We are looking for a responsive onepage theme for a business site. I am reviewing your theme for our website redesign. It looks really promising! To determine if we should purchase your theme, I have the following questions: 1. Can each vertical section of the onepage have its own screenwide background picture? 2. Is it possible to define 2 separate main pages, where each is a onepage, with their own layout settings? 3. Is it possible to have shortcut buttons positioned on each subsection of the onepage layout for a CTA? 4. Please indicate 1-3 example websites using this theme.
If one or more things are not possible, please indicate possible workarounds,

1. Yes. 2. You can separate pages but you can’t have 2 that both have multiple pages. Only one of then can be the main one page theme. You might be able to modify this but I’d recommend hiring a developer. 3. Yes. 4. Obviously I can’t just post other people’s websites without their permission. You can take a look aroud the forum though to see if there are any links users have posted of their site.

I purchased this theme under a different username, but I just wanted to say that it works great
- however, in IE the scrolling pages don’t work. Whenever I click the nav bar, the pages don’t scroll to the page -instead, it just does nothing. I’ve opened a support request on the support forums under username patmac166. Would love to get this taken care of ASAP. Make sure you also post your URL since this is not a known issue with QuickStep. There may be a javascript error on your site.

I would like to buy your theme, however the slide / auto scroll doesn’t work smoothly on the ipad or iphone – in fact it doesn’t work at all. Am I doing something wrong?
Just tested on several devices and everything is still working normally. Haven’t heard anything else from other purchasers either. Might be an issue with your device or internet connection if the page wasn’t loaded properly.
I just refreshed on both the ipad and iphone and it works now. don’t know what was causing it earlier.
Purchased and installed. So far so good. FYI: when importing the default demo content using the wordpress upload tool, I got the following error
Failed to import “Contact form 1”: Invalid post type wpcf7_contact_form
Edit: I think that is because I haven’t yet activated the Contact Form Plugin.
You’re correct, the plugin must be activated first to create the post type in your WordPress database.
Hi, I love your deign, but I’m a total newbie and just had some questions before I purchase. I haven’t used wordpress before – is it easy to add this theme to my blog? I don’t have experience building websites before. Also, can I use this theme with the basic wordpress package – or do I need premium? Sorry for so many questions, but can I add mailchimp signup boxes and facebook preview plugins to the pages too? Thanks so much, Dan

Yes you can use this with any WordPress setup. We’ve created pretty extensive documentation that walks you through setup to how to use advanced features in the theme.
You can easily install any plugins. Obviously we can’t guarantee third party solutions functionality but we can point you in the right direction and help you get something setup.
We also have a dedicated support forum for any questions that are left unanswered in the documentation.

hi, love this theme. 2 pre sale questions.
1. can the header background image be a slider or a video? visually, it is such a powerful space when landing on the site, i would love to be able to offer more than a static image to the site user.
2. can a plugin like uber menu be used with this theme to enhance the menu?

1. There is a way to make the slider full width (discussed in our forum). You can also add videos to this. If you want a fullscreen video background, you may need to look into another program.
2. I’ve never tried it, but probably not. QuickStep uses a pretty advanced menu to slide to various pages and determine how links should be loaded on the page. Uber menu would have to be modified to include these variables to really work (assuming you’re using the one-page sliding site).

Yes, it is. You can just create a slider and then make it full width. There’s a couple threads on how to do this.

1. You might try a third party option or plugin. For example – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pricing-table/
2. Sure, it’s not a post type, just a blockquote. You could easily add a picture through a shortcode.
3. You might look into another plugin for this or adding a jQuery plugin to do it.
Terrific theme. One of the best I’ve seen in a while.
I just got a question from a friend that bought this theme (Quickstep v 1.9). When you press on a Post title the site scrolls down so much until you reach the bottom of the page (which has no content)... same happens when you click on the post title in the sidebar widget in the ‘page’ / area where the posts are shown. It just scrolls down leagues away from any content. How can I fix this?

Hey Theme Lux- I just uploaded the theme and for some reason the navigation is all screwed up… Meaning its not lined up correctly at the top of the page. First off – tip top theme, been using it fora good few months and it’s perfect.
I do have one question which I hope is an easy one – I have a child theme which is a shop that I need as a link in the menu, the problem is the shop site loads in the bottom of the single page theme instead of on a separate page. Hopefully you can help me with this?

Hello everyone,
I’m having a few issues with implementing this theme.
Firstly, when I use the column short code, it doesn’t seem to be bringing the second “one_half_last” column up to float alongside the first. See below: http://dev.markleblanc.com/about/Thoughts on that? I’ve checked several times, and it appears that I’m implementing the code correctly, but something must be off.
Secondly, I am having some trouble embedding youtube videos in the columns so that they are properly responsive. When put a video in a 1/2 column, it embeds a full-width video and chops off the edges. Then, when i set a maximum width, the video continues off the side of mobile phone browsers. Any advice on how to get a responsive embed?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I am having an issue with the team section using your theme. I have tried to add just 3 key people to this section but it appears that there is a minimum of 4. When I try to add just 3 it is not spaced out evenly. There is a huge gap between the 2nd and 3rd although an extra profile should be there. Can you please help?

Thinking about purchasing…Are you able to separate the blog by disabling the ajax? I would like to be able to have a single scrolling page for my main content and a separate blog area. Is this possible?

Yes this is an option in the theme options panel.
This theme is not a true One Pager because neither sliders or embedded videos are viewable in prettyphoto. You have to go to a separate page to view them, therefore the whole “one pager” aspect is gone.
I wish I would have known this before I invested time in customizing the theme and preparing my material.
This doesn’t make sense. Prettyphoto is already a slideshow and you can in fact view videos through prettyPhoto.
Please read the documentation and use our forum before posting an inaccurate review of the theme.
Prettyphoto by itself is a very useful tool, but your integration in this theme does not permit embedding videos into it. You say it yourself right here in your Forum : “If you’re referring to the pretty photo (lightbox) then this does not link to videos. Only project details displays the video.”

Don’t get me wrong, you’ve created a great and beautiful theme, but it’s not a real “one pager portfolio” when you have to go to a “project detail page” to view a video or multiple images of a project.
No, that thread is referring to linking portfolio hover links to prettyPhoto videos. You can easily use prettyPhoto to display videos, just not with this specific link.
Furthermore, project items are not loaded separately. They are AJAX’ed into the page dynamically allowing users to access project information without changing pages.
The fact that portfolio items, any page, and any post type can be viewed from the homepage does make it a ‘true one-pager.’
Hey! I just love your theme, but I can’t make up my mind if I should pick your template or SCRN… I would choose your template if you can make it possible to fit in 5-7 portfolio images per row instead of 3, and also, make it work for mobile devices, so when you click once on a portfolio item the name pops up and the second time it follows the link. There is already an option for 5 columns but there are a couple threads on the forum discussing how to make it more if you like.
The portfolio items should already be functioning this way on mobile devices, did you have a different experience?

I just bought this theme! and I installed in my wordpress. but when I tried to activate this theme, the site is met ‘server error!!’
My wordpress is MU. I installed the theme in Network Admin, and I activated this theme in one of my wordpress. Is it compatible with Wordpress MU?
