Hello there,

Quick pre-sales questions, can you create text pages with a slideshow just like the homepage? Also is your theme WPML friendly?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

yes you can add slideshow on top of every page, and yes the theme support WPML.

Thanks for your reply, i ended up purchacing your theme. It seems tho that the portofolio pages can have only one photo (the featured one) and thats very limited, is there a way to show a slideshow with the lightbox function?

Just to add my to question, i tried the [thb_slideshow id=”“] shortcode but nothing happened, i noticed that the works page template doesn’t load the flexslider script.

To answer my own question again, i managed to fix it by editing the single-works.php file and i added the flexslider slideshow script ( here is a pastebin of the code i used exactly http://pastebin.com/JvfKAnC3 ) . After that i was able to add any slideshow shortcode inside the works text.

Hi there,

the single work support only on image, anyway if you mind to enable the use of the slideshow shortcode in the single work content and in the page header you can edit config/config.php and add ‘single-works.php’ in the array on $thb_slideshow_templates at line 110, something like this one http://pastebin.com/CN11eKqw

Thanks for your reply, since its working with the way i did it i wont bother changing it. It would be nice to include the slideshow functionality everywhere in your next theme update.

I also managed with some extra php and jquery code to show the category description in the portfolio page for each category.

Hello again,

I would like to remove the “Services” and “Testimonials” menu items that your theme creates, i want to remove them completely not just hide them from certain users.

Is it possible to point me to the part of the themes code that those menus are created?

THBThemes

Hi there,

in the config.php file, you might want to comment out the following lines:

$thb_theme->loadModule('services', array(
    'templates' => array(
        'template-services.php',
    )
));
$thb_theme->loadModule('testimonials', array(
    'templates' => array(
        'template-testimonials.php',
    )
));
This way the post type won’t be created at all by the theme.

Unfortunately by commending those line you suggested it makes the website inaccessible (just blank white screen), is there any other way to remove those buttons from the admin panel?

THBThemes

Ok, so maybe your best shot is to follow a specific tutorial about customizing the admin menu, like this one: http://code.tutsplus.com/articles/customizing-the-wordpress-admin-custom-admin-menus--wp-33200

There are several resources out there, you shouldn’t have any problem in finding what you’re looking for.
