Hello,

I am having a problem with the positioning of elements on all the pages. I made some edits to the backgrounds of some of the divs but as you can see at http://nustreammarketing.com/captainkids/ the divs are not aligned properly. Can you guide me on how I can make these divs align properly. Also If you go to the games section and click on one of the games the default blog post shows side bars and a lot of extras that I do not want on the page. I just want the game to show in the middle of the page with no side bars. Can you guide me on how to make this work properly?

Thank You

Hi there!

Do you need this for this post only or for some particular category? I can write you custom CSS for it, I just need more details.

Thanks and cheers! :)

Hi, If it could be for a category named games that would work. So that any post I create that includes that category will show up formated with just the game inside the content and no side bars or other extra elements.

Hi there!

It is possible but you would need to specify a Post ID every time, here is an example:

.postid-405 .post_title,
.postid-403 .post_title,
.postid-401 .post_title,
.postid-399 .post_title,
.postid-397 .post_title,
.postid-395 .post_title,
.postid-393 .post_title,
.postid-391 .post_title {
    padding-right: 10px !important;
    padding-left: 10px !important;
}

.postid-405 .post_meta,
.postid-403 .post_meta,
.postid-401 .post_meta,
.postid-399 .post_meta,
.postid-397 .post_meta,
.postid-395 .post_meta,
.postid-393 .post_meta,
.postid-391 .post_meta {
    display: none !important;
}

.postid-405 .sidebar,
.postid-403 .sidebar,
.postid-401 .sidebar,
.postid-399 .sidebar,
.postid-397 .sidebar,
.postid-395 .sidebar,
.postid-393 .sidebar,
.postid-391 .sidebar {
    display: none !important;
}

.postid-405 #post_area,
.postid-403 #post_area,
.postid-401 #post_area,
.postid-399 #post_area,
.postid-397 #post_area,
.postid-395 #post_area,
.postid-393 #post_area,
.postid-391 #post_area {
    width: 940px !important;
}

.postid-405 .post_content,
.postid-403 .post_content,
.postid-401 .post_content,
.postid-399 .post_content,
.postid-397 .post_content,
.postid-395 .post_content,
.postid-393 .post_content,
.postid-391 .post_content {
    width: 940px !important;
    float: none !important;
}

Thanks and cheers! :)

I forgot to update Rockwell before I updated to Wordpress 3.9 and I had to upload a new copy of the latest version. But the new version has none of my customizations. The old version is still on my server. Is there a settings file or something I can do to get back the old settings?

FRESHFACE

Hi there!

What exact version numbers are the old and new versions?

Thanks and cheers! :)

Hi there!

Unfortunately versions 2.X are not backwards compatible with 1.X for good reasons, we had to rewrite so much code to keep the theme up-to-date.

You can see the notice on top of the item page here:

or in the changelog here:

Hi there!

Please open /rockwell/style.css and change line 272 from this:

.commentlist .comment_wrapper .comment_content p    { display: inline; }

to this:

.commentlist .comment_wrapper .comment_content p    { display: block; }

Thanks and cheers! :)

Hey there, I love the theme and have been using it for a couple years now. I did have one question – is there an easy way to make my logo unclickable? I’ve got it pretty large and centered on the page, and I would prefer that it not fade when moused-over or be clickable. Thanks!

The page is www.zedoralive.com

FRESHFACE

Hi there!

Yes, open functions.php, find function “ff_print_logo()” and line 162, with this:

echo '<a href="'.home_url().'">';
</a>

Just remove the homeurl, so it will look like this:

echo '<a href="#">';
</a>

Thanks and cheers! :)

Awesome, thanks! That makes it so the link doesn’t go anywhere, but the image still fades on mouse-over. Is there something I can do to disable that? Thanks again, I’m heading over to add a review now. :)

Hello, How can I have the galleries on my posts opened with PrettyPhoto or any other lightbox? Can the post gallery be opened just like the galleries of the Gallery Page Format? Tnks

FRESHFACE

Hi there!

The galleries are automatically opened within a lightbox, at least the ones under the main featured images in sidebars. If you want to open another galleries, please send me your WP login and I’ll take a look.

Thanks and cheers! :)
