Hi!

just bough the template and did an excellent job with it!

The only problem I’m facing is that I need the .php functions to be separate from the contact page.

Contact.html need to call functions from external .php!

Can you help on this?

Thanks!

Hi,

I do my best to provide support for the theme as it comes by default. What you’re asking is clearly a customization which requires additional work and research on my part and this is not the intention of this forum. My time is very limited and I would like to invest it in improving the theme and/or resolving issues with it. Hope you understand my point.

hi, i’m using qualifire WP template for my blog and website. but i wanna use the website template instead for my website. may i know if the cart system is fully functional? i’ve tried the Live Preview, but its not working. and can we customize the cart, to include other code and our analytics tracking? thanks

AndonDesign

Hi,

the Site Template QualiFire as most Site templates at ThemeForest are only a front end (skin) theme’s, no functionality behind it, except the Contact page in QualiFire’s case. So, it is up to you how to implement the business login behind the cart.

thanks internq7. may i know if there is any payment system integrated into the template? do you have paypal integrated into the cart system?

AndonDesign

Hi, no payment system is integrated, the theme is just basically a skin, nothing more, so no business login comes with it.

I recently purchased the HTML version of Qualifire and cannot get WP to recognize the style sheet folder. No matter how many times I install it, the same error occurs. I usually do the manual install method, and that has also failed to work for me.

I read another post regarding the folder arrangements (CSS is within the “Stlyes” folder), but I have not discovered the solution.

I have the correct unzipped file folder loaded within the wp-content/themes folder, but not working…

anyone know how to fix this?

thanks.

AndonDesign

Hi,

you said that you purchased the HTML version!! If you’re going to install a theme for WordPress it has to be for WordPress.

The HTML Site templates are not meant to be used with WordPress.

Hi internq7

Could you help me put a banner in the place where the logo is? the dimensions of the banner would be 920×200 Thanks

sorry about my bad english =)

AndonDesign

Do you want it as a background behind everything in the top area, search, etc, or to replace everything there??

This is an example of what i want, i just want to put a bigger logo center in the middle http://www.mildreddesign.com/images/QualiFire_Home_Page.jpg and the dimensions are 920×200 Thanks.

AndonDesign

Hi,

in that case you might have to structurally modify the top area, you need to edit “header.php” and remove the ‘slogan’, ‘search’ and ‘phone-number’ divs and increase the logo grid to ‘grid_23’ or ‘grid_24’ see which one fits better, or something like:
<div class="grid_22 prefix_1" id="logo">
   ....
</div>

Hello Internq7,

Sorry to bother you with this, I’m sure it is a simple fix. I recently purchased the site template “qualifire”, love it. It’s awesome. I will be purchasing the wordpress template as well. I loaded the site and I am not seeing any of the images, which I am sure is just a path issue, but it seems as though I have it set up correctly.

the site is www.bookkeepingmiami.com

Please let me know what I did wrong when you have a moment.

Thanks

AndonDesign

Yes, your path is not correct. Check out the Documentation included on how to install the theme. You need to unzip the original source zip file you downloaded from themeforest, then inside you will find the “Documentation” folder as well as ‘qualifire.zip’ which is the actual theme.

Hi, I’ve purchased this template and have it just about ready to go live. I’m a novice so this may be an odd question, but how do I use the blog page? Do I connect it to a database in some way? I understand the sql/php databases. I’m not sure how to make it work from a template like this. I understand that all the blog sites, like wordpress, etc, will not allow for a template that is not created to their code specifications. So how does one use this page on your non-wordpress template? I’d purchase the wordpress template as well, but I would only use the blog page. I llike the look of the blog page in the template and want to keep the consistancy. Is there a short answer to this?? Thanks,

AndonDesign

Hi,

good question!!

Generally you need some server side language to power a blog section so that it’s dynamic. Doing it with HTML only will not quite work out.

The reason I included it is for people that might want to implement the theme in other programming languages other than PHP , e.g. ASP .Net

So, in short you don’t have to use it, if you really want a quick way to have it working, then you might want to consider using WordPress as I already have the WP version of the theme.

Thanks for your quick reply. Much appreciated! I don’t suppose you would be able to sell me just the wordpress blog page would you?! I don’t really like building an entire website using wordpress, but just the blog page would be perfect. I’ll consider purchasing the entire template if I can’t find a better way to work the blog page. Thanks again. I wish all the designers were as quick to respond as you! best, Paul

AndonDesign

Hi,

it doesn’t make sense to get just one php file that is meant to work with WordPress.

