Hi Terry,

The theme global form styles are applied to the front-end view that’s why it looks different. It is a big plugin and must be supported by the theme exhaustively. If you’d like to customize the view, use firebug and create a css tweak that overwrites the global css codes.

Hello, I wonder how can I change the small icon for the website (shown on the Internet browser’s tag). I tried RTTHEME17 > General Options > Custom Favicon and put a URL there, but it doesn’t work.

Hi,

You can create your favicon by using this website http://favicon-generator.org/ and upload the file by using the Media -> Add new screen of WordPress admin panel. Then just copy the file’s url into the “Custom Favicon” field.

I’ve bought the RT theme 17 a few months ago and now suddely the visual editor on al pages doesn’t work anymore. I’ve updated to Wordpress latest version and also I’ve updated the theme, but no result.

We are also working with WPML plugin , NExt galley and and Yoast plugin.

Can you check and help us with this? It is a very strange problem, and now we cannot use the editor for inserting links, images or other things.

I wish to place a filter option into the Products page but I just couldn’t do so at all!

In particular, I wish to filter the products by”New Products” category as well as A -> Z categories ( I have already added each alphabet as a separate category)

I just updated my theme to the latest version (vs 2.8.1) as you instructed in order to update the Slider Revolution because of the security vulnerability. The update was successful, but the Slider Revolution plugin is still showing as v 2.3.91 (instead of v 4.6.0 as you claimed). Please advise asap! My hosting company insists it is updated immediately or my site is coming down.

Hi guys,

I have managed to set-up the categories menu in the Products page, however as it is a side bar widget, it is displayed in a vertically fashion.

I ultimately wish it to display as a horizontal way.

i.e:

The original display:

Categories: A B C D

I now wish it to display as:

Categories A B C D

and it will locate on the top the page before all products.

Please guide me on how to do this and/or provide me with the code if its necessary and advise me which section to place into.

The language switcher is displayed in the header automatically by default when wpml is activated.

Rt17 only support wpml and no other language plugin.

Hi guys,

When I place in a feature image for a single portfolio item at a size of 900px x 900px for example, I notice that the theme doesn’t automatically scale the image down and have it contained in a fixed frame.

I would like to achieve this but have not found out how. Please guide me with particular codes or any plugins.
