The Real Estate theme is a theme for use in WordPress installs to create a dynamic, content managed site for clients in the real estate business. It’s simple to install and like all WordPress themes very customizable.

The theme allows you to create property listings of two types – Buying and Leasing – each with a details and listing page. Additionally you can create pages like this one to hold general content and submenus so that the site is largely extensible.

i forgot to ask something Collis, can i also create new pages? And can i create a page that as a contact form? I usually work in wordpress 2.7, and i know some programming… I just want to be ready for what i may going to buy soon. Cheers

This is a fantastic theme but for two things both relating to images. It is a bit of a hassle to have to upload images separate from making the property details post, and then having to copy and paste the code.

But my main gripe is that I can only upload a single image with each listing. I am trying to implement Shadowbox JS plugin to work with this theme. I see from an earlier thread someone has managed to get it to work with Next Gen gallery but it’s not clear where to amend the code.

Can anyone tell me how I might look to amend the code to all me to use the Shadowbox gallery plugin.

I f I can solve this then I think this is probably the best real estate theme on the market!

Hi OnlineD,

Shadow Box plug-in works fine with me. I activate the plug-in and i only have to add on the anchor tag rel=”shadowbox”. On the posts this works fine, but on the index page i don’t know how to apply it, because on this page the html code isn’t working properly. I like very much this template, BUT there is something that is making it not perfect. The “property details” shouldn’t be named like this, but with name of the post !... Right ? Otherwise we forgot what are we seeing… we have to scroll down the page to see what is the name of the post.

“Property Details” really should be replaced… Any tip for doing this???

    Hi collis,

    Can I use this template for other purposes, with static content, blog, contact form, e-commerce, etc. I do not wish to use for real estates, but I really liked the template and is just perfect for what I want.

    Is there something specific for real estate within the code?

    Please help me!

    Hi again,

    I have solved all my problems and my doubts about this template. I managed a very good work with css, and now my template isn’t recognisable comparing to the original.

    I removed the price, the properties of the “house”, expanded the text to full width, and it’s working great in all major browsers.

    Collis, you really should answer to the questions people ask you.

    I bought a second template of yours and you didn’t gave me any feedback when i needed. We are not buying a template like this for fun, it’s to sell a website for a client!

    If i didn’t new some coding i would be very mad with you, because the template that i’ve bought would became useless for me.

    Fortunately it didn’t happen.

    For anyone who is having a problem with this theme where the css and images don’t seem to work. You need to change the permissions on the re_theme directory so it is the same as other theme directories. In other words, the permissions should be set to:

    755 rwxr-xr-x

    I just purchased this theme and am currently setting it up. Love the theme, but I’m a bit dissappointed to see that Collis is not responding to many of the support questions here.

    I see menu correctly here I dont see menu correctly from here With Modzilla 3.0.1 dosnt show menu correctly, what can be the solution? Tryed to upload all files again, but its not this the problem. In IE7 and Safari works also!
