make sure you clear the cache of any caching plugins you might have and in your browser.

Do you see the width and height in the HTML when you view source?? Look in the “li” list elements for the slider.

I looked at the source and cleared the cache. It does show the image height of 450 that I changed under the Qualifire options but it does not reflect on the page. I tried the same settings with Piecemaker and it works fine.

Unfortunately I cannot send you the link as I have not activated the theme on my currently active blog yet. I have been testing your theme on my laptop on the localhost.

That is odd.

Also, make sure the actual images have the same dimensions as you require.

In you case you can insert them in ‘single.php’. Try in various places before or after the title and see if you like the results.

All PSD files contain slices of the required images. In Photoshop you just have to go File—> Save for Web & Devices… select the slices you’d like to generate (Shift+click to select multiple slices), hit “Save”, at the next “Save Optimized As” dialog box under Slices dropdown select “Selected Slices” and “Save”.

I think you may have some invalid HTML in one of the Text Widgets, please check your code, make sure you always have closing tags for div’s, p’s, etc.

what exactly is the problem, I check on my computer and looks fine?

The permissions were already correct and I did clear the browser cache and it still the same problem. I even uploaded a new image and it says uploaded successfully in the qualifire options screen but when I look in the images folder, it does not show the image. In fact I am not sure where it is uploading the image. I could not find anywhere in my folder.

Any other tips? I am stumped. I have the theme running fine in my local computer and in another blog and it is working great. But my main blog www.hintofsaffron is still having issues. Not sure how I can resolve this. Really appreciate your help and ideas.

the problem comes from the fact that your PHP setup it’s missing an extension called php_mbstring Please, contact tech. support at your hosting company and tell them about this extension missing, they should be able to help you enable it.
