ITEM DISCUSSION

Show Comments By

Hi,

This is really amazing theme and I like it.

I’ve put a contact form in one page, but when I click send button instead of getting result note I forwarded to homepage!

So, the question is how can I tweak this theme to show proper message after submitting contact form?

is there an html version on the way? looks mega!

@silvercover: I’ve exactly the same problem. I’m using Contact Form 7, if you (or someone else) figure out how to solve this, please post.

Any idea how to widgetize the miniposts, anyone?

Great theme, I’d just like to see more support from the author to his clients (although it’s my first post here).

cheers

There are a few issues with this theme, the css selectors should be more targeted so that i can style lists inside the posts. If i try to add styling to the lists it messes up the nav, adding classes to the lists in the post doesnt go down well with wordpress. There is no padding on the container for the posts so you end up with text running right to the edge of the box and it looks a mess. I ended up copying out a static version of the page wordpress generated and using that so that i could fix all the issues. I wouldnt buy this theme again knowing what i know now.

Great looking theme. But the padding is an issue. Any fix for this? It doesn’t look good with text or photos going all the way to the edge of the screen. Thanks!

Okay – I haven’t received any response on the padding issue. Anyone who buys this template will have this problem – anyway I have a temporary workaround for those who are not a super css or html gurus. I noticed on the live demo html the author has margin tags in front of everything – so all I did is in wordpress admin edit post, I clicked the html tab above the post and added p tags in front of each paragraph, i.e.

Blah blah blah – your text or image here

If you need to fine tune this – there are other margin options you can look up by googling padding and css. This adds a little space in the “box” after whatever text or image it goes around. By adding a little space to the right of everything it looks a lot better.

So this kindof fixes issue – but it is a pain – hope the author has a better solution. Hope that helps anyone who is having the same trouble.

To sort the padding issue

Open the Stylesheet style.css

And change this

.content .panelContainer p{margin-bottom:10px;}

to

.content .panelContainer p{margin-bottom:10px;padding-right:10px}

This will fix it. I have just bought the theme and done this and it works for me

Hope this helps…

I have added panels fine and even a form. But I can’t get lists to work. Is there a work around. I have added them visually and hand coded, they appear working fine in the control panel but not showing on the site.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hello,

I purchased this theme and am having issues with plugins. I have added the php wp_head tag at the ‘head’ section of index.php but still cannot manage to get plugins to work. What I was looking for was a Twitter plugin like Twitter Tools to add to the “mini posts” and also a Flickr Gallery plugin (that doesn’t require API ) to work inside a panel. Help?

Fixed Height bug should be mentioned in the product description

ClarkLab, I recently emailed you requesting a fix for the “fixed height” bug which was first requested by VizeMedia on page 2 of this thread (5 months ago). My site has one post that is significantly longer than the others but your theme makes all the posts the same enormous length which looks awful. I was disappointed that you couldn’t give me any guarantees as to when or even if you would provide a fix. The theme is useless to me in its current state so I requested a refund from ThemeForest. I didn’t think a fix or a refund was much to ask but unfortunately they did. So I shelled out for something I can’t use. Great.

As another customer has already pointed out, if you are not prepared to fix this problem, you should at least state the theme’s limitation in the product’s description. That way, customers will not waste their money.

Hi, has anyone been able to add a blog page to this theme?

I’m just about to purchase, when I realised I can’t see this option…

if anyone has done it already…send us a link please…

I’ve emailed the author a few times and never received a response on this..I also need to add the blogging feature to a page on the site but can’t figure it out. I just need the ability to add posts regulary, with dates and allow users to comment on them. I figured this was all built into the wordpress template, but I guess I was wrong?

Great Theme, simple and light, very customizable! Here’s my rendition:

www.yourpowerright.com

However, it seems to mess up the permalink structures..I see a lot of questions here in the comments but no solutions. Author please…

Envato should set a time limit on answers by authors. I think if there’s no answer within, say, a month, then the theme should be flagged as “no support”.

Just finished the site, but am having no luck getting my google analytics module to work correctly with the theme. I looked through the other site examples from others who have used this and none of them have analytics tags in their source code. If anyone knows how to get this working, it would be greatly appreciated.
