How do I make the slider take up less vertical space? (ie. give it a smaller height value)
Is it possible to use smaller images in the slider without them being scaled up? I see that the images you’ve used for the slider are 1920×549 and smaller images are automatically scaled up to this size?
Thanks
The images are being scaled up to fill the width of the widescreen slider. So if you want a smaller slider vertically, you will need to use images that are smaller vertically but still wide enough to fill the screen without being resized. Or you can place your image on say a 1900px wide background. – Hope that helps.
Thanks for your great product. BTW where can I change the main background from dark gray to other colour (such as white)?
Thanks for your help.
body { background: #F5F4ED; }Hi i would like to know if i can use the demo images in the home page slider for my site? thank you.
You can license the images at fotolia.com Just search file numbers: 34442891, 41309507, 32989333
Cheers
I am working with this theme for a client who bought it. Is there an easy way to remove the social media links from the individual team member entries?
Disregard previous question. Found it. Thanks! Great theme!
ok, thanks.
HI,
Just bought the theme and it looks and works great. A small issue I’m having is that for some reason the slider wouldn’t move. The slider buttons show up for other slider images. But when I click on them they just refresh the page. It just shows the image with the most recent date. Anything I’m doing wrong or is it a problem that others have faced?
Thanks in advance, Sukrit
Can you email me a link to your site so I can take look. Perhaps, with a temp login. I haven’t heard of that problem reported before. -Cheers
Hi,
Where can I locate your email address?
Thanks.
Click on my profile and it shows a message form.
Awesome theme and amazingly easy to work with
Have a question:
How can I make the items in the carousel (in the main page) not clickable? I.e. just show the carousel items without linking to anywhere else.
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work and great support.
<a class="zoom" href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>">Zoom</a> <h3><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"> <?php the_title(); ?> </a></h3>to<h3> <?php the_title(); ?> </h3>Hi,
I see what you mean. It is an issue in IE8 with opacity. Can you send me an email. There is a few solutions we can try. – Thanks
Thanks for the theme. I’m trying to add custom menu’s to the footer and for whatever reason, it’s making it a 3 column footer when it needs to be 4 or 5 columns. Because of the funky columns, it’s styling things weird.
How can I make each menu take up it’s own column on the footer?
Thanks!

Sorry, it’s too late to edit my las questions, but I just wanted to sum up what I would like.
I currently took out 2 custom menus to make it look better, but I really want 5 custom menus to be displayed in one single row (not on top of each other) and without any list-style.
For the life of me I can’t figure out why the second and third columns have list-styles when the first does not and I’ve tried multiple ways to get rid of them with no success.
Thanks!
Scott
http://hostingdifferent.comHi Scott,
Can you email me a link and login so I can check it out. – Thanks
The link is in the comment. http://hostingdifferent.com Thanks!
Ok. The theme wasn’t up last time I looked. Add this to your css
#footer ul { list-style: none outside none; }The theme is currently setup for four footer widgets.
Sorry, it was up, but I had my coming soon page up for non-logged in users.
Okay, I got teh 4 widgets to work, but your code didn’t work to remove the list-styles. Any other ideas. It’s been frustrating me to no end! LOL
Some extra characters showed up in my post.
This is the css:
#footer ul { list-style: none; }I had already tried that one and it didn’t work. I can’t seem to isolate the list styles for those widgets. I even added !important, but it didn’t help either.
Figured it out. It had to be placed in the layout.css and not the base.css
Great theme and everything is working well. The only problem I’m having is the carousel on the homepage links aren’t working. I added gallery items and featured images and there is content on the page, but when you click on the gallery thumbnail to see the detail page, it gives me a 404.
This sounds like perhaps a permalinks issue. If you go into wp/permalinks and re-save your settings does it fix the issue? – Cheers
Yep, I changed to a different structure and it worked (even though all the other links were working). Thanks for the help!
Two more things: 1. I’ve tried three lightbox plugins and the galleries still link to pages instead of the lighbox. 2. I don’t see the short code to add the carousel to an interior page?
Thanks!
Update: I found a Lightbox Gallery plugin that would work. Not sure why the others didn’t… but that’s fixed.
Hello,
I’ve read this theme has 4 skins. What’s colours are included?
Thanks for all!
The default as you see in the demo + green, slate and red. It changes the colors of the buttons, links and some highlights.
How can I specify which email should receive messages from the Contact form (not the website admin email)? Thanks.
$emailTo = ''. get_bloginfo('admin_email') .'';You can enter your own email address.Great theme!
I am looking at an interesting quirk in the layout when observing the site in Google Chrome. First, the title header tag seems to disappear in chrome. In some instances, the title tag disappears, an a significant amount of padding is added. Do you have any suggestions?
Example: http://heardmktg.com/marketing-pr-strategies/
Thanks. The demo seems to display the title headers properly in chrome. Have you added any css? Or is a plugin adding some css?
No, I haven’t added CSS . I’ve tweaked a couple elements in the style sheets, but nothing too significant. I deactivated all plugins, and it’s still happening. It’s weird that it only occurs in Chrome. I’m at a loss. ha!
I also noticed that the price tables don’t show up on Firefox now….http://heardmktg.com/online-menu/
Try removing ‘overflow:hidden’ from .heading H2
You are amazing! Thank you!!!
Really nice theme – congratulations!
One quick question – can the admin panel be unbranded?
Thanks
JW
Thanks. Yes, the admin panel is unbranded. – cheers
Almost done but i have a few adjustments that i wasn’t able to solve :
how do i make the rss and slider links land on a differente target page ?
I noticed the html says language is “en-US” where can i change this to portuguese ?
Thanks
The slider posts have a metabox in the right column to add the url link. Are you saying you would like the link to open in a new window?
If you want to change the language meta manually you can go into header.php and change this :
to
