Hi guys, is there any chance to create a menu called BLOG in the header menu bar? That BLOG menu would take the users to all the blogposts… thanks

Hey, I worked it out. If others have the same: create a BLANK page, title “BLOG” or whatever and set it as the posts page in Settings>Reading.

Hi Guys, is there any chance to hide the header menu bar? (only the menu, the logo stays :)

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Go to Theme Options > Appearance > Custom CSS Codes then add this code:

nav.main { display: none; }

Thank you!

Hi Guys, one more question: is there any way to create a menu on the header menu bar which if I click on it, it takes further down to a specific part of the homepage, for example to the RSVP section?

Hi, I tries to add the id (for example: id=”widget-warrior_rsvp-2”) but after I save it WP add the http:// before this line and it doesn’t work… Any idea please?

Default-user

Hey I solved it, I had to add # before the ID… cheers! :)

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Glad you managed to figure it out.

Hi Guys, sorry to being pain and asking again, I have 4 more questions:

1. how to change the date format of the blogposts from “xy time ago” to the standard day/month/year format?

2. how can I have the posts in full width (without the sidebar)?

3. when I setup a featured image for a post, that picture goes before the title, which is a little bit weird… is there any setup to put that featured image after the title?

4. if the above issue cannot be solved, is that possible to show image (not only text) on the list of the posts?

thank you Marou

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Did you save the changes and upload the file back to your server?

Default-user

Yes, sure I did :) Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/dDyYrwu.jpg

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Thats weird, make sure you’ve cleared any cache from the site. I that doesn’t solve it, check the corresponding file in the server and make sure the content has been changed accordingly.

Hey guys!!I really like this theme for my client, but I have a quick question: -Is there any option to include, more than one location in google maps area? I mean, if I can include more than one location.. If there is a possibility, I will buy it right now!! ;D Anyways guys, really good theme :D

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

It’s already in our to-do list actually so you can expect this feature in future version.

In the mean time you can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-maps/ and then add their map widget to the homepage widget area.

I’ve tried it and it works but you will need to write couple lines of CSS to adjust the styles. If you’ve purchase the theme just let us know and we’ll help you adjust the CSS styles for the map.

Here’s a screenshot of the map with multiple location marker using the above widget implemented in Qaween theme http://note.io/XLRA2G

Thank you guys!! I’ve just bought the theme!! When I will go to do my location on google maps, I will ask you, so you can help me a little ;D Really thanks!! We will keep in touch!! greetings!!

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing!

Hi ThemeWarriors,

I have 3 more questions, if you could help me that would be much appreciated.

1. how to add extra field (message box) to the RSVP form? 2. when I get RSVP via email all the “&” symbols are “&amp”, can we fix this? 3. how to change the date format from MM/DD/YYY to DD/MM/YYYY at the date in front of the slideshow and above the RSVP form?

Thanks, Marou

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

1. Right now modifying the RSVP form will require some knowledge in PHP.

Here are the files you need to change to modify the RSVP widget (adding new fields etc):

- themes/qaween/includes/widgets/warrior-rsvp.php

- themes/qaween/js/functions.js

- plugins/qaween-plugin/qaween.php

2. It’s because we use esc_attr() function to strip all HTML tags and modify ‘&’ symbols to &. You can remove esc_attr() function but the form will be less secure.

3. You can modify qaween_date() function in /qaween/functions/theme-functions.php to suit your needs.

Hello, I purchased your theme and I really like it.

I’m having a problem with the punctuation and other symbols, they seem to be backwards. They appear in front of sentences instead of at the end. All punctuation is having the same issue. When I try to fix it, it deletes the end of the sentence. I have tried everything, what do I do?

Thank you!

Hi,

Seems like RTL language support is enabled on your site. Go to Theme Options > General Settings then disable RTL Support.

Hey,

Using two of the Warrior Map widgets on the home page breaks the second map. Is there a work around?

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

The Warrior Map widget can only be used once in homepage. My suggestion is to use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-maps/ if you want to display 2 maps in the homepage.

Any way to disable comments throughout the site?

Default-user

I tried to “uncheck” Settings >> Discussion >> uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles”—still no dice.

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

The settings above will only apply on new article that will be publish after you applied the above setting.

The easiest way to do it is to open /qaween/content.php then find and remove this line:

<?php comments_template( '', true ); ?>

Hi there,

I was wondering if it’s possible to upload multiple full-width images on the homepage? I’m not talking about adding more images to the hero slideshow, but just being able to add more large photos throughout the homepage would be great. Please let me know if that’s possible in the current build.

Thanks!

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

So sorry for the late reply. I somehow missed your comment.

Right now only 2 widgets that are able to add full-width image as its background: Countdown widget and RSVP widget.

