Generally – very nice theme…good work.
We just purchased this theme and really want to love it. It is missing a few key things that would really make it usable for us, and we are curious if you have any plans to include the following in the near future. (Or, if you have an immediate workaround, we are open to “customization” suggestions on our end.)
1) We really need a Linkedin option under the social settings. An alternative for us is to not use the built-in social settings in the footer, and try to incorporate a separate “socialize with us” section.
2) We need more functionality in the footer. Our single-page site will be fairly concise and to the point. It is critical for us to have a “secondary area” to display a quick vision statement/elevator pitch, and some other odds and ends. An expandable footer that exposes configurable columns for additional content would put this theme over the top.

1. Do you need all 4 of the existing Proxy Social icons? If you do not need at least one I can suggest you a quick solution, simply by replacing the icon that you do not need with a LinkedIn icon.
2. You can add the content in a Content Section Widget. Or at a text widget. But not at the footer itself. Depends on the content you need.

Thanks, good idea for the social icon for linkedin…we will give that a shot. We would be curious to know where the existing icons were sourced/are generated from, so we can maintain a consistent look-and-feel across the icons.
Regarding the second point, we really are just looking for a more robust footer. We understand that we have the ability to include content section widgets or text widgets in the main page, but really want to add the content to an expandable footer. Does that make sense?
We, too, are dependent on the ability to use video in the slides.

Is the theme using any scripts to detect what kind of device it is being viewed on?
The reason I ask is that when I view the site on my iPad 4th Gen it shows me a scaled up version of the mobile website (complete with 3-bar menu button and all), but when I view the website on my Nexus 10 it shows me the full Menu Bar. Is there any way to make it so that when the site is viewed on my iPad it shows the full menu bar also, just like the Nexus 10?

There is no such script used for iPad detection. But you can use media queries with ease to get styling specifically for iPad 4th Gen. Here is an example for targeting iPad 4th Gen with media queries.
As of now, breakpoint for mobile view is 992px. You can increase or decrease that as per your needs.

One more question for you guys: I’d really like to have a big Twitter feed in one of the page “sections”. Are there any plugins you guys can recommend for this functionality? Having a Twitter feed “widget” just isn’t cutting it for me. Ideally, I’d love to integrate something like what you’ve done on your GeekLove theme – only with 1 Twitter feed, instead of 2. Any way of integrating that Twitter feed into this theme?

There is no pagination for portfolio items but in next version of Proxy we are introducing the filter for portfolio so you include multiple sections or have filtered portfolio items.

I’m afraid that not possible without customisation, you’ll have to create custom page template for that. We didn’t include it in theme as it’s a one page theme.

thats bad. I want to show about 12 projects, but the page gets too long and heavy (specialy for mobiles). What about a Gateway Modal for a show all link in projects section?

maybe this way? Or i cant do this?You can work it this way only for new “static” content section areas (e.g. about us section), but it will not work for the rest of the widget areas.
(reminder: Homepage is widgetized, all sections at the homepage are widgets)
However depending on your skill level, you can modify the widgets, but it will require coding skills.

For the 4 columns I suppose you mean the ones at the team and services area? If so, you can not have more than 4 without extensive customization. This is not featured out of the box.
5 images is the max number you can have at the portfolio item slideshow. We will consider adding more in the next update.

hi and thanks for getting back to me. sorry i should have explained what i meant better regarding the columns. i was refurring to the short codes and wondered if it was possible to have more than 4 columns.
looking at your example page i guess not but this would be a very handy feature should anyone have to to dod fiddly layout stuff that may not always be used for text. in my case i need to layout a lot of logos in a table type formation.
anyhoo maybe something to think about for your next update.

Oh, ok. Sure, you can add up to 6 columns with shortcodes. See this image: http://d.pr/i/S41M it highlights the shortcodes generator on the editor panel. Hope this helps

Hello, i am considering purchasing this theme but i run a Videography company and need support for embedding vimeo/youtube videos. My question is, is there a way to use videos under the work section?
for example: on the preview where you have the 4 example pictures in the “work” section, when you click on one of the 4, it sends you to a “post” page where the banner picture is the photo you originally clicked on and there is text underneath it.
is it possible to put a thumbnail photo on the front page? and on the “post” page, have the banner photo an embedded video instead of a photo?

Great theme! Couple of suggestions for future updates:
1 – Contact Widget – Add phone number field
2 – Portfolio – Add options for 2-columns, 3-columns and 4-columns (and possibly filtering). This will help with a lot of other peoples concerns with the limited amount of portfolio space
3 – Widget Options – Currently you can change the background color but a “custom image” field would be very helpful for some users.
