Hello. I am unable to edit the style.css file. The theme installed correctly and is working fine but when I go to the Editor under appearance and select the style.css file I only see a blank page. Please advise.

Hi!., In some domains due to the permission problem of the files, the editor might not work. But you can always edit the style sheet directly connecting to the FTP. Kindly, check it!

I don’t have much experience with servers and FTP but I’ll give it a shot.

Also, how is one able to change the content in the “Top Right” section of the Top Bar?

And finally, is it possible to change the appearance of the Mail Chimp form? The default one is pretty bare bones and most likely will not result in many users subscribing.

Thanks for the assistance.

1) You can edit the top bar content from the file wp-content/themes/realproperty/framework/headers/top_menu.php

2) Regarding mailchimp widget that is one we have by default. If you need to change, then you need it to customize it from the file wp-content/themes/realproperty/framework/theme_widgets/mailchimp.php

How can I sort the order of the Search Results page according to the ‘design number’ (low to high)? The page is currently posting according to the recent published time (new to old).

I am not sure of what to do, but what I read from this support thread on what to do (mostly from rambi70’s thread):

1. Create custom field ‘design number’ https://www.dropbox.com/s/2vskyg8i4a2fuum/custom-text-box.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/u1hw4ikbfd9yuhs/save-custom-text-box-value.png

2. Change this code in tpl-property-search.php to: $properties = array( ‘post_type’=>’dt_properties’, ‘posts_per_page’=>$post_per_page, ‘paged’=>$paged, ‘tax_query’=>array(), ‘meta_query’=>array(), ‘order’ => ‘DESC’, ‘orderby’=> ‘meta_value_num’, ‘meta_key’ => ‘_design_number’);

Please guide on what to do. Thanks in advance!

Hi!., You mean you want to sort the properties based on price? ( low to high) then please change the code in wp-content/themes/realproperty/tpl-property-search.php in line 117.

$properties = array( ‘post_type’=>’dt_properties’, ‘posts_per_page’=>$post_per_page, ‘paged’=>$paged, ‘tax_query’=>array(), ‘meta_query’=>array(),

‘orderby’=> ‘meta_value_num’, ‘meta_key’ => ‘_property_price’, ‘order’ => ‘asc’);

I want to sort the properties based on a ‘Design Number’ or numerical system. Not the property price.

Is the implementation similar to rambi70’s thread (page 15, first comment), where he needs a custom field for the ‘year the property is built’.

The custom field is not needed to be in the Search Container. The Search Results page just have to be sorted according to the property’s custom field “Design Number” (e.g. 115.2).

Please correct me if I am wrong in the sequence (as I’m not a php programmer). 1. Create custom field ‘Design Number’ > _property_design_number https://www.dropbox.com/s/2vskyg8i4a2fuum/custom-text-box.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/u1hw4ikbfd9yuhs/save-custom-text-box-value.png 2. Sort the page by ‘Design Number’ $properties = array( ‘post_type’=>’dt_properties’, ‘posts_per_page’=>$post_per_page, ‘paged’=>$paged, ‘tax_query’=>array(), ‘meta_query’=>array(), ‘orderby’=> ‘meta_value_num’, ‘meta_key’ => ‘_property_design_number’, ‘order’ => ‘asc’);

Will this work?

Yes it will work…

Hello again, is there any video how to set up the front page with shortcodes? or maybe there is a demo admin panel?

Once you install our dummy data, you can have all the pages built automatically for you. Just you can change the content and update it.

Your theme is perfect and I want to purchase…

But there is just ONE thing that would make a drastic difference.

When you view your theme on a mobile device, the top black menu only displays “Login” and not the phone number…

It is crucial for a responsive website to make the phone number extremely easy to find… and that would be the perfect spot! Right next to “Login.”

If you make this change I would purchase your theme immediately.

Hope to hear back from you on this… Would love to purchase your theme.

The phone number is now displayed in responsive mode. Please check it. If you have that issue after you purchase, let us know so that we can update it for you

That is awesome. As promised, purchasing your theme right now.

It is impressive that you were willing to listen to feedback and decide to make a change the quick.

Looking forward to using your theme.

Hello, something is going on with the fonts/typography. My default (black) font colors are now gray and certain fonts are appearing strangely. For example, the text in testimonials and the subtitles in call out boxes are pixelated and missing parts of some letters. For instance, the vertical line in “e” does not appear.

Also, no additional plugins or add ons were added that might produce font conflicts. Everything is up to date and the rendering appeared fine this morning.

Edit: horizontal lines in fonts are not appearing. Only our website and your theme demo seem to be affected. All other websites across all browsers are rendering perfectly.

We checked our demo site as well as your site and we cannot see any issues with the font and typography. The default colors of the testimonial section is grey only. You have used a span tag to change the color to black in it. Also we cannot see any fonts to be pixilated in the callout boxes. Let us know your issue with some screenshot, so that we can help you better.

Just purchased your theme. Overall loving it.

However, I am editing a page and want to use Layer Slider. I already had LayerSlider installed.

When I choose Layer Slider a message pops underneath it saying “Please activate Layered Slider”

It is activated. I have even tried deleting the pulgin and reinstalling it.

Still getting the same message.

It is installed. Activated. And I have a slider created.

You guys gotta fix this….

Having to change the theme’s files to change the phone number is terrible.

Also, while you are addressing that, it would be great if you provide the option to hide “Dashboard” and/or “Add Property.” in the same top nav bar.

I don’t want users of my website to have access to these… and it is not made easy to make go away.

If you would address this… I would rate 5 stars…
