Awesome theme, clean, fast and with focus on content, can I make a suggestion as for a video platform the set up is not logical.
If you click on the portfolio page you get all projects grouped in pictures and when you hover over each picture you get the name of the project, that’s perfect, BUT , if you then click on a image you get into the portfolio single page and you see the same image again with a video clapper logo in the centre meaning the user has to click again on the image to get the film in the lightbox overlay. This is one step too many.
Is it possible to include an option to show the video embedded in the single portfolio page (instead of showing an image which activates the lightbox when clicked) like you have for the blog when viewing a single blog page?
In this way if the embedded video (I use Vimeo) is set to autoplay the video starts playing instantly.

Ok, downloaded the theme, i’m not finding any google calendar plugin, I was able to embed calendar through HTML but it is not responsive like the rest of the site…. Is it possible to have pages be listed on the home page as opposed to posts? Also I’m not having any luck uploading galleries or portfolios.

Plugins need to be installed through plugins > add new. Not all plugins are responsive.
To set different page for home than blog go to settings > reading there You can find “Front page displays” and pick static page. In documentation You can find detailed informations how to create portfolio and galleries.
Is the navigational bar only black or can it be changed to white or another color? Any preset skins where the background and navigational bar are both light or white….just by clicking a button?
Sidebar on right have only this black skin, skins that are included change details like hovers, links etc. These can be changes by click and You can see changes in real time, same thing with background.

I struggle to activate the portfolio, I have the default blog display, but not the portfolio with just images and over effect… tips ?
In documentation You can find chapter how to create a portfolio. First step is to create page with use of portfolio template, next go portfolio > add new in Your admin panel. Items from portfolio are displayed in portfolio template.

The theme RENOVATIO seems very good but I have some questions:
Please can you show some detail or screenshots of the admin panel with options to customize the Theme? Or you can see the documentation before buying?
The vertical categories Portfolio (Filters) on the iPad are behind the text of Copyright. Would not it be better if a listing on horizontal rather than vertical?
What if the portfolio has a hundred of entries? How do I load to enter the site? Is there a button “Load More” as in paragraph blog?
What the gallery post with no buttons to move forward or picture?
Sorry, one more question, is not compatible with IE8 ?

Request like this can is not a problem, easy to create option to change from horizontal to vertical.
At this moment there are no “load more” for portfolio. It will come in update.
Gallery controls in next update.
It looks fine in ie8, but i don’t do anything special just for ie8.

I have a few requests, my site is mainly video oriented, when making a blog (which all contain video’s) I get all these small video embeds grouped together but I rather would have an image there and when they click for the blog detaills that you then see the video (or at least a choice that you can have a small videoembed or a image where all the blogposts are grouped. (more or less the same principle like with the portfolio)
Also, is it possible to have a logo (.png image) instead of the text in the left upper corner?
I also tried some sharing plugins (so people can share blogs or portfolioposts on facebook or google+ but they only send teh text but not the vimeo embed, not sure why that is happening, would it be possible to have sharing buttons integrated?

I will add extra option in standard post format to have featured image in blog view and video in single post page. Have You tried fancybox media in standard post format?
Check option in customiser “Custom logo”, there You will find interface to upload own image for logo.
I will create function that will add thumbnails/embeds to rss.
Hi, I tried adding a custom logo in the customizer (a .png and a .jpg) but it doesn’t work, it does show up in the customizer screen on the left but not on my site.
You need check “Use uploaded image as a logo”. Please check mail too
weird, I had that checked, so I unchecked and checked it again and now it appeared, problem solved

Also, when I use the “more” tage in my blogposts, it shows all text before that “more” tag in the blog overview like it should but it doesn’t show a clickable “more” text to go to the blogpost.
User can click on title or featured image to get to the post full content. But if You wanna have “read more” contact me via e-mail i will send solution
Thx! will send you a mail, the reason why I wanted this is that there is no featured image in my case but an embedded video, clicking the embedded video starts up that video but it doesn’t open the details of teh post. My visitors may not know they have to click the title to go into the details so a “read more” text would make that clear.

Is the updated version live? Maybe I”m overlooking it but when downloading the file I can’t see which version it is and since it doesn’t change anything it must be the older one, maybe you should add the version like “renovatio_1_3.zip” to the zipfile’s name so it easier to see when a new version is available.

You can check what version You have in style.css, in header of main css file are located informations about theme.

Check options in customizer, in blog section You can find option to display “Read more” button. Keep in mind that to show this post need to have something more to read, use <!
- more -> or set an excerpt.Use standard post format pick media for it “Featured image to iframe”, set featured image and paste iframe code into iframe textarea.

AWESOME Theme, Dude! ) But before I buy it, I would like to know whether it is possible to use dribbble-thumbnail size 400 by 300 pixels, or only the square as in the example?
You can use smaller images, normally when user take big image WordPress cut 500×500px and use this smaller version for thumbnail. If You will have smaller image it will use it without cutting.
It would be problem for single page to have such small image as a featured image but You can use iframe or slider for it.
I was wanting to ask something about this heme, is it possible to add images to the menu area in the left hand side under the search? Something like sponsors or ads?
What I’m looking to do is add some images in that area, for sponsors/ads that are grayed out and when you hover over them or click on them they turn to a brighter white? Would this be at all possible and could this area stretch just in-case they run over??
Hmm there is possible to use text widget with images in it for now. But if there is such request from customer i can make dedicated widget for displaying ads. I will add this to list of features for next update