An arm or a leg wouldn’t operate or survive on its own, it needs to be part of a whole body. It’s the same concept, my WP theme’s pages can only work with WordPress, you can’t just isolate one page template and expected to work, it doesn’t work that way.

I understand. I decided to purchase the wordpress version as well. I like the theme a lot and want to use the complete theme. Thanks again for your speedy replies! I’ll look forward to seeing any new templates, etc that you create….

AndonDesign

Great!!

I just released a new theme, you can check it out here: http://themeforest.net/item/udesign-wordpress-theme/253220

I noticed the Flyout Submenu in the Sidebar is static on both the demo and downloaded version. Is there a class that needs to be applied to make it active? I couldn’t find anything in the docs.

Thanks for a really nice looking template!

AndonDesign

Thanks.

I’m not sure I follow your question. The theme doesn’t have a fly-out menu in the sidebar! Which menu are you referring to?

Default-user
ar10 Purchased

Please refer to the Qualifire demo and navigate to the “description” page. Under the left-hand column, there is a submenu and also a reference to Flyout Submenu Demo as well as child items and sub child items. It is currently static – was it meant to be that way? It appears the submenu items should flyout when appropriate – no?

AndonDesign

I see,

yes, those are static, the menu doesn’t ‘fly-out’ when you hover.

This menu is a widget called “QualiFire: Subpages”, BUT in order for it to display the page hierarchy, you need to setup the page parent – child relationship the old fashioned way in the backend, you know when you edit a page you can set its parent… that’s what I’m referring to.

If you need further clarification you can email me and I’ll show you a screenshot. You can send me an email through my Profile page. Scroll down the page (bottom right) and you’ll see the contact form in there.

Hi,

Just wondering if you would be willing to create a custom web design for a corporate website? We really like the design/style of this template (QualiFire) so it would be very similar to this.

Please email me at chermina@questas.com.au.

Thank you.

Kind regards, Cecilia

I have just bought this template and really love it. However, I am struggling to see how I can change the text/font of the writing which says ‘Loading first image’ just before the first slider image is loaded.

The font looks like a fun, funky kids font, which really isn’t suitable for my business. Can you point me in the right place for changing this please?

I’m not sure if it’s formatted text or an image, but I can find no image with this on, and can’t find the text phrase in the source code anywhere.

Thanks, Justin

AndonDesign

Hi Justin,

please email me and I’ll send you the source flash so that you can compile your own version of the slider SWF without the text.

You can send me an email through my Profile page. Scroll down the page (bottom right) and you’ll see the contact form in there.

How can I have One thumbnail that contains several photos “Pretty Photos” that show Next and Previous button? I am not getting the Next button. if($(’.pp_arrow_next’).is(’.disabled’)) return; setPosition++; can I alter the code to enable Next button?

AndonDesign

Hi,

you need to group the photos with the same name in the rel attribute like this: rel=”wp-prettyPhoto[portfolio]”

it’s the part “[portfolio]” that you need to add to all image’s rel’s that you want grouped on that page.

Cheers

Thank you for your reply, I already did that but still the Next button did not work. That is why I thought it might be something to do with js code that I can alter.

Thank you!!

OK, email me a link to your site with backend admin access to have a look. You can send me an email through my Profile page. Scroll down the page (bottom right) and you’ll see the contact form in there.

I am sorry I send a wrong reply. When I group them the Next Button works but the thumbnail picks up photos from the second thumbnail next to it .

I want to have separate thumbnails for separate artists and each thumbnail will contain it own photos and Still see the next button.

please see my link.

http://www.thedreammultimediaproduction.com/portfolioillustrationyazan.html

I have three thumnails for three artists – each thumbnail is linked to its own page – you can see the here is No Next Button.

AndonDesign

OK, if you need to have more than one group of image on one page then just change the name of the galley in the square brackets, for example for the first group of images use:
   rel=”wp-prettyPhoto[portfolio1]”
for the next one use:
   rel=”wp-prettyPhoto[portfolio2]”
etc.

also if you would like to add additional images but not show them as thumbnails, then you can add the image and link code but assign inline style to hide the image, for example style="display:none;"
<a href="images/yazanartbig.jpg" rel="prettyPhoto[portfolio]" style="display:none;">
<img src="images/yazanartsmall.jpg" alt="By Yazan Masarweh" /></a>
Hope that makes sense

I am really sorry to bother you. I just did a test page now here is the code – it did not work not. I am not using word press that is why I did not use wp before prettyphoto.

OK, I just replied to your email, let’s move to email, this discussion is starting to get too long and probably boring to other users. :)
