Hi! I have this theme running on closethejob.com. I cannot get a custom link to work in the top menu. It creates the link, but when you click on it, nothing happens.

Hi,

I purchased this theme awhile ago…works well, but I’ve come across a problem I cannot resolve…I need your help. It concerns images that I insert in pages

I’m using the “one-page” layout and I can see my Homepage header graphic and slider. I can see images in the Portfolio, BUT …I cannot see an image in the About Me section.

As you can see, there is an image placeholder, but no picture and I can assure you that the picture is in the media library. I created a new (draft page) as a test with mocked up copy and an image…same problem.

Any thoughts…? When I first published the site, it worked fine. I have gone through every page and option setting to see what I might have disabled No luck.

I also notice that in the Page Editor, when I click the “Visual Tab”, I see a second set of copy and the image, yet only the top image can be edited. When I click “Text Tab”, I see one set. I thought the Text tab would show me HTML code?

I’m sure it’s a simple fix (fingers crossed), but I’m baffled.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi.,

The content in the editor shows correctly. You can see the p tag, image src, etc which are all html tags only. Other than that the content does not have any other html tags. If you want to edit the whole page content html, then you need to edit it in the php files only.

Hi,

Thx for reply, but I think you missed the point that my ability to view and edit HTML, via the “Text Tag” is intermittent.

Some times it’s there, as show in the example and other times, when trying to access the code, I see a duplicate Visual WYSISYG window, as seen at the top of page examples, and the only way I can get back to seeing the HTML code is to close the browser, open WP again and go to page editor, then press Text Tab.

I have used WP for over a dozen website projects and have ever seem this bug/anomaly before.

Hi!

I was wondering if the issue that the above user ‘delwad’ experienced has been resolved as I am having the same issue. Within the content editor for either a post, a page or a parallax block I cannot select the text tab, effectively forcing me to use the visual editor. What’s more any content that I put in the visual editor does not save when I click ‘update’.

I went through the plugins one by one and and there seems to be a conflict with the Revolution Slider version 4.6. I have seen previous projects using your theme and they are using Revolution Slider 4.3.7.

Any update on this?

Is it possible to disable the animations such as items appearing as you scroll? They require a lot of processing power, and my laptop fan starts to get loud when viewing the demo website. (I don’t want to discourage visitors from staying on my website!)

Yes you can remove. Some of the animations can be removed from the content itself and some can be removed from the php files.

I purchased the theme and followed the instructions provided in the documentation and video tutorial, but the menu links do not function as a onepage! They are supposed to serve as anchors to the corresponding sections below, but clicking on them does nothing at all. http://impactsoundworks.com/jill/

Quoting from the documentation:
The one page can be worked by the following conditions,

Drag and drop the published page links, and the pages will not have “external” class by default.

If the External class added to the Page, Post, Parallax, Category menu link, Tag menu link or Custom menu links, that will automatically unconcerned from the one page content. But it will be added in header menu and will work as an external page.

I’m afraid that I can’t quite understand those directions: the English is not good. (No offense!) Can you please help me set this up properly?

Nevermind… I fixed it, but only because I found another commenter who had asked the same question. Your answer was:

Please check once again by changing the permalink structure into “Post Name” instead of its Default option from your Permalink Settings.

This worked. Why didn’t you include this part anywhere in the documentation, however? It is an essential step!

Ok…we are stumped.

We’ve setup and been using the one-page template for a while…very nice. ( seen here : http://www.ariannedelrios.com/wp/ ).

But now wish to add an additional page (seen here, called My Journeys: http://www.ariannedelrios.com/wp/?page_id=502).

We created a mock-up and published it, plus added it to the menu, yet we can neither see the published page, not the menu item to click to it…

What did I miss?? I tried changing permalink settings, but that had no affect.

This theme looks very nice!!

One question. My client has made 11 blog posts http://atiim.ee/blog/ but it shows 10 posts and has the same posts on the blog page 2, as on the first blog page. How could we have all posts on the same page, or new post on the second blog/page2 ? Maybe You can point us to the right direction :)

hey. Time ago I wrote to you here, pointing out that the theme was not working correctly with WP 4.0. You told me that the release was not compatible do I had to downgrade again WP to 3.x. I noticed that now you released a new version, compatible with WP. 4.0, so I downloaded it and upgraded to 4. But once again this does not work, just like as before: it does not save my edits. If i change even a single letter in any text, after saving there is no trace of my edits. This is very important for me: I need to finish the work and my customer is very unhappy… Please help me to solve this fast.

I did what you suggested: I deleted then replaced my copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. It did not work. The same problem as before

ok last update (but please read also above). being very disappointed (I thought re-installing WP would have been the solution, I tried again deactivating plugins one by one. At the end it is the Revolution Slider who clearly has a conflict: when activated I cannot save any edit. How to solve this?
