Hi, Before purchasing, does it possible to add a “related works/projects” on the bottom of each single portfolio page ? with any WP plugin available ? THX
Hi there, Radius doesn’t have anything like that by default, but perhaps you could find a plugin to do that. There are a bunch of plugins that do related posts.
Mike
thx !
Does your theme support WPML ? THX
Hi there, I haven’t tested Radius with WPML in particular, but it does come with translation files. Should work, since Radius doesn’t use any crazy code that would prevent it from not working, but as always, we can’t guarantee 100% compatibility because of the many variables in users setups and hosting.
Mike
Hi Mike,
Would it be possible to get access to a PSD file of the picture with PC on landing page?
Thx
Hi there, Unfortunately I don’t have a PSD for that, I just made it as a flat image in Photoshop. However, there are tons of sites with similar Apple device PSD’s available. Just do a Google search for “iMac PSD” and you should find plenty.
Mike
Hi Mike, thx for you feedback. I’ll try to find something. On the other hand, I have a small bug with portfolio section. I do not get the same filtering structure as you have in the how-to video, which by the way is great. The missing part is that I can not get my categories to show up, and my blog posts go in portfolio section as well. How should I proceed. Best, ED
Hi there, Hop on the forum and post a link and we’ll take a look!

Hi Mike,
Loving the theme, beautiful clean style just how I like them, I was wondering how hard would it be to add a few simple pages such as ’’About’’ .. ’’Services’’ and so on.
Hi, It really all depends on your familiarity with WordPress. However, adding simple pages is pretty simple! Just like adding any other page really. There aren’t specific templates for these pages, they just use the default page template.
Mike
First off, nice theme! Loving it….I just have 2 pre-purchase questions:
1. When testing on my iPhone 5, there are some glitches when viewing in landscape mode. You can’t scroll left or right on the slider (as you can in portrait mode) and you can’t even hit the buttons to switch between sliders. Also, it doesn’t always scroll up/down if the slider is taking up the screen. I tried only in Safari on 2 iPhone 5s and got the same behavior from the demo preview. Is this issue going to be addressed?
2. I’m looking to update the theme to my current website, but have hundreds of posts. How does this theme handle importing posts via a plugin or backup service?
Thanks!
Hi there, I’ll check out the issues you suggested on iPhone landscape. They will be updated when Radius is updated with new gallery features in a week or two.
Radius imports posts with WordPress’s default post import plugin, seen here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-importer/
Mike
Could you please provide a link to the screen casts that explains the theme setup.
Thanks.
Yup! http://themes.okaythemes.com/docs/radius/
Mike
Hi. I’m interesting to buy your theme… I like it!
I would like to know if it is possible to add a form for “Search The Portfolio” in the Portfolio Page (for example under the “filter-bar clearfix”) to have the ability to search for a specific project using keywords.
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Hi there, Unfortunately there isn’t an easy way to add a search just for the portfolio!
Mike
OK, thanks!
I have a doubt. I noticed that the images of each project are arranged horizontally. Can be inserted images arranged vertically? Thanks in advance and best regards.
Hi, The layout on the demo is the only one Radius comes with. If you wanted to list them out vertically, you’d have to modify the theme.
Mike
Ok, thanks for the reply. Changing this setting can be done with simple operations? When I buy the tamplate you will offer information through this blog? Thanks in advance!
Hi, You can’t easily change the layout with a setting, no. You would have to change code to get the layout how you want.
We offer some help setting up the theme, but we can’t help you customize it.
Mike
Hi there! I upgraded “Options Framework” to 1.5 and all of the thumbnails for my blog (the featured image) disappeared on the website.
Hi, It looks like this is a known problem and the developer is currently working on a fix. You can download the last version (1.4) to fix the problem for now.
Mike
Thanks Mike. Do you know if the latest update (I think it’s 1.5.2) fixes the issue? Thanks so much for your support!
Looks like it was fixed with 1.5.2! https://github.com/devinsays/options-framework-plugin/issues/146
Mike
Thank you SO much for your support Mike. I just updated and it’s working great now!
Hi Mike, A few pre-purchase questions:
1) In the “portfolio item” page, is it possible to modify the name “Project Details” and change it to something else? 2) Also under “Project Details,” is it possible to add in more information besides what’s already there in the demo (author, date, tags, etc.)?
Amazing theme by the way!
Hi, It really all depends on what you mean by ‘is it possible.’ It’s not possible via a theme option or setting in the admin. It’s something you’d have to change in the theme itself.
Same goes for adding more content. If you know how to modify themes, you can certainly add whatever information you’d like into that area! I would suggest modifying with a child theme if you plan on making changes.
Hope that helps!
Mike
home page slider has stopped working on Chrome browser with the latest chrome update. can you look into that?
Hi, Looks fine on my end. I have the latest Chrome browser and checked OSX and Windows.
Mike
Mike, tried multiple internet connections. the home page slider is not working in Chrome or FF. this was fine 2 weeks ago. I am checking this url: http://themes.okaythemes.com/radius/ FYI, i see this error message in JS Console: ReferenceError: onTouchStart is not defined
Mike the problem is the screen resolution. I think it is trying to load the tablet version on my small screen laptop (13”) . it is fine on larger monitors.
Hi, If you hop on the forum we can take a look in detail. We don’t have any users reporting issues with the slider on any size desktop, so it may be something with your setup.
http://okaythemes.com/supportMike
Mike, I have a touch-enabled laptop. i think my laptop tries to load the tablet version. i can touch and swipe the sliders, but can’t use the mouse to slide. anyway, the issue probably does not effect too many users.
How can I set the default Portfolio image/slider size on the portfolio post (the individual post, not the overview) the the 940px width instead of full-width? That would be easier than always adding the custom field “slider = sized”.
If I can change that in the code somewhere, please point me to where I can change it.
Thanks. Love the theme otherwise.
Hi, In your Custom CSS tab in the theme options, you could add the following:
.gallery-wrap {width: 940px;}Mike
.flexslider {max-width: 940px; margin: 0 auto;}Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Excellent! Glad you got it sorted out.
Mike
One thing before I buy the theme. Is the slider supposed to autoscroll thru the images in the demo on themeforest? I tried it in chrom and safari and it is just the static image. I can click thru the images, but it won’t automatically fade thru. Also, what are the options for the slider if that is what it is? Transitions, speed? Is it possible to see more demo’s of this site with the slider? I have been looking for a template that is a full screen slider with a scrollable homepage. This may be the site I’ve been looking for for some time. Thanks.
Hi, The slider is set to be static by default. You’d have to modify the code to make it autoplay. Same goes for the rest of the slider settings. The theme uses flexslider, which has those options, but I’ve chosen not to include them in the theme options.
Mike
Is there a way to make the slider on the homepage auto-rotate?
Not via the settings, you’d have to modify the theme to do that. I may implement this in the upcoming recode!
Mike
That would be great and very useful for many people that use this theme! When will the next upgrade be released?
Which slider did you use for this theme so I can look into if I can modify it in the code for now?
It’s using Flexslider, and it should be fairly simple to add the auto-rotate feature in if you know just a little code. The javascript is in /includes/js/custom/custom.js

