Hi We need to translate the theme. I’ve found folder lang/default.po. How does the .mo file naming for example German. ‘german.mo’ ? Second: On contact page, how we can change the Google map? Best, Michael

For german, you need to save them as de_DE.po / de_DE.mo . Then don’t forget to modify the language extension on config.php also.

As for the contact map, you need to go here http://d.pr/i/13CCD .

Hi,

All content is optimized as much as possible right now. You can use the W3 total cache plugin and activate the compression and headers expire time.

This will help your website to go faster. Also, you can take tests and see if your server has problems in respond time.

Hi Zilla,

There are 2 steps in registering on the support website, first where you enter the purchase code, and then you will have another one with the which you need to complete, and then you will receive the e-mail.

However, if you give me your email address, I will be more than happy to make you an account.

I am interested in purchasing this theme, but have a couple of questions. It may be a silly question, but I want to confirm that I can add as many projects as I like, that would cascade down and not be limited to the six squares in the demo. I would like to use the project tile format as a blog where I continue to add new content. Within that same idea, I am wondering if it would be possible to have comments in those project pages, like a blog. I read that you could add that to the AVA theme, but wanted to see if it was possible with ROUA. Thanks so much and I am looking forward to potentially using this lovely theme!

Yes, with little code modifications you can have the comments. As for how many projects you can add, you can add unlimited items, with no problem. AJAX pagination is very handy as well. :)

Hi there, this might be a duplicate but I’m not sure my previous comment posted! I have purchased the ROUA hipster portfolio and blogging theme but haven’t been able to upload it onto wordpress. When I select the ZIP for upload, it loads to 100% and then an error page appears saying “are you sure you want to do this?” I read other threads about this and it says to unzip the full file and locate the theme zip. Another option was to download the wordpress file only (rather than the whole package). None of these options have worked. Finally, I tried going back to my theme forest account to locate the purchased file under downloads but it seems to have now disappeared! Could you please instruct me on how I can successfully download the right file and install it? I look forward to your response…

Hi,

It’s very strange cause I don’t see the ‘purchased’ tag on your profile (this means that themeforest say you didn’t bought the theme).

If you did however, the error you receive is because your upload limit for wordpress is to small. You can ask your hosting support to raise your upload limit, and you won’t have that error again on the upload.

Also, you can upload the theme by FTP in your wp-content/themes/ folder, and then you just need to activate it in Appearances -> Themes.

That’s because I created two accounts by accident. I have uploaded the zip file by FTP but on wordpress under themes it now says “ERROR: Stylesheet is missing.” Could you let me know what I did wrong?

It’s very simple, the .zip you are trying to upload is not the theme’s .zip. You need to unzip that one, and inside you will find another .zip archive with the name and version of the theme.

That one need to be uploaded.

I tried uploading the theme, but Wordpress says the Stylesheet is missing. I looked at the zip file, and it should be there (style.css right?). How can this be fixed?

Hi Jeanette,

So, this is the archive you need to upload to WP http://d.pr/i/twjO . If you upload this one, it should work fine, with no error.

However, if the error still exists, unzip this archive, and upload the ‘roua-final’ folder on /wp-content/themes/ folder on your FTP.

Great Theme! I am super excited to purchase. I have a very silly question but I couldn’t find it covered in the comments. On the homepage, does the main image have to be faded? Or is there an option to keep the opacity 100% on the image and copy white like the contact page?

For each page, you can choose what header type you want, so you can have something like on the contact page, on homepage too.
