Please, I would like to desactivate the mobile version, because I want to see the website in my iphone as in my desktop. How can I do that?

Love the theme! Load time is a deal-breaker. If this theme loads quickly we’ll pull the trigger. How would you rate the load time?
I believe I clocked total load time under 7 seconds using a program before. The page overall loads very quickly. If for some reason it’s taking longer than this, it’s most likely our server that’s the bottleneck along with a bunch of people viewing simultaneously.
Obviously if you add 20+ pages to your main one-page then expect slow load times (since you’re essentially loading 20 different pages at once). However, anything under 15 doesn’t seem to be too noticeable and most people need under 10 for their site’s one-page.
Great Theme, we’ve purchased it a few times, how I do change the font size and font type on the home page, we’d like to have it like 24 pt and Myriad Pro Bold, we’re using this:

Also, is there a way to hide the Top Menu on just the home page, but keep it on the rest of the theme?

Shortcodes aren’t usually in the editor unless there is a shortcode generator. Please check your manual and/or the demo content and you’ll see all the shortcodes.

the mobile menu is shown and is way off is there a way to hide the mobile nave for ie8 and 7 and just display the regular nav???

You should open a ticket on the forum. Generally requests aren’t handled through email and/or PM since they can’t be tracked and are lost easily.

Hi since there are about 10 pages of comments I’d like to ask you a few pre-purchase questions directly:
1) Am I limited to the pages that are in de the demo? Or can I just add a bunch of pages and will they be added to the one-page? 2) Is it possible to create pages that aren’t in the one-page part, but on another page? 3) Can I add my own content / plugin content to the pages/sections on the one-page design?

1) Nope. Unlimited pages and you can add your own content through shortcodes or templates, so nothing is “fixed.” 2) Yes, you can create as many separated pages as you need to. 3) Yes, you can. So far, almost all plugins work with the one page design. Although it is possible that some plugins are poorly coded or have conflicts. If it’s a conflict with the theme, we can help out in the forum.
Just one more question, is the theme WPML ready?
Yes, we’ve had a number of users use WPML without any problems.
The Quickstep theme does not display the Excerpt on the website and subsequently not in RSS Feeds, Just the Title. Please advise how to resolve. I do not want to simply rely upon the More Button, as the RSS feed appears to be pulling from the Excerpt as well.

How many PARALLAX LAYERS could we have on pages? If so, are they fully customizable? Or if we have to edit the code?
Is there a way to adjust alpha for background image in the editor?
Is this template could be easily translated with let’s say… poedit?

QuickStep can have unlimited sections, but doesn’t have actual parallax layers. I created a custom extension that has unlimited parallax layers and is very easily customizable, but this is separate. You can contact me at joshua@themeluxe.com if you’d like to discuss it.
I’m not sure what you mean in regards to the background. There’s no ‘alpha’ setting.
Yes, this template works with POEdit.
