HI there, Another great theme thanks. Previosuly purchased theme 9. However, my blog posts are appearing as full articles rather than short summaries with the option to view more. Any suggestions how I can fix this? Thanks /Deirdre

SEO in RT-5

I have a few questions with regards to how RT5 theme handles SEO .

1. Multiple H1 tags with slider: Each one of the main page slides has an H1 tag. How would I change the slider to have H2 tags, and keep only 1 H1 tag on the main page?

2. Breadcrumbs and tags display in posts: Can change or remove the display of breadcrumbs and tags in posts?

3. Javascripts: Can I remove all the non-essential scripts? What does each one do?

4. Wordpress SEO plugins: What SEO plugin works well with your theme?

I am having issues with the sidebars, they wrap around the text within the page when set to default template. Instead of displaying like a sidebar. Please provide some insight, I am using template 1 and have not edited the css to cause this.

I’ve purchased 26 themes on Themeforest over the past 18 months. I have always had the need to modify the theme to some degree – whether it’s by way of new template pages, changes to their standard files, or things like custom-fields.

This theme ties your hands more than any other I have ever purchased. I understand what the developer was attempting to do, but this is a classic case of someone trying to do something FOR you, and the result being that they are doing something TO you.

For instance, they have created a bunch of specialized custom fields in an attempt to make it easier for you to indicate a photo for a blog entry. However, in doing so, they have for some reason eliminated your ability to add your OWN custom field. Why? Why are we stuck with only the variables that YOU think we need?

I wish my client wasn’t in love with the overall design of this theme as I would move to something else – but I’m stuck using this now.

Sorry guys – I believe people should know when they’re having their hands tied. I hope you will take this into consideration for future development. Never assume that what you envision is exactly what the end user will need – allow them some wiggle room to make changes as they see fit – that’s the beauty of Wordpress in the first place.

Hello. Love the theme, have had zero problems working with it. Today, all the sudden there are errors all over the pages of the website saying basically the following:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Object_Cache as array in /home/prairiew/public_html/wp-includes/cache.php on line 314

Nothing was changed/added for a couple weeks. Any idea why were getting these ‘cache’ errors all the sudden?

when I upgraded to Wordpress 3.3.1 your weird menu no longer worked. My client now can no longer have a drop down menu.

On the verge of buying the theme, but can the right menu on the ‘about us’ page be remove?

I want to make the whole theme with just ‘pages’ not ‘posts’ from wordpress.
