Thank you!

I love this another template! Good luck with the sales :)

Thank you!

I just now viewed this Prometheus theme with my iPhone. Not behaving responsive. It only shrinks down. That isn’t responsive. But I do see in the browser when I make the window narrow that the page collapses down as a responsive theme should. Can you help me understand this? Otherwise I like your theme very much and I am shopping for a responsive business theme. Thanks.

Hello!

It’s because of the ThemeForest preview top frame, close it or follow my normal link: http://alexgurghis.com/themeforest/prometheus/

So sorry I forgot about the frame. AWESOME template!

Thank you!

What is the difference between the Flex Slider and the wmuSlider? I thought ‘WMU’ would be a plugin for WordPress. This is an HTML template and not a WP theme, yes? Both sliders seem to look alike. I also see in the list you mention Fancy box but not the wmuSlider. Thanks.

Themes-Dojo

The are almost no difference. Yes, this is html, but I’m working on WP version. You can see fancybox in action on flickr widget.

Gotcha, thanks. I’m so accustomed to WordPress themes these days. But need a responsive HTML theme and this one seems to be a good fit. I know enough HTML to remove the sidebar from the Project page. Wondering if it will mess up the responsive behavior if I do that? The Project page will be important to me. Thanks.

Themes-Dojo

No, it will not mess up the responsive behavior. If you’ll need help I will assist.

It certainly seems so. Thanks.

Very nice template. Before purchasing, decided to view it in the iOS emulator. Renders nicely, except that the Tel: number in the top bar container isn’t visible. The Email line is fine… Is it just an emulator thing or does it render well on an iPhone?

Themes-Dojo

It seams that the iPhone makes that number link. I will fix it.

Alex

Nice work. What’s your timeframe for the Wordpress version?

Themes-Dojo

Hi, I think that the WP version will be done somewhere at the beginning of the march.

I’ll wait for the new Alien:)

Barracuda62 and agurghis, the iphone does make that phone number area link but with the HTML5 element that surrounds the phone number, it’s doing exactly what its supposed to do. Problem is when you view this template with an iOS aware browser or an iphone the link color is styled so that it is very light against a medium or light background. I want to style the mobile version a little differently than the display version but haven’t gotten that far yet with my project. I assume there is a stylesheet or section in one of the stylesheets where I can do that yes? Or do I need to create a @media call?

GREAT template! The more I work with it the more I’m glad I purchased it. Only thing I would point out is that I’ve found more than a few style rules that overlap (from main.css, skin.css and sometimes maybe grid.css) and its hard to target them with Firebug.

But this theme is working great. There are so many fantastic features I will be tempted to purchase the WordPress version too. You certainly didn’t skimp on features. Your description doesn’t communicate them adequately.

Hi,

Nice work on the theme. Only i’ve some issues with uploading the file. It says “Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed.”

Can you help me out?

Themes-Dojo

This is a HTML Template not a wordpress.

Hi Alex, this template is working great. I have a question about viewing my site on a mobile device:

http://stormdoorsreno.com/index.html On this home page I managed to stack two
<div class="one_third first column_container" />
elements on the left and created this div with a new version of your “two_third” class floating it to the right:
 <div class="two_third_b" />
see the map. It all seems to work well but when I view on my phone the map is forced over to the right instead of filling the entire width.

I’m looking for media calls in the CSS but not finding any. Can you suggest how I might fix? Thanks. (Sorry this text editor doesn’t let me write code the way I would like for examples.)

Themes-Dojo

Hi,

To fix this you have to set up in grid.css the sizes for all the media (phone portrait, phone landscape, etc).

Alex

Would it be responsive if I implemented a slider like the one here? Where it slides left to right, and bleeds off the page with the next image? http://bit.ly/wdVDVJ

Themes-Dojo

Hi,

It depends if the slider you want to implement is responsive or not.

Could you help me out implementing a specific slider, I’d pay you for your time of course.

Themes-Dojo

Ok, I’m available. Use the form from my profile page to discuss the details.

Is there a lightbox image script involved in your theme? For a gallery of images, for example.

Themes-Dojo

Now I know, can you give me your email address and I will send you a fixed scripts.js file.

Just sent via your contact form.

Themes-Dojo

Just sent the file.

Hi can you please help me. I have the Prometheus responsive ecmommerce theme and I need to know how to take the map off the contact us page. I have left all the fields blank however it just leaves a big gap how can I take it off completley?

I’m having the same problem as beej30, I cannot get an image to open up in a lightbox window. Would have been nice if you had included a working sample.

Alex, I cannot give you a link because I am currently building the site on my desktop. However, you can take any of the pages in the downloaded package and apply the code that you have suggested in your reply to beej30:

The image will open in a new window but not in a fancybox window. Then I downloaded the scripts from the fancybox site and got it to work but then the responsive menu stopped working on those pages.

This is a great template but the fancybox thing has really delayed my launch.

Themes-Dojo

Ok, let’s take it step by step. Here’s the code for image to open in lightbox:

<a class="image" href="big-image.png"><img src="thumb-image.png" alt="title" /></a>

try it and let me know how it works.

If I use your files from the download including the fancybox files and I put your code on the first image in the standard 4 column portfolio page, it opens the large image in the same browser window. So, I’m not having trouble opening the large image. It just will not open in a fancybox window.

So, I went to the fancybox site and got their most recent version. After installing the new fancybox scripts from the fancybox site then, it works beautifully. Unfortunately, the most recent fancybox files contain a script called “jquery-1.7.2.min.js” and this conflicts with the javascript that allows a responsive menu to appear when the window is narrow.

So, I can either have a nice fancybox window on image click but no responsive menu when the browser window is narrow OR remove the “jquery-1.7.2.min.js” file, and get a nice responsive menu but no fancybox window for the large image. Sigh!

Hi Im kinda new to themes like this, But how can i get rid of the Blog as being the homepage? Or.. How can I set my homepage the way I want it..

Danny

Themes-Dojo
