Love the theme. However, I feel that the Disqus comments on the “Ask” page are a bit redundant. How can I remove the Disqus comment form from only the “Ask” page?

Thank you.

Thank you for purchasing my theme John. :)

I have looked into this before but I’m not sure if it can be done. I’ll have another look and include it in the next update if it can be done.

Thanks! :D

I am attempting to post a photo set. Yet when I upload more that one photo in the editor, nothing appears when I publish it, not even the caption.

When I use only one photo for the post, everything is fine. Only when I try to create a photo set does it fail.

Help?

ChristineWilde

Hey John,

Rapture is due an update very soon and I’ll add this to the bug list. I’m hoping to get this done over the weekend, I have one other theme that is half way through an update at the moment.

I will add this to the bug list. Thank you. :D

After looking through the html, I noticed there was no markup for Photosets. I will look forward to your update. I have added the appropriate code in the meantime.

ChristineWilde

Yeah I thought that would be the issue, I’ll add that in and update the theme. Thanks :)

Hello ! Nice template! How to put the link of archive ? Thx

ChristineWilde

Hi dekovince,

Thank you for purchasing my theme. :)

The link to the Archive is in the footer. Or did you want it in the main navigation?

Thanks, Christine

Hello. Is the PSD for the theme included as well? I would like to know prior to purchasing. Thank you! Great Work!!

ChristineWilde

Email just sent with PSDs attached! :)

Thanks again!

Got it. Fantastic! Thanks a lot. You are very talented!

ChristineWilde

Thank you Ash! Glad you like the theme. If you have any more enquiries please don’t hesitate to get in contact. :)

I am referring to the PSD for the sliders specifically. Thanks!

Like the theme and bought it. but for some reason, when I enable it, I dont get ask, submit and home in the header. something I’m doing wrong here?

I havent told you today how awesome you are! Thanks.

:)

one last thing. what are the dimensions in pixels for the title in the header. need a jazzy new logo to complete the look.

ChristineWilde

No worries! :) The size of the logo on the live preview is 250px by 100px. Don’t forget to rate the theme. :p

Hello Christine ^^ i like this theme. Can I change the color of header ? will you update the mark of photosets? Thanks :)

Default-user

Hello. I have sent you an email. :) Sorry for confusing you. :( I mean the mark of photosets is icon of photosets. If i uploaded many photos in one post (photosets), the icon is video’s icon for video posting, not image’s/photo’s icon. Can you help me? Thanks a lot, Christine :)

ChristineWilde

Hey,

I just noticed your email. I reply to your question in my reply. :)

Thank You ~ wow.. your response is fast ^^. I will try then.

Christine – Nice theme. BUT , I have one big problem. I was planning on using Rapture on my EXISTING Tumblr but have a problem with image size. My existing Tumblr blog displays images 500px wide. I assumed (very new to Tumblr) that if a theme like Rapture displays a smaller image that those images already uploaded to Tumblr would be automatically resized for the new theme. That’s not happening, when I use Rapture – the images are still 500px wide and overflow the container. QUESTION : Is that just the way it works (meaning I need to resize all my images and repost, not realistic) – is this a bug – OR operator error?

My Tumblr is http://www.tumblr.com/blog/panamanotes

Hope I’m doing something wrong or their is an easy fix, because I really like your theme.

Thanks

Steve

PS: Tried contacting you via email but did not receive a response. Perhaps your email host doesn’t like email originating in Panama?

Christine – Update: After some additional testing the loss of PrettyPhoto functionality does NOT occur due to the “sizing” CSS you provided – it does its job, except for the unwanted aspect change for video posts. It appears that any photo imported to Tumblr via Posterous contains SOMETHING that disables PrettyPhoto.

So . . . it looks like the only solution, which gives me PrettyPhoto, is to renter the posts directly into Tumblr. Don’t really want to do that, but unless my troubleshooting is coming to the wrong conclusion OR you have a MAGIC solution – I think the issue is dead.

Another question: Can the post container be made wider and the sidebar narrower, without a major overhaul of the code?

One last thing (he said, smiling) might you have a CSS snippet to make the page navigation names (Home, Contact, etc.) larger?

Thanks

Steve

ChristineWilde

Hey Steve,

Your blog is looking good! :D

Unfortunately Posterous imports code that overwrites the code that tells PrettyPhoto to work in the theme. I’m not familiar with Posterous, is there any way you can stop it from importing the code?

To increase the height of videos, remove height: auto; from the code I said to add. Then add in the following code underneath:

.posterous_autopost img { height: auto; }

That should give the videos more height. It worked with height: suto the other day but now doesn’t want to. :s

To change the size of the navigation links find .page a on line 831 and there you will find font-size: 12px. Change this size to what ever you like to increase the size of the nav links.

Hope all of that makes sense! :)

Christine – I’m guessing that you might go into shock if someone actually used your theme and didn’t “muck it up” with all of our great modifications – thanks for being so patient and helpful.

Will let you know when the site is “live” so you see the finished product.

