Hi there,
A quick pre-sales question. Once purchased, would it be possible for me to have the default layout (http://themeforest.net/item/quickstep-responsive-one-page-portfolio-theme/full_screen_preview/3237426) but with a permanent menu top right? I know that some of my clients would intuitively look for a menu on the home page, as well as the other page.

Yes, that is possible. There are a number of menu options available in the admin panel.
I’ve got one final question; Is it possible in the theme options to have a vertical menu? And if not, is it difficult to customize this yourself? Thanks again!
This isn’t an option in the back-end but it wouldn’t be terribly hard. It really depends on how you want to style the menu. If you purchase, I’ll offer some guidance in the forum.

Hi – I have couple questions before purchasing this theme.
For the ‘portfolio grid’ – Is there a way to customize the hover state? 1. How the hover state looks? 2. More importantly I only want the single grid item to bring the user to the portfolio (currently there are two touch targets clicking on image brings up light box, and clicking on the caption expands the portfolio. I would like to replace clicking on the image to just expand the portfolio) 3. Is there going to be a bug fix for when the portfolio expands the scroll position is incorrect (Not displaying the top of the portfolio item)?

1. You can change the opacity, but there aren’t any other specific options in the theme options panel. If you have something in mind, you can ask on the forum (we just gave someone an option for a grayscale that uses color when hovered)
2. This is an option in the theme options panel.
3. Yes, this was a bug created by our latest release. It should be fixed within a day or two.

Hi everyone, I bought the theme Quickstep and I need to know How to add more templates such as the ones that are already (fullwith,blog, etc..) As I was looking I make a template-page-about.php and inside an include to my about but It doesnt work. I choose into the admin panel on the page about the template about but nothing happen, I take out all the div to see if it was working… But nothing.. Anyone that could help me please?

Hi, don’t know how to find my purchase code to join the support forum for my question.. I’ve given up!!! Anyways, I’ve purchased the theme and wish to install a ecommerce plugin to allow users to purchase three products with 4 variants for each to choose before adding to cart. My questions is.. Is it possible to add the products to the pages? The theme puts all posts (such as blog posts and products pages) as the last page on the theme. I can not change the way this function works. Also, apparently the theme does not allow for the catalog page to appear properly on the “One page” setup.

Hi, is parallax effect only available on the first picture is there any way to use it through out the page?
You can set background position and attachments for each individual page. You can also upload unique background images for each page.

Yes, you can. If you look in the demo portfolio section you’ll notice a couple of the items are videos if you click on the title of the portfolio item.
WHOA this really IS an amazing Theme! #winWIN Just one thing, as mobile view is BIG deal for me (iphone) GRT Menu drop down, but when I click a page the Menu stays scrolled down and it doesn’t go to any page? All else seems to work and look perfect. If I build for a client would they be able to edit the basics pretty easily (can’t tell how pages are built.. not shortcodes? or drag and drop or..?) Plz let me know and will be the next theme on my list GRT work -Sterling
The pages are created through page templates and shortcodes. Demo content is included to help you get started and everything is outline pretty thoroughly in the documentation.
As for the menu, I have not seen this issue, but I’ll be happy to look into it. What mobile device and platform were you using?
iPhone 5… but I just checked again and it Flows Perfect now!! srry, don’t know why didn’t seem to before (one thing, anyway i could add MENU in that mobile menu tab?)... REALLY luv this Theme!! GRT WORK n plz let me know about Menu THNKS and is on my list of next to purchase (will show my next client your demo)

Hi EricTe, thanks for bringing this up but unfortunately prettyPhoto does not offer this as an ability. There is an option to turn this off however and simply use the regular project item pages.
No way to add on the fly a rel=”prettyPhoto[data-filter]” with the user selected data-filter?
Great point! I figured the prettyPhoto cache was generated on page load but it seems this could work. Will plan on adding it to the next update.

I’m having trouble with my “heading font”. It’s on default (which I like the most) but when I transfered all my files to my primary directory, everything worked except the heading for the Font.

Really enjoying the theme, thank you for your work on it. I was wondering if there’s a way to display team members on two rows? We have 6 members and setting means that their description text is squashed into a long, thin area, which is not ideal. Nor do I want to hide any team members by using a carousel/scrolling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
