I have been using this theme from past 2 years. After updating the contact form builder, it does’t work anymore. Both the widget and the contact form in the contact page doest work anymore. Here is the website address

Thanks for contacting us!

Please submit a personal request via this form and our support agents will provide you with the required fix. It appeared, that there’s a plugin with similar name in WordPress plugin repository, that’s why such issue occurred.

Thank you!

We are really enjoying this theme with one exception. The images in the media library seem to have a way that allows for comments/spam. I don’t have this issue with my other Wordpress websites. Is there something that can be done? It’s a regular occurrence.

Hi again, thanks for coming back!

First of all we’d advise you to activate Akismet plugin – it will protect the site from spam. That’s quite usual, that unwanted comments are received as soon as site is launched. As to images shown as attachments – it’s a basic WordPress option, available even for standard WordPress themes (like Twenty Fifteen). The fact that you don’t get similar spam on other sites might concern comments form being disabled on those sites. As you can see from your example link, Leave a Reply form is shown below image. The same form is available for any Riviera attachment page, but we don’t experience similar problems as Akismet prevents the site from spam.

In case you don’t want to use mentioned plugin, there’s a possibility to disable comments in a usual way and check the spam comments.

Thank you!

Thank you. Can you clarify what is meant by there is a possibility to disable comments in a usual way? I had previously unchecked Allow People to Post Comments on New Articles and I also just now checked Users Must Be Registered to Post a Comment. If my client doesn’t want to pay for Akismet, is there anything else that can be done outside of what I have just done?

Hi again!

Last time I checked your link, there was a comment form displayed even for not logged in users, now a user must be logged in to post a comment. Have it already resulted in spam quantity? As to Akismet – there’s a possibility to select your payment under Basic plan, you can even start from Personal Free Account and still get spam protection.

Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you!
