepage’s slider. We only see a dark grey background : http://proma.envato.tabvn.com/

2 – “Title + description + zoom icon” appear over the images on the porfolio page : http://proma.envato.tabvn.com/portfolio

Could you please send us a fix ASAP ? Please advise exactly what we should update since our site is live now.

Sorry to insist, but could you please give me a timeframe by when these 2 bugs will be fixed on IE8 ?

I need to know if I should start resolving these issues myself. As you know, our site is live, and it does not look professional with your theme that is supposed to be compatible with IE8.

you will need download this css file

and then follow the URL http://your-site.com/admin/config/development/performance and hit “clear all caches”

The new CSS file fix the issue on the portfolio page. However the main slider is still not working on IE8.

Could you please test on your own demo site ? You’ll see that it fixes the portfolio page on http://proma.envato.tabvn.com/portfolio but not the main slider from the homepage http://proma.envato.tabvn.com/

Of course, I’ve tested with the last CSS file and the slider is still not working.

Can you even test on your own online demo with IE8 : http://proma.envato.tabvn.com/ ! The slider is grey, that’s it. There’s no image sliding at all.

How long do we need to wait for a fix ?

I’m getting tired!!!

6 days ago send you an email with a problem with the HOME SLIDER, IT DOES NOT WORK!!!.

I did it by email because i didn’t want to influence future buyers but I’m tired.

You answer my first email in about two seconds, telling me it works, well, you looked or what! IT DOES NOT WORK!!!. then, no news until the next day and because i send you two emails more, all this it’s 5 days ago!!!!. What the hell it’s wrong with home slider? FIX IT!!

Next time, make an easy slider. The theme it’s pretty good, but the slider…..fail

and save override to /sites/all/themes/proma/rs-plugin/css/settings.css

and then follow the URL http://your-site.com/admin/config/development/performance hit clear all caches and see your changes.

Thank you for the recommendation about cache block. Disabling “cache block” in the performance settings makes the layer slider work again. I guess that needs to be disabled. As long as the layer slider works, I’m happy.
