Hi

Sorry for the late reply. Proton uses a third party plugin to power the date pickers. Full docs are available here:
http://www.malot.fr/bootstrap-datetimepicker/
I checked their demos and multiple date selections don’t seem to be supported by this plugin. Though if all you need is a from-to date range, you can simply use two date fields to do this (this is actually the usual practice for most websites). I multiple dates are required, the only solution I see with the current plugin is to add another instance of date selection field for each date you need to have selected.

pre-sales question: Can widgets be added or deleted? If so, how? Is there a limit of how many widgets can be added to the dashboard? Also, can the widgets be edited (when they flip over to show fields to adjust) looks promising for a future project.

Hi,

All this is possible and no, there’s no limit on the number of widgets other than what the browser can handle within reasonable limits. There have been similar question related to widgets on almost all pages of the comments section, but the most detailed answer on how to modify the widget area is on page one in reply to smartgrid’s question. Please see that reply for more details.

Thanks.

Hello,

We want to change jstree to its default functionality and are having issues loading it properly. We placed the standalone jstree version in to sidebar.js but loading keeps on spinning. Is there something we are missing. I hope there is a simple solution.

Thanks.

Hello,

Default jstree is initialized by the jstreeSetup function in sidebar.js. Have you tried just changing the json_data option to use your own json, formatted in this way: http://old.jstree.com/documentation/json_data. Please note that Proton uses jstree version 1, so the documentation for it is provided here: http://old.jstree.com/documentation

Thanks

I’m trying to make the jstree list custom, retrieving data from database. I just don’t undestand how I can do it without breaking the tree completely

Also in the zip there is no documentation to help me.

can you give me an idea of how to do it?

And also, I need unlimited levels, all with collapse toggle, I’ll use a code like

  • level1
    • level2

Hello,

Full documentation for jstree plugin is available here: http://old.jstree.com/documentation

You can check http://old.jstree.com/documentation/json_data for instructions on how to use ajax to pull custom json data into jstree. Default jstree is initialized by the jstreeSetup function in sidebar.js, so you would only need to change the json_data option with your own, and remove the on click event handler if you don’t need it.

Unlimited levels are not supported on the default sidebar so you would need to make code modification to either make the sidebar wider or make the jstree wrapper scrollable horizontally.

Thanks
