Hi,

My father and his colleague use your theme for their workshop site. They have version 2.3. We just now discovered that the contact form isn’t working anymore. It doesn’t send the message to the specified email address. I’ve tested it with different email addresses, so it’s not a problem with the email address (or provider / hosting company). So it has something to do with the theme or Wordpress.

The form does give the “message sent” message, but the mail never arrives. We never knew it didn’t work up until now, so we think they’ve sadly missed a couple of new customers. The last new subscription they received is from mid januari.

Do you know what the problem may be? And are the sent messages retrievable somewhere or are they lost?

I’m really glad you’ve managed to solve it all yourself!

And yes, with the 3.0 version of the theme comes a full support for Contact Form 7 that should solve all possible issue with the mail client. :)

Hi Filip, would you be able to tell me where the text for the mobile menu is coming from? I see on your demo that “Select Page” comes up in the box so that the user knows there’s a menu there but on mine it is blank and I am trying to figure out why.

Hi Filip,

I have installed WPML with Purity 3.0. Main language is GERMAN, 2nd language is ENGLISH. I could translate everything with the WPML plugin. Only on the HOMEPAGE in RECENT WORK title and limited portfolio descriptions are still shown in German (when you hover over the feature image). How can I get the English description?

Hi, I’ve been using your theme on my website for about a year now and suddenly all the script is messed up. The blog feature images and portfolio items are not displaying. I have contacted the web hosting company and it is nothing on their end i.e. permissions etc. I have had my developer look into this also and they have said that the theme script is all messed up. No changes were made to the site, this just happened out of the blue. I have updated all plugins incase it was a conflict issue but it has not helped. Can you please tell me how this can be fixed? I don’t understand how this has just suddenly happened.

My developer has said that this conditional is causing a problem, and not assigning the image variable in the slider.php file “if(strpos($slide[‘image’],’veented.com’)) {“

No nothing has been changed. The last change was last month when I added some new products with woo commerce to the already created apparel page but this layout issue suddenly occurred a few days ago. All plugins and Wordpress versions are up to date.

What would you advise?

Please make sure that you installed just the small purity.zip file, not the whole .zip package downloaded from ThemeForest directly. :)

Hi we are interested in this theme but would like to know if its possible to have the webpage in two languages? We have the whole website already translated in both languages and would only like to know if we can give the option for the viewer to choose language in the first “home” page when entering the site? Can there be an icon with flags displayed in the top right corner? Can we change the size and font of the head menu text? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the interest!

And of course, Purity fully supports the WPML plugin that is the most popular multilangual plugin for WordPress. After you install it, there will be a dropdown list in the Top Bar section to choose a language. :) And sure, you can change any of the font sizes!

Hi Filip, I dont want to use WPML since I dont need to translate my texts, I have all my webpage texts already in two languages I only need to have the icon where you can choose a lanuage. WPML also costs money, does Purity support a plugin for 2 languages that is for free where you can add all the translated texts yourself?
