How do I set up the portfolio to show only a selected number of items per page?

I think that setting is for the Blog posts? I am referring to the Portfolio posts…I have 24 portfolio items and they are all showing on 1 page..Id like to show 12 per page, so you can click on the next page to see more and they dont all show at once. Is that possible?
Yes, you should choose paged portfolio template. And set number of posts to display in settings/reading for blog. The same will apply for the portfolio.

I’m just testing Ken Burns slider with the theme (http://www.lambertgroupproductions.com/canyon/kenburnscollectionwp/page.html?type=FixedDimensions ), and I finally figured the way to have the background and ‘frame’ with the responsive slider was to put it in the ‘before content’ widget (slider wouldn’t align center when I first used full width template with custom header, but putting it in the Before Content with a background image worked perfectly.
Except, while the slider etc are responsive that background image doesn’t scale so I figure I need to have that removed on tablets and smartphones. Seems any size below 1024px I guess.
So how would I remove the background image for mobile devices in the before content widget (only on home page) and possibly swap it with another image (probably a gradient background)? Is this do-able?

You can try doing it in mobile.css or mobile-all.css depending on what responsive mode we use.

I did find my problem. I am using @fontface and I was missing a closing bracket. Doi! Seems like I am having another issue though. My footer doesn’t seem to be go across the page as it should. Do you have any suggestions for this?

I am using an autoblogging tool which should post the thumbnail also. I have set my server write permissions correctly and strangely I see the thumbnails on the home page using pull blog posts.
Strange though, that the thumbnails don’t appear on the actual blog page. How do I fix that?

Yes , they are. You will receive psd files of slides, so youwill be able to change text to your own. Then save images and use in your slider.

I don’t understand the instructions in the Quick Start guide relating to the copyright text. It says to edit the ‘Copyright Widget area’ but there is no such widget under Appearances > Widgets !

Internet Explorer is causing me probs (surprise). How can I get the top sidebar to stay in place? Even though that browser isn’t responsive it will insist on moving that top bar. The site is set responsive for just smart phones and the nav bar stays in place but not the top one. (I’m talking IE 7 /8 – no idea if it does the same in 9/10)
I’ve tried putting this in IE stylesheets
top_sidebar {margin-left:820px; position: fixed; }
and various combinations thereof. The wretched thing still keeps moving. As I have an image and ‘tap to phone’ there, it is obscuring the nav bar when it moves and looks messy. You’d think if it manages to keep the nav bar fixed it could do so with the top bar!
Can you shed any light on this?

Whoops I see the code I put in didn’t come out, sorry.
Okay I’m working on a wamp server so I’ve uploaded screencaps below., I’ve realised that IE8 is okay when not in compatibility mode, so it’s really a fix needed for IE7 style sheet I guess.
This is the image how it should be, the top sidebar has an image of 130px width and stays or moves when it should.

https://rapidshare.com/files/3033004884/screencap-2.jpg Other than having a very small nav and using submenus to get round it (don’t really want to do that) I’m trying to make sure it doesn’t slide over when the browser window is narrowed as many people do not have browsers windows open at full width.I tried setting the left margin in ie7 stylesheet to 820px hoping it would stay there. Also used float right and position fixed for the top side bar class to no avail.

Hmm assuming this is top widget area, maybe you can try adding something like this to ie7.css:
top_sidebar {position:static !important;}
Then move it as you need with margins.

I’d never heard of that static thing but that did it. The nav bar and logo got pushed down beneath it but I figured setting the horiz_m to a margin-top minus the width of the header would pull it back up and it did. All works perfectly in IE7 now so yay!

I tried that and the box is not hyperlinked .. nothing looks broken, but it’s simply not clickable.

The form I posted has a subscribe button in it, so when you click on it your taken to PayPal. I want your pricing box to be the subscribe button instead.
Lots of payment processors and shopping carts use <forms> rather than URL ’s
Then you will have to insert it into the content section for pricing box like this:

I pasted the above code into the HTML tab of the page, but now I just get the pricing box with the PayPal image inside it !
I want the entire pricing box to be the hyperlink and I don’t want to see the PayPal image.
Unfortunately this is the only option using the pricing box. Another one is to make it as an image and then put a link to it instead of paypal buton image src in form code.

I am still having a footer issue on my site – http://webrevmarketing.com/clients/newwebrev. Not sure what to do to get it to fit the width of the screen since everything looks okay in the css…
I do have another question though. I’m wondering if you have the knowledge or the code to change the portfolio a bit. I’d like it if the category that was selected would all come to the top of the page instead of just have the other images fade out. Is this possible? I understand if it’s a major enhancement, I just wanted to check and see if it is something that could be done.

When I upload an image from computer, this works great. When I try to use an image from the media library, it disappears when I save the page.