I would like to change the page title font color.

Also I would like have an option for the guest to upload photos and this to be shown in the gallery.

How do I go about doing this ?

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

You can change the page title font color from Theme Options > Typography > Post Title.

Also I would like have an option for the guest to upload photos and this to be shown in the gallery.

I’m sorry but this feature isn’t available in the theme.

Default-user

Thanks for your reply. I have installed the next gen plugin with a photo uploader option. Although the widget shows on the sidebar the upload options are not showing. is this because of any limitations from the theme?

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Nope but you might want to test it using other theme and see if it still broken. We can’t provide much help because 3rd party plugins is beyond our support policy.

Hi! Great theme :)

I changed the RSVP options in the widget file to reflect a 0 – 2 range instead of 1 -10. Just like this:

<?php for( $i = 1; $i <=10; $i++ ) { ?>

then replace it with this one:

<?php for( $i = 0; $i <=2; $i++ ) { ?>

And also added “Not Attending’ to the list of options (just made it another event in the theme options alongside “Wedding”, “Reception” and “Both”.

Changed this a week or two ago. Everything has been working as it should. But now suddenly the dashboard widget isn’t reflecting the proper count. It looks like the loop you use to count all the RSVP values is capping out at 10 keys in the array, though I’ve had 14 people RSVP. According to the RSVP list, the actual total persons attending is 22, but the widget says 17 (though sometimes it says 16 or 14 with the same number of RSVP’s).

I’d like to fix this before there’s a flood of RSVP’s. Any idea what’s going on?

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

So sorry about that. To fix it open /wp-content/plugins/qaween-plugin/qaween.php then find this line:

$find_rsvp_attending_yes = new WP_Query( array( 'post_type' => 'rsvp', 'meta_key' => 'rsvp_persons_attending' ) );

then replace it with this:

$find_rsvp_attending_yes = new WP_Query( array( 'post_type' => 'rsvp', 'meta_key' => 'rsvp_persons_attending', 'showposts' => -1 ) );

Thank you so much for the excellent customer service! 5 stars! That did it :D

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Thank you so much for giving us 5 star rating and a sincere review!

Hi there, we recently purchased this template and am wondering if/how it is possible to change the date function on the homepage slideshow to a full week (eg. May 30th – June 6th, 2015).

Thank you.

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

It’s not possible by default. You might want to hardcode the date in /qaween/incudes/widgets/warrior-slideshow.php file.

Hey,

Gorgeous theme. Is it possible to have full width for the blog page, I don’t need any of the category stuff etc…?

Guessing the home page etc can also be adjusted to not show certain parts easily?

Thanks, Matt

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

To make blog detail page full width will need some custom work done.

Regarding the homepage you can add or remove any widgets you want.

Great Theme! I am trying to put an image in the sub menu bar on each page and I cannot figure out how to do it. Can someone please help me out with this.

Thanks, Matt

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

You mean the image below the main navigation? Go to Theme Options > Colors > Page Title Background.

Hello!

Love this theme. I’m having issues with the responsive mode of the site. The countdown backgroud image and RSVP background image are both not scaling when viewed on tablet and mobile. Any suggestions? Thanks!

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

Hopefully not too long, as soon as we’re finished with our new theme we’ll update Qaween theme. There will be several updates planned, one of the important one is we’re going to use Contact Form 7 to replace current RSVP system so it will easier to modify by our users.

Default-user

Okay great! One final question: how will I know when the update is available? I am using a child theme created off of Qaween, so will I be made available when an update is released and is there a way for me to update my child theme once the update is released? Thanks!

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

To get notified simply go to http://themeforest.net/downloads and put a check mark on ” Get notified by email if this item is updated” in Noticia.

You should update your child theme manually.

Hello,

I need help to set up my wedding page, I’ve revised the manual.. but

(1) I can’t see the Qaween plugin in my wordpress panel… (2) I don’t have this plugin: Home: Warrior Gallery Album! (3) I can’t see the ‘Creating Slideshow’ or ‘Creating Events!’ fuctions in my wordpress panel

Thank you in advance for your help.

ThemeWarriors

Hi,

1. Make sure you follow every steps in Setting Up the Homepage inthe documentation. Qaween plugin needs to be installed along once the theme is installed.

2. That is not a plugin, it’s a widget. It should be there in Appearance > Widgets.

3. That’s because you haven’t installed Qaween plugin, please refer to answer #1.

Hi there! I have 4 separate galleries set up & would like to include some text on each gallery page that appears before the thumbnails. (The text is currently defaulting to appear below the thumbnails.) Do I need to edit the theme template for the gallery pages? And if so, what exactly do I need to change?

Thanks in advance for your help!
