I’ve attempted installing this theme several times via both the Wordpress Admin Panel and FTP. When I upload the files via FTP the theme does not show in the available themes for the domain, but when I upload via the Wordpress Admin Panel I get a “Wordpress Failure Notice”. Is this an issue you’ve seen widespread, is there an available solution?

are you trying to upload zip file called river.zip?
Yes, “river.zip” is the file that I attempted uploading through the Wordpress admin panel.
When uploading through FTP I unzipped the file, and uploaded the “river” folder to ” /wp-content/themes/”
Neither seemed to work for me.
I have also attempted downloading the theme from Themeforest a second time, thinking that possibly the package I received the first time around was somehow corrupt, but redownloading the theme files proved to present the same issue. Wordpress error through the admin panel, and WP not acknowledging the theme when uploading via FTP.

I am thinking of buying your theme. Have you tested it with Responsive Slider? I have purchased it to work with my current site and wondered if I would encounter any issues.

We did use Revolution Slider with our older themes, but we switched to Layer Slider as it has more effects and features. I think it should work fine with Revolution Slider as well.
I purchased the theme a while ago and when I went to set it up I relised you can only add 1 image at a time to the portfolio, as photographers this is usless. When I asked about this _I was told it was due to be added to next update, it still has not. Can you tell me if this function will be added and if so when? If this is not available I need to ask for a refund.
We have this feature in our to do list, but we can’t promise the due date.
If you want a refund, we are only authors, ThemeForest has exclusive rights on selling, so you have to speak with them.

I am having multiple problems with this theme. I cant get Visual Composer to work, I cant get the contact form to work, I cant get items to show in my portfolio and I cant get photo galleries to open in a lightbox.

I have some questions. Pardon me if they are too much of ignorance.
1- By default, the selection color is red and doesn’t match the color I want for the rest of the website. How do I change it?
2- I can’t seem to add the site logo. With element inspector I can see it is there, but invisible and offset. Is there a certain size or file type that I have to use?
3- I am also having problems with the header resizing feature – It won’t resize, and when I got it to work, instead of resizing, the header just got a little upwards. Maybe this is related to problem #2?

I have purchased the theme and uploaded the root river.zip successfully.. but when I try to import the xml sample data file nothing happens… my import just says “Import Data” but I never get to the complete portion.. I have uploaded the xml file directly to the server via FTP to the uploads folder and still nothing… I have not heard back on a support ticket either.
Anyone with accurate directions would be very much appreciated
You probably need to increase max execution time of your server setup in order to enable import of demo content.

I want to buy your amazing theme, but I have some issues with Firefox (even after a clean install)
1. CPU hogging. It’s probably the Layer slider. Is you demo using the latest version? Maybe something else?

1. It is not latest version on our demo, but we regularly update our theme with the newest version. Not sure why you have those behavior. Is this happening with all rest of the pages? With any other theme?
2. Since fonts are integrated via google fonts, sometimes browsers get confused due to some problems of internet connection.

I have experienced cpu hogging with qoute a few sliders in FF. Maybe 20-30% of them. Maybe an update will fix it. Same goes for the font problem – 20-30% of themes. I have the problem with FF on my Mac and on my windows test system. Anyways, I love your theme and will buy it now, thanks.

I’m building a site for a client using your theme and I must say I’m quite impressed on the versatility!
I have one question, thoug. Is it possible to add content above contact form in the contact page? I’d like to have some two-column content on the contact page and the contact form below it. Now, however, when I try to add content using the visual composer, my newly created 2-column (1/2 + 1/2) content is placed inside another 2-column (1/2 + 2/3) content which has the contact form in the other, wider column.

Our contact page template is made in that way that content of the page that has that template set is rendered on the left side of the page. What you can do is override contact-page.php template in your child theme and change it’s layout any way you want it.

1) navigation arrows come after all portfolio content is displayed (images and text with meta data). Unfortunately, their position can’t be controlled from our back-end.
2) you can control title height in Qode -> Header and Footer options page with Title height option

You should go to Appearance > Widgets and add content to Header Right and Header Left widgets.

Hi again, You have been talking with my developer about improving the performance of the theme. You advised caching wp plugin (wp total cache or w3 super cache) My developer tried it and the speed doesn’t improve and he hasn’t got an clue how to improve the performance/speed of you’re theme.
Now i have a big problem because i spend a lot of money on the developer and you’re theme and i have an site that looks great but isn’t usable because of the poor poor poor poor performance.
the performance of my site gets n 34/100 so my question is this due of my developer of you’re theme. I think the second what do you think.
So how can we fix this because now i have an beautiful site but an site that doesn’t convert because the performance and ux sucks. Its like driving an ferrari with an smart engine. ( and by the way my hosting provider is fine sot that isn’t the problem)
