Very nice template
- The Happy Bit
Cool background and all style template! good luck to purchases!
Hi, can I add text/description in portfolio or it will only shows the titles/categories when you mouseover on top of the images?
nope, the Portfolio supports titles and categories, also to ensure that they look better in such a small context.
Does the menu support a 2nd tier for dropdowns?
yes, as you can see on the demo (mouse over “home” then “slideshow” then “effects”) the menu supports well up to 3 levels.
Is there a grid style layout for the blog?
not yet, but this will be definitely added to the next update!
Very nice indeed!
Awesome Theme – I have emailed you some pre-purchase questions.
Seriously considering a purchase!
we sent you an email replying to your questions!
looks nice.. not so friendly to use unfortunately..
Thank you for purchasing Resolution!
What kind of troubles have you encountered?
Your feedback is more than welcome and would help us improve our next updates/releases!
I love this theme and I”m knocking out one of my best websites with it. Quick question… How do I get a Home button in the navigation to link to the Homepage?
please open a new topic on the subject over at our Support Forums (http://support.thehappybit.com), and we’ll answer your question as soon as possible.
I figured it out by using the Menu section. Thanks, love the theme.
Very nice theme, superb customer support. Thanks.
You says the theme update include ‘new blog layout’ (like portfolio). But it’s not in demo?
we have updated the online demo!
when i click on “resolution options” in wp-admin it says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
My blog is not showing all the content. It only displays excerpts. How do I enable the blog to display an entire article?
How do I get my blog posts to link to a button in my navigation? and Where do I choose the blog view options?
I purchased this template in Dec. and had 3 substantial glitches. The handling of graphics and navigation menu was very poor when viewed in IE8 or 9. After a few posts on the developers forum, they responded by having me install some useless code which did not fix the problems. Now, it has been 3 weeks later, no response from developer (THB). I hired a programmer to diagnose and repair the glitches. There are still some bugs in the ‘hover’ mode on the interface navigation.
Unless you are certain that no one will view your site via IE, I recommend choossing another templete and certainly choose another developer. I gave them multiple opportunities to respond to me with solutions but no luck. Two thumbs down for THB .
one week before Christmas we added an announcement in our Support Forums home page, and also tweeted about it, to let our customers know that “Support on the Support Forums will be suspended from Dec 24th to Jan 8th. Of course the forums will be left open to allow for searching and posting.”, since it was our holidays period.
Concerning your problems, please note that we have replied in the thread on our support forums.
Regarding the glitches appearing on IE8 , this appears to be a IE8 -only problem. We’ve run a couple of tests on IE8 and IE9 : IE8 under Win XP displays such glitches, while IE9 (acting as IE8 ) under Win 7 didn’t show any glitch. We’re currently investigating the causes of this issue and we’ll get back to you ASAP .
Our efforts are always aimed at ensuring that the experience on IE is on par with the other browsers, for what’s possible, and we do our best to offer a free and voluntary support that’s useful and efficient.
I’d like to know if this theme allows for more than one blog page?
I’d like to have my blog posts divided into three pages with specific categories displayed on those pages – like a news theme.
this is a very specific request, so the theme doesn’t support it natively. You can obtain what you want easily enough duplicating the blog page template and customizing it to only show entries from a specific category.
Hi THB ,
So, would I have to edit any code, or can I adjust settings within the dashboard?
I happy to set up pages that have separate blogs on them as long as they can have one or two categories only showing up on that page.
I’d even consider using the portfolio pages if they use the post category attributes.
I really don’t want to mess with code to achieve this.
Thanks for you reply.
Actually, I think I see now what I’m really looking for – or at least what might work. The grid style blog page, with the categories displayed with it.
I’ll be back in a couple days to purchase.
Feel free to answer my question too – because If I could have 3 separate blog pages with an attached category for each page, that would be even better.
we’ve replied to your question (to the topic you have created) on our Support Forums.
