Fantastic continuing support, mate. Another quick question for you: I’m trying to load up a social sharing plugin with counters for my posts, but no matter which plugin or settings I use it gets put on my front page above, rather than my chosen position of under, each post. Any advice there? Seems to be something built into the theme that is loading the social buttons along with the post title.
Thanks!
Heya Delta – I’m actually not sure on this one since this’ll all be entirely on the side of the plugin creator… the theme uses the standard loading principles though

I am looking for an events calendar with an admin panel that would be able to resize within this theme. I’ve previously used the Events Calendar Pro plugin, but that plugin itself does not have responsive functionality. Do you have any suggestions for an events calendar similar to that one that would work well with the Reason WP theme?
Heya Jason! Sooooo, ECP support is coming in June, so hang tight. I’m actually working with the team over there to make some of their templates responsive. I can’t give out an ETA , but Reason will be one of the first themes to receive it when it’s ready. In short though, I’m working with ECP because they are the best in the calendar business… so while there might be other solutions out there, they are usually pretty buggy or lackluster in their feature-set where I know the dudes at ECP are dedicated to actually solving the issue of events management on WP
Hope that helps! B
Thanks…that’s fantastic news. I look forward to using ECP with this theme.
Me too!
B
Hey man great theme! I love it! The only thing I have a problem with is the Skelton Photo display. I have it set to three photos to be displayed however it always starts at 7. That be said, when I adjust the browser size it immediately adjusts to the suggested 3 viewing panel. Can you assit me with this?
Thanks.
P.S. The domain in question is www.nickshakespeare.com
Heya Nick! this appears as though it’s already fixed or you’re using a browser that I don’t have in my testing set… can you confirm? Thanks! B
One, hopefully final, question for you: what is the CSS reference you’re using for the Read More tag? Seems like you’ve changed it from the default for WP. Specifically, I’m trying to modify the read more to display on a separate line in a bit larger font under my excepts. Advice?
Thanks!
Heya Delta – If you’re using the recommended Advanced Excerpt plugin, it’s just ”.read_more”, in which case adding this snippet would work:
.read_more{ clear: both; display: block; margin: 5px 0; font-size: 13pt;}Cheers! B
Hello
I just purchased this theme and I tried to upload it through wordpress and it keeps failing and the I tried ti through an FTP client both zipped method and then also unzipped install and it keeps saying stylesheet missing. Does anyone know what is wrong. I’m sure the theme is tiptop as everyone is commenting so much about their joys of the theme but i seem to have little luck here.
Also the read me instructions are ALL blurred out so I cant read anything
Hi
I have a different slider (the one called Royal Slider on codecanyon) that my client would like on this them instead of the included slider. I am not sure the best way to implement this, hopefully adding a short code somewhere, I don’t want to mess up the theme, any help or comments on the best way to this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi Jez! This one’s more or less going to be on your side as I can’t realistically be expected to integrate every major plugin/slider out there and there’s quite a bit of markup that goes into creating the slider that we’re using. I can give you a bit of direction though:
1. The existing slider markup is located in the element-carousel.php and element-pageslider.php files – which are being called from the header.php files – so you’ll need to replace that markup with the RoyalSlider markup… or at the very least if they give you a shortcode you might be able to just strip the markup that we’re using and add the shortcode.
2. You’ll need to include their script from the functions.php and remove the fredcarousel script that we’re using by default.
3. From the header.php file you might also need to link to their CSS .
This may honestly be something that you need to go back to the original authors of RoyalSlider for though – in all likelihood they should have some documentation on how to do this
I totally wish I could help on this sort of stuff… but it’s simply beyond the capacity of what I can help out with because there’s just so much labor and custom coding involved. I’m your guy if you have any basic theme questions though!
Cheers! B
Can you tell me a little more about the flexibility of ad spaces? Particularly regarding possibilities for 468×90 and 728×09? Is there a facility to add the 428×90 to the right of the header/logo at the top? And the 728×90 below the main header? And is there the option to be able to associate individual ads to individual posts?
I guess what I’m asking about is aspects that I can’t see in the live demo re. ad spaces and management.
Thanks in advance for your time. A good answer here and I’m a definite purchaser!
My documentation .pdf is all blurred…where can I download one that is readable?
Heya Pomme! Fire me over a link on http://makedesign.ticksy.com and I can send over the Mac-safe version – but in short, it’s readable using the free Acrobat reader – the default Mac OS reader is notoriously bad about rendering big PDFs like this.
Cheers! B
One more (pre-purchase) question if I may. Does this theme support both a main menu and a top menu? Watching your video, I’m left unsure. To show you what I mean, see www.techstyles.com.au
Thanks!
Heya K! Nope – not right out of the box, but I’m always glad to help with these types of customizations over at the support forum: http://makedesign.ticksy.com
Hello, I just purchased this theme but can’t seem to upload it onto my wordpress site. I tried using my Mac laptop and a Dell Desktop to see if there was a difference. The Mac was extremely SLOW to upload onto wordpress so I tried the Dell instead. But the Dell wouldn’t work either. Wordpress said there was something wrong with the file. PLEASE help as I would REALLY like to use this theme for my site www.get-scrooged.com

