Great Theme!
Two issues:
1) The theme is making my admin panel run extremely slow. Front end is fine, but admin pages can take up to 30seconds to load, unless I refresh them midway through. I deactivated the theme and the admin panel was lightning fast again. Any ideas?
2) Where do I drag widgets to get them on the homepage sidebar? I’ve tried every sidebar option, none of them are showing up on the homepage, except for the blog widget.

1) I really don’t know why you’re experiencing this issue but there are no problem at my end(s)! Also nobody reported any problem like this before for both my two wordpress theme (kind a same admin panels) Can you please try to use with a clean wordpress install. It might be another plugin or so! 2) There are no widget for the home page side-bar, it just supports news and testimonails.

Hi stmcan, this is a really great theme, the best theme I’ve downloaded by far.
I had a few issues when I first installed it on WampServer and couldn’t seem to get the drop down menus working. I installed it to a directory on my hosting server and still had the issue but changing the permalinks seemed to fix it.
I do have another issue with the gallery however. The lightbox for the thumbnail images doesn’t load the full images when you click them, the loading animation appears but none of the full size images load into view. I hope that makes sense, I have noticed the same issue in the Live Preview on your Photos pages. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looked through the documentation, and maybe I just missed it, but I’m curious how, in the testimonials, do I get the “testimonials author” and “testimonials company name” that are set in the CSS file to kick in? I currently am just using the basic Text widget for the testimonials. Am I supposed to use one of the RT Plugins instead? Or is there some kind of short code I need to use? I, personally, didn’t see anything specifically relating to which widget to use to insert the testimonials.
Thus far, aside from that, the template is working great and I have found it very easy to customize and use.

I’ve enjoyed the easiness of customizing it and the clean look.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with ayale99 and say that this theme is the only common denominator that making my dashboard extremely slow. I don’t know if it’s the new WP update or what, but every other page on the net runs super fast other than my dashboard.
Also, I am a little pooped that I can’t customize the homepage sidebar.
Other than these two things, I have nothing but praise. A great theme!

Just ran into issue #2. It seems I need the nav to span across the entire top of the slider and move the logo up. That’s fine, I kind of figured out how to do it, except 1 thing. When I slide the logo up and put the nav to 919px, the slider_top.png detaches from the slider and the nav inserts itself below it. As seen here. I’m not 100% on what’s going on with it, I have played with the heights of the nav & logo and I can’t get the slider_top.png to budge. I never originally touched any of the slider’s settings so I’m deducing that it has nothing to do with the slider. If you want, I can send you my CSS file to see what I have done.

Loving the theme – Thanks for a great job. Have a few questions – hope you can help.
1. When I add images to the portfolio they duplicate – meaning i get 2 of each – just like the demo shows here. How can I fix this so that it only shows one of each?
2. Also noticed the theme gets completely butchered in Google Chrome. You lose: - slider back ground - rt-theme4 widgets will not populate correctly. - broken images
This is as far as I have got with Chrome. So Sad.
3. I had a third…. Please let me know about the duplicate portfolio asap.

Thanks for getting back with me. The portfolio is working great – except the fact that it is producing duplicate images for each slide. Ex. when I open the port thumbnail and begin to click through the images – it’s showing me doubles every time.
Plus my Gallery is not working – may be a Chrome thing – I’ll check firefox.

I’m having 2 problems.
The first is my widgets do not have boxes to check off on them. They just list the options like these with no box to check off like I see in your overview videos. Examples:

Hi, I have one issue. I have uploaded my blog to remote server. It is working fine except few things. I have added RT-THEME4BOX widget in common side bar with an link to image in image field. The text of widget is displaying ok but the image does not appear in the frame. i have typed the image path as following: “http:// /wp-content/uploads/QA-Model.png”. when i try to use html code![]()
in text field of widget, then the image appears but it appears without frame, means scattered and without proper dimensions.
Images in slider and other widgets are working fine. Kindly help me as it is very urgent for me to solve this issue.

Just installed this gorgeous theme. Love it, one of my favorites.
I had set up the photo gallery page and was experiencing an issue where the lightbox pop up was hanging and not displaying anything.
Not sure if the version of this theme I downloaded yesterday was older or such, but I found that the gallery template file (template_gallery.php) looked as below:

Not sure if anyone else was experiencing this error… seems to be working fine now, however.

In order to have drop down categories menu under portfolio link you must choose the categories by using “Portfolio Options -> Select Portfolio Categories” on the RT-Theme options. Please do not forget the check “Show Porfolio Categories As Drop Down Menu?” checkbox also! Please let me know if i can do anything else for you.

Hi STMCAN , I am having difficulties tracking down the CSS element for changing the color of the slider Header text (it looks like double text, or text with a drop shadow). Please point me in the right direction…i have tried adding color to all the CSS elements under: /* slider area / / sliding texts on main page slider / / slider title text / / slider title title/ / slider featured link styles/ / slider numbers/ / slider text link / / slider text link */
And yes, I can change the paragraph text color…but can figure out how to change the “header” or title text.

Ok, Thanks again for the Theme, but you’ve simpy explain the normal functioning way of your template. I’ve done those steps that you pointed out over and over again. The reason why I wrote to you is because doing those steps do not produce the result that they are suppose to. The drop downs are not working. Have you dealt with this issue before?
