Hello! I’ll buy rock palace premium theme and I’d like to know if there are differences using the reading on iphone, I don’t understand if the slideshow works on mobile device or not :)! we have removed slider from responsive view for quicker browsing. ThemeForest don’t offer demo so you will need to purchase the theme.

Ok for slider! Thank you ! So the theme is responsive for all the functions but not for slides? I’ll buy the theme , is not too much important this aspect, I only need to control and to post video and much more using iphone through the wordpress app :) Thank you for the help!

Hello how are you doing? I am working with your theme and have removed the icon images on the featured boxes on the home page. Once the images are removed there is still a box where the image should go. Is there a way to remove this?

Hi, I have a problem with lightbox in posts. I can’t open featured images. the href is empty () so the featured image doesn’t appear when we do click. I saw the same problem in the Rock palace live view. Can you fix this error? Thanks!

I bought this theme and like it alot and my client also. I’ve just got 3 problems and i hope you can help me with those problems.

1: How can i change the title “OUR MOST RENOWNED PERFORMERS” on the homepage. Can’t find it: http://cuata.welovesalsa.nl/

2: The site doesn’t show up responsive on my iphone. Even when i’ve checked the checkbox “Check this if you wish to allow responsive mode.” in the backend.

3: I’ve changed the font to Trebuchet MS. But everytime i save some changes in the theme options dthe fonts seems to change to the default. But in de theme options still stands Trebuchet MS and i changed the CSS en uploaded it.

I hope you can help me with this!

Thanks for your quick response! Problem 1 and 2 are resolved. I now know want causes problem 3. Everytime I edit the theme options in wordpress my changes in the option.css get lost. So i have to reupload the option.css. Is there anonther solution for that? If not, Than I can live with that! ;-)

Hi,

that is because options.css is being written each time you save the settigns. Settings are picked from the file style_options.php so any custom changes you make should go into that file and not options.css.

This is what I get when I try to install this theme:

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

Is there an explanation for how to get past this point?

Hi,

yes there is, uninstall the first zip first and then install the zip called musica.zip. Always uninstall the first zip you get from Themeforest, it’s how Themes are packed.

But I bought the Rock Palace theme, not the Musica one. Also, the initial download link had two options. The file that eventually worked was called “themeforest-3908213-rock-palace-a-responsive-music-wordpress-theme-wordpress_theme.zip”. The other one yielded the theme install failed message. You might want to fix this.

Problem 2: How do you remove the “WELCOME TO OUR BLOG, WE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED” h1? I see some Portfolio title options in the “theme-options.php” file (I don’t know php but I think it might be $of_options[] = array( “name” => “Portfolio title on home page.”,), but the actual Theme Options menu does not have any option to edit the Portfolio title.

I need to be able to edit this text, since this is the h1, which is very important for SEO. A quick Google search showed that nearly all the sites which use your themes have this grammatically incorrect fragment. Just search for and you’ll see what I mean. It’s div class=”pagecontentContent”.

this has nothing to do with how I handle this, please understand this. It’s how Themeforest works and how they want this. Doesn’t matter, it’s just a name, if not musica, then rock palace, the point is you need to uninstall the first zip always, with all the Themes on Themeforest. And yes they provide this links in this matter, I just upload the Theme, that is how they handle download links.

You can easily change that text in theme’s options (translation tab), this is just a text placeholder, everyone will have it’s own ofcourse.

Also, you have some misspellings in the Translations section. I think “Cancle” [sic] should be “Cancel”.

no problem, well it’s mainly because we want to keep all this text in one tab and it was meant for people to be able to translate most of the text of the theme from one tab, might be confusing if you just want to change one line and keep the rest intact, thats true :).

Theme author responds quickly to questions and offers definitive answers on support.

Unfortunately, this theme (yet??) does not support videos (only still photos) in the portfolio mode. Just want to put it out there for any prospective purchasers.

We are mostly happy with the theme, but would have liked to have had video capabilities in the portfolio.

My client have purchased Rock Palace and we also have problems with the theme being responsive on the iphone. I saw some posts about this problem but no answers. The answers where all send to the private mail.

WOW, I could not regret anymore that I’ve purchase your theme! I asked three questions that you didn’t answered but instead fix them or someone in your theme, I am still grateful for that. At the same time I’m disappointed that I asked three miserable questions 1 was fixed by you, and the answer to the other two was notices of “limited Support” a whole week have passed and my three questions haven’t even been fixed to the fullest.

When I first asked a question I followed the link from the “documentation” Then I came here asking for the demo content (because that site is a mess and there no such thing as “rock palace” information in it) and from now on I have been asked for this license as well as to post the same exact question in three different places… SHM
