Please go to admin panel then go to menu: MagenThemes -> MT Colinus Admin -> Configuration.
Open General tab and search for “Enable Change Color Site” then set it to No, save this change then refresh the cache and refresh your site!

sb_enterprises – problem solved! the category must be with “is anchor: yes” selected. Go to Catalog > Manage categories > (select the category) >Display settings > is anchor: yes!

Another issue is with the way timthumb is handling the slideshow images. If I set the slide dimensions to 2560×730 (and also the slider height and width to the same), the image doesn’t display correctly as timthumb seems to crop the image so the dimensions are 1500×730 – which renders the image scroller redundant for me at the moment.
For the products list and products scroller, you have the mode ‘featured’, along with ‘latest’ and ‘new’. New doesn’t seem to work and breaks the theme, and ‘featured’ does the same, but I assume we have to create an attribute ourselves for this, but what settings do we need to use when creating the attribute so that selecting it from the drop down menu in the admin panel will make it work?
agreed that the built in instructions can be confounding. I can’t seem to lock the site into box mode and english only. Where is the option to do this? I only want box mode + english. when you limit it in CMS/home – it breaks the site (There was no Home CMS page configured or found. ). And the option to pick languages won’t go away.
can I change the word bag to cart? how do I disable the compare feature? I’d like the logo to be a big bigger.

1 – Did you try to delete all other store except Storename Boxed and Store View english?
2 – You should translate your magento site!

4 – There isn’t disable click to show lightbox option on product details page, but this will be available in update version of this theme.

Here is the quick fix for this problem:
Open file: app/design/frontend/default/mt_colinus/layout/catalog.xml
Search for:<reference name="right"> <block type="catalog/layer_view" name="catalog.leftnav" after="bestseller" template="catalog/layer/view.phtml"/> </reference> <reference name="left"> <block type="catalog/layer_view" name="catalog.leftnav" after="bestseller" template="catalog/layer/view.phtml"/> </reference>Remove one of the reference tag depending your current layout page (column left: remove right, column right: remove left)

first off I like this Theme A lot.
Please help with a few issues: Others seem to have the same issue.

4. Why are my font and images appear to be bigger than in your demo. I would like my homepage to look more like your demo. 1: Please try to set 3 type of image in magento product edit page: Thumb Image, Small Image
2: Please make sure that your current hosting is optimized for magento site (magento sites required larger of resources than other open source ecommerce systems).
3: Please try to edit this file: /js/magenthemes/mtslideshow/timthumb/timthumb.php, search for MAX_WIDTH and MAX_HEIGHT value, then increase them and delete files (except index.html) under /js/magenthemes/mtslideshow/timthumb/cache folder.
4: Please try to use google font: Open Sans

1: Big issues I need to fix ASAP. Other people are having the same issues with category pages not displaying products. I have all products with Thumb, , Image & Small Image. It’s not the images. I changed as suggested to Go to Catalog > Manage categories > (select the category) >Display settings > is anchor: yes! and now I get a Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/imobile/public_html/outdoorsporting.com/app/code/local/MagenThemes/MTColinusAdmin/Block/Filter/Slider.php on line 1.
I’m also missing the image category header like in your demo. Men’s Category image header.

2. I have multi sites with my host using Magento. I’m using Host Gator and all sites are running fast using Magento. www.outdoorsporting.com was running fast until I installed this new theme. It takes almost 20 seconds before I see anything on the homepage. Something is not right. Please help.
3. I fixed the MT Slider images, but I had to change to Height and Width to inaccurate numbers. sb_enterprises above 3 days ago had the same issue.