Steve

Great ‘n slick design! Keep up the good work! ;)

Decided to take a little break from tweaking the look of my Tumblr and do something simple – implement Disqus comments. The problem (seems like it’s always something) Disqus ONLY appears on my “Contact” page (where I don’t want it) and is absent from my “posts” where I want to use the system. Would try to troubleshoot the problem, but don’t really know where to start – suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

ChristineWilde

Hey Steve,

Sorry to hear your having some problems with the theme. With the Rapture theme you can just put your DisQus shortname into the Appearance panel DisQus Shortname text box. If you are still having problems then please email me. :)

hello, Christine. i have problem with my theme now. 1. I dont know my disqus comment has not shown up in the page/tumblr. And i have filled in/inserted my disqus shortname in appearance panel. Can you help me fixing this problem? 2. Can the image which i uploaded to tumblr for Text post, autoresize itself ? Sometimes, i upload with bigger size (esp bigger width image), it is overflowing in boxes text posting. Thank you so much for your help :)

ChristineWilde

Hello! :bashfulcute:

Have you edited the html since entering your DisQus name? There is a bug with Tumblr at the moment where it wipes all of your customise settings from the Appearance panel. I’ve tried getting hold of Tumblr but they never reply. :stress:

Usually when people add images to a post they create a Photo Post. I didn’t think people would insert images within a text post, sorry. I will look into this bug and update the theme as soon as possible. If you would like me to get a fix over to you sooner then please email me a link to your post and I’ll send over a fix! :D

Thanks, Christine

The look of your Theme is super. But I have a question. Can I create a lot of pages like on my blog here ? http://latanieredecyberwolf.tumblr.com/

If yes, probably I will purchase your theme.

PS Sorry for my English, I speak french.

Cyber_wolf22

ChristineWilde

Hi Cyber_wolf, Thank you for asking about the Rapture theme. As you have so many pages I can add in the drop down menu that I have used on the Glide Tumblr theme. I will add this into the next update, which I’ll try to get out this weekend.

Your english is fine by the way. :)

Thank for answer me quickly !

I have another question, the share button Pinterest and Google + are disponible ?

Thank again. :)

Cyber_wolf22

ChristineWilde

Hello again,

I’m not quite sure what you mean by disponible. The ShareThis button links shown underneath each post can be customised, removed or added. You can also add your own buttons by using this website: http://www.sharethis.com

I can assist you with anything you need a hand with setting up once you have purchased the theme. :)

Thank a lot for your help. I purchased your theme because I very appreciate it. I would need probably some help but I’m very happy ! :)

ChristineWilde

Thank you for purchasing my theme. :)

If you need any help with the theme just send me a message through my profile page.

Hey Loving the theme so far. The fact that I have to resize all my pics is a bit of a problem but not too bad.

My question (might be a kinda noob one) I am struggling to get my Flickr feeds to work. Can you please help me out. I must be using the wrong coding or something. Only started blogging now. My blog. http://christodup.tumblr.com/

Thanks Christo

ChristineWilde

Hey Chris,

I’m glad your loving the theme! :)

What images are you having to resize? Also what link are you putting in the Flickr Feed link box when customising the theme?

I have to most of my pics. The slider, banner and even the posts.

I use the one right at the bottom of my Flickr page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/christodp/ this one http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?id=66247883@N07&lang=en-us&format=rss_200

Thanks for the reply

ChristineWilde

Hey Chris, That link works fine for me. I tested it on the Rapture live preview. It does take a while for the images to load for the first time. I will be updating the Flickr feed in the next update as it doesn’t work on iPad or iPhone and I will be making the theme responsive. Thanks,
Christine

Hello, I love your theme…but just a question. How you can archive your posts, or make a better next page – like 1,2,3 etc. At this time I have a link to never posts, how ever, they are older..lol.. can you let me know please. Thanks a bunch,Sabine

ChristineWilde

Hi Sabine,

Thank you for purchasing the Rapture theme. :)

If you could send me a link to your blog that would be much appreciated and I can then work on a solution for you. This theme will be getting an update soon with a responsive design and some fixes so I can add this in to the update as well.

Thanks,
Christine

Hey Christine,

I purchased the theme from you in February and have been LOVING it! I just had a quick question on the updates. You have been saying since I purchased in February that it’s due for an update, and I noticed that the themeforest sidebar for this theme says it was updated on July 20, 2012. Just curious if there is a changelog somewhere that might show the updates? Also, several of the links on here link to to rapturetheme.tumblr.com which no longer exists?

Thanks! Love the theme!

ChristineWilde

Hi Vicantrell,

I’m glad your still loving the theme. I’ve recently changed the links to all my themes to include ‘wildemedia’ so I can make sure the name I choose is available. Thank you for letting me know about the broken links.

I’ve not actually updated the theme for a while so I’m not sure why it says the 20th July. I’m just fine tuning the Optic theme then ALL themes will be getting an overhaul and update.

Is there anything you would like added to the theme?

Thanks,
Christine

Hi Christine, thanks for your reply, I got it work that the archive is on the top: http://handmadetarts.tumblr.com/ Still need the code for pages. Have a nice day, Sabine
ChristineWilde

Hi Sabine, If you could email me through my profile page just so I have a contact email that would be great. Then I can send over the code to add in the better navigation.

Thanks,
Christine
