This is really nice and well done ! I have a couple of questions for you..
1) Are the different medias searchable?
2) Can you have multiple categories for the media? Are they searchable ?
3 ) How customizeable is the background ?
4 ) Are there any widgets that come with this theme?
5 ) More of a wish.. wish there was a facebook fan page that comes with this

1) Not separately searchable, but yes.
2) Yes, and yes (but not separately).
3) Completely customizable, just upload a new background image or pick a color. You can also choose a color to replace the red default color in the theme.
4) Yep, quite a few! (Media, Events, Recent Posts, Flickr)
5) A fan page? Not quite sure what you mean? You can probably just embed the Facebook fan feed if you needed to with a plugin or whatnot.

Does this theme have a sidebar ? I want to incorporate a signup area
Also, I noticed the scroll is a bit jumpy in the preview. Can that be a bit more smooth ?
Yep, it has a sidebar and many widget areas! You can do a left or right sidebar, and the homepage has a bit widget area to drop in some custom horizontal widgets.
As for the jumpy scrolling, could you be more specific? Is it on every page or a specific type of page?

.. about the scroll. I mean that on your preview, it doesn’t scroll smooth for me, it acts as if it is ‘weighted down’. So, I wasn’t sure if it was because it was downloading media, or if there was a way to make it smoother.
The Facebook fanpage. I’m currently using a theme that has integreated an application to work with Facebook’s fanpage so the website can also show up (and work) within facebook. Just thought it would be super awesome if this one did it too.

Yeah it was probably still loading the media, like you said. Once the page loads completely it should scroll fine. I’m going to work on speeding things up in the next update.
The theme doesn’t have a Facebook fan page, but that’s a cool idea for sure! Keep in mind that Facebook now requires you to use SSL secured pages (https)

Love the theme, found one issue though. I noticed that there was a theme update and I wasn’t looking correctly and pressed update and now my theme is your lovely Born theme lol oops, you might need to update the auto updater
Other than that this theme is really nice, using it to create a live streaming channel.

Hey there! Nice clean stylish theme!
Thinking about using this for my running race calendar website. The theme info describes being able to have different event categories for events. A few questions:
1.) Can I have categories then for distance (5k, 10K Half Marathon, etc) and location (Broward County, Miami-Dade, West Palm Beach, etc)?
2.) Can I pull up a page to show the archive for upcoming events within a category? i.e. a page listing just the events filed within the category 5k?
3.) What happens to expired events?
4.) Can you add social medial icon links (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)?
5.) Do you have a field for css overrides/ custom css entries? I’m not the best with child themes and css overrides would help when upgrading theme versions.

1) Yes! 2) Yes! 3) They go into the “Past Events” page template, if you add one. 4) Not at the moment, but it’s something I plan on adding soon! 5) There’s isn’t a CSS override field, sorry…
Two more question for now:)
On your home page you have a section labeled
“Upcoming Events”
Is it possible to have numerous of these sections on the home page, one for each type of event category, i.e. 5K, 10K, Marathons?
Is the Get in Touch section of the bottom of the home page a widget? I’d like to replace that with Google map of all the upcoming events (using a Google maps plugin I have in mind).

Yes, it’s possible to pick and choose one or more categories for that homepage widget area. You can add multiple widgets as well.
It isn’t actually, but you can hide it, and then add your own custom widget to the bottom of the “homepage widget area”.

Great looking theme…had a couple of questions before purchase:
1. On the homepage slider, when you select a slide that has video it plays and then stops after the next slide transition happens, is there a setting to allow the video (or audio) to finish before going to the next slide?
2. Do you have a list of all the options and capabilities the admin panel offers for customizations?

I have another issue where all news items / media items, if there are more then four (4) are misplaced. The top row is renderend correctly, but the once below them are aligned all over the place, instead of in normal row below the top four.

Small workaround but it works.

PS – Instead of the clear:both div you can just use a div with the “cl” class.

jscheetz .. I noticed that the scroll on Paul’s site is coming up jumpy for me. That’s the make it / break it for me to purchase. I love this theme, but more fluid or faster scrolling would need to be present.

Stoked with this theme! The support has also been phenomenal. This theme and Justin’s support has given me the ability to get my South Florida Race Calendar site back up in a tenth of the time. Done with the theme styling and setup in a couple of days from purchase and can now just focus on the data import.
The setup of another theme or event plugin would have taken me at least a week.

1 – I don’t see the correct font (maybe some problem with the @fontface)
2 – does not correctly import the xml file (demo_export.xml)

1. Is the floating social media bar on the left able to be added onto the home page because currently I can see it on every page except that one.
2. How can I edit the links on the social media bar to link to my pages, I have not found any options for it in the control panel.
1) I’ll get this added as an option (Where would you like the social bar to show up?) with several location options (Homepage, Pages, Posts, Events, Galleries, Videos, etc.)
2) I’m confused, the social media link already to link to the page you’re currently viewing.
