I, too, bought this theme through a bundle and realize that doesn’t include support. However, I was hoping you might tell me if there is a trick to getting the correct sidebar to show up on the pages. It seems that no matter what page I’m on, the widgets for the Main Sidebar appear. Even on a single page where the page sidebar should appear. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

I went ahead and bought the theme so that I could get support and in the hopes the sidebar would work properly. But it’s not. How do I get the page sidebar to appear on the pages?

Redux was purchased by the site developer, Savage Solutions, for me so i don’t have a way to register for support. I’m assuming it is your Redux Theme but don’t know that for a fact. Let me know if it is not yours and if you can tell me whose it is I would appreciate it.

It was sold to me as a responsive theme but there are major resolution problems. I have been told by people who should probably know that Redux is not a responsive theme. Maybe you could clarify that for me. website is here … http://69.89.31.133/~sunnycr4/WP/.

I would like to get what shows on the screen above the fold and side to side where it is at 1900 X 1200 resolution (which is perfect) for all resolutions, at least down to 1024×768.

Is there a way a programmer could use media queries to fix this problem for me or is there some plugin that will make it responsive? I’m happy to pay to get it fixed so if you could refer me to someone capable of doing it I would appreciate it very much. Savage Solutions has refused to comply with our contract and has pretty much told me to “take a hike” so I need someone else to fix this.

Hi,

Purchases of the bundle are as-is purchases and are not eligible for support from authors – this was stated on the sales page as you can see here at the bottom – http://s.zilla.cc/ENKJ

In short, there is no physical way we can validate your purchase as you have effectively bought from the Envato account and not our account. Authors only have the ability to verify purchases of their own files – we just cannot physically verify your purchase I’m afraid. This goes for all items in the bundle, not just ours.

Hi Orman, the Redux theme looks great but struggling with the demo on the links such as 14 custom widgets and take the tour etc. Tried in Chrome and Firefox but not responding properly? Not sure if its my internet playing up. Could you have a quick check please? Thanks, Rob

OK, I feel silly but where do I go to set up the slider? I can only find where I can choose the speed of transitions under Home Page options. How do I add pictures and captions? Please help!

Hi Rob, the themes come pretty much as per the demo, you can change the color scheme, upload your logo etc from the theme options panel. Any further changes would need to be made to the theme’s CSS file.

Hello Orman,

My WP site updated to 3.5 and now my homepage Slides pictures are truncated. The bottom part of my pictures are hidden by the middle section. Any idea of a fix??

The “edit portfolio” page to add new pictures is giving an error message when trying to add a new picture, when i click on browse a window opens up saying: Cheatin’ uh?

couldn’t find anything about it in the documentation?? what am i doing wrong?

hi Orman – I’ve just noticed my submenus (off the top menu – no dropdowns appear) no longer work on the website – is this becuase of the upgrade to 3.5??

I noticed the same thing as garydee77 and this was BEFORE even upgrading to 3.5. Just out of the blue. Dropdown not working at all. Very bizarre that it’s happening to the two of us independently, is it not? By the way, I (like many others) got this as part of a bundle. So I guess I don’t qualify for support. Would love to hear if there’s a reason for this sudden glitch, though. Thanks for a great theme!

The theme has been updated to work with WordPress 3.5 so you would need to upgrade to maintain compatibility. The dropdown sounds like it could be a conflict between the menu and the WP admin bar. If that is the case then it will only affect logged in users, not your site’s visitors.

Thanks for the response, Orman. You do fine work and make some great themes! In this case, it was BEFORE I even upgraded to 3.5 and I was logged out. Hadn’t touched the site at all recently. It’s very bizarre. I upgraded WordPress and plugins, thinking maybe that would help. But it didn’t. Not really looking forward to paying for the theme again. Thanks anyway.

Great theme. After upgrading to WP 3.5, the tabbed widget doesn’t seem to be working on the blog page. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks in advance. :-)