Very nice, clean and easy to set up theme, no hazzle, no problems, no frustration… I really appreciate to work with this theme… Keep on creating good stuff like this, you have a new fan!
Cheers, Divena
Thanks Divena! The kind words are appreciated! B
Hi! Looks like a great theme!
However, for the download of Reason WP 1 .9.3, the documentation files are corrupted—both HowToMakeUpdates.pdf and Reason_Documentation.pdf.
Could you re-upload or provide a download link please? Thanks!
Heya Patatas! Open them up with the free Acrobat Reader – the default reader has a difficult time
That, or setup a ticket over at http://makedesign.ticksy.com and I can send you a safe, basic font version.
Cheers! B
How could I remove the html tag in the menu? I didn’t find
Heya Oli… What do ya mean? I’m a bit confused what you’re asking here

Having trouble with my blog feed. Links don’t show up properly until the post is viewed individually.
http://monster-con.com/Look at the post for Monster Spokespeople, the links are just plain text in this view, but once I click to view the post by itself they work.
How do I get my links to work in the blog feed and not just stand alone posts?
Grab the Advanced Excerpt plugin and check out our video on it at the link below – it will essentially extend that excerpt to whatever you want it to include (images, links, text formatting, etc.)

Hi, I’ve bought you theme, and was just wondering if you could help me with a couple of things…
Firstly, when I turn avatars off, the space where the avatar would be remains and so the title of the post appears indented. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
Secondly, is there an easy way to turn off the tag symbol, and also to change the appearance of tags?
Thanks a lot!
Hi Antique! Got a link that I can peek at for these? It’ll likely just be a quick CSS snippet that patches it up for what you need
B
I’ve just read all the pages of comments.
I bought the template som days ago. I’m a pretty advanced wordpress user. But I CANT seem the front page slider to work.
1. I have the latest version. 2. Have tried to upload different sized images. 3. I have a static page as frontpage 4. I have enabled the Front Page Slider in the page settings page on that page. 5. I have enabled the Front Page Slider in the main options.
The adress is www.celinasnaglar.se
Please advice!
Hi Chris!
Make sure that when you’re uploading images, and before you hit the “Add to OptionTree” button, you select the File URL button, not the Attachment URL that WP sometimes defaults to

Can I suggest an edit to your Reason install video, or a second one, for those that don’t need dummy content, or the demo configuration. That is users switching from an existing, content- and menu-populated site. It seems to me that there are some important distinctions in the installation process.
Sure! I’ll pass this along K -it might take a week or two, but we’ll get a “switching to Reason” video out
the video is the way it is now because mostly just the really new people to WP request videos right now… But as the library grows, we’ll start to have more specific walkthroughs.

Nvrmind Epicera, I got it! haha I didnt upload the XML file, and i just took care of it. Thanks for such an awesome theme!
Ok! Thanks for the update
B
Love the theme so far quick question where and how do I install the “big blog version” also with the big blog version can I still have the slider at the top thank again.
Hi! Just create a page, then select the blog page template of your choosing
For the slider, you can add it to each page from the Skeleton Page Options for that specific page.
Cheers! B
Thanks for the speedy replay! I tried to create a page but it doesn’t show. Basically all I want to do is have my main slider and a continuance of post with a comment section for each and I’ll be good to go. Check out my blog at your convenience at www.orlandoingram.com/blog Thanks
Heya Oin – I might be mistaken here, but you’re just missing the content. Make sure that you have some posts setup with featured images to use the “big image” features – for the slider, just make sure you’ve uploaded some slides to the Theme Options > Slider panel and that the images that you’ve uploaded are using valid .JPG or .PNG urls (by hitting the “File URL ” button when you upload the images).