Thanks!
If there a way to sort through ALL of the portfolio items when a category is selected? Right now I can only sort through the portfolio items for that page.
Also once you’ve sorted and you change the page in the portfolio it resets the filter.
I can see how both of the issues can be very confusing for my potential clients.
Hi, Currently there is not a way to sort through all, unless you increase the number of portfolio items on the page so that you’re showing all portfolio items.
I’m actually in the middle of a huge recode of Radius, and this is one of the things that’s on my list to fix. So if you can come up with a temporary fix that works for you, I’ll have something officially available in a week or two.
Mike
Thanks for the really quick response!! I’m looking forward to the recode!!
Do you know off hand the quick way to set it to show all of the portfolio items on the same page?
Sure! You can open up portfolio.php and change any instance of
showposts' => 12to a higher number. You could probably set it to 100 to bring in all of your posts.Mike
Awesome! That was easy! Thanks again!
Before I purchase, I’m wondering if we can have multiple portfolio pages (as dropdowns from the main menu bar at the top) to showcase different types of work? Also is there a limit to the number of items on the portfolio pages?
Hi, Currently you cannot, but I’m working on a new version of Radius which will be easier to do something like this. Stay tuned!
Mike
Do you have a timeline on this…I’d like to wait for it but dont have a lot of time. What is the total number of items on the portofolio page allowed right now? Thanks!
I’d say I’m about 75% done, but I still have to make new docs, etc. If you’re in a rush, maybe go ahead with another theme!
Right now the portfolio shows 12 per page.
Mike
I’m very dissapointed. The theme doesn’t work on WP 3.5 or WP 3.5.1.
This presente a lot of errors, most of them about deprecated function. I really likes this theme, this is the reason because I buy it. Now, I’m stressed and my website is still down.
Hi, Radius does work with 3.5 and 3.5.1! There are no known issues with either version of WordPress. Hop on the forum and let us know what your issue is and we’ll get you fixed up!

Hi Mike,
Browsing through this site reminds me of the old Springsteen song, 57 Channels (and nothin’ on).
And then there’s the themes you produce. You’re like a beacon of light, the themes are clean coded, look great and can genuinely be called art.
This is the first theme I’ve purchased from you but it most certainly won’t be the last, in fact I’m on my way over to buy Pockets right now, just wanted to stop by give you 5 stars and say thanks.
To everyone else who’s reading through the comments to see whether they should buy this or one of Mike’s other themes, stop hesitating and just go do it. You won’t regret it I assure you and designers like Mike are well worth supporting. Use them or lose them.
Thanks for your kind words! We really appreciate the support. Do you mind if I use your words on the new Okay site as a testimonial?
Mike
Sure thing Mike.
I did go over and buy Pocket afterwards and I’m glad I did, even topped up with your Radar plugin and again I’m more than happy, it has been money well spent.
Best of luck with the new site.
John
That’s awesome, John! Feel free to stop by the forum any time with questions, we’re glad to help. http://okaythemes.com/support
If you have a small picture of yourself that would be great, we’ll use it along with the quote!
Mike
Hello, a question concerning a portfolio page. Does the theme support embedded soundcloud (or another audio) player, instead of having a embedded video or image slider. Thank you
Hi, you could definitely add another kind of iframe embed. Just paste in Soundcloud instead of Vimeo, etc.
Mike
Awesome thanks for your reply, your theme is on my shortlist
Not many themes that use the available screen space properly like yours.
Sounds good! Let me know if you have any more questions.
Mike
Hey Mike, For some reason setting a portfolio post to “full-width” slider or “not full-width” is not an option on the post page. Is there another place I can specify. I am trying to have some posts be full-width and others not.
I tried inserting .flexslider {max-width: 940px; margin: 0 auto;} into the custom css, but unfortunately it makes the homepage slider not full-width and I want that be full.
Thanks, Leta
Hi Leta, Please hop on the forum and post this and we’ll take a look!
