Hi we have a small problem with adding content into the Description field for category pages. We are using the 4 column shortcode. This displays perfect on all other pages/posts EXCEPT for category pages. When used in category pages, each column includes an extra
There are no extra p tags appearing in the text view of the description field

Hi, my shop page looks diferent than yours in the demo, i read here i need to uncheck the “disable woocommerce css” but i can’t find it in the woocommerce configurations, i’m using woocommerce 2.5.5.
Just to complement, it don’t show the categories, filters and etc…
You need to create custom widget area in Appearance -> Widgets, and put all these woocommerce widgets in it (Filters, Product Categories…) and to include that sidebar for your shop page!
Thank you so Much, it worked perfectly!
Just one more question:
-The shop page shows all my products, how can i limit to only 6 products, and don’t show the option to the person see all the products in the page list below?
-If there is a away for me to hide a category from the shop page it would work as well.
There’s no such an option by default. But you can use some of the WooCommerce shortcodes in page content area, like this for example
[recent_products per_page=”8” columns=”4” orderby=”date” order=”desc”]
to display only certain number of products on your page, and not all.
You can learn about woocommerce shortcodes here https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
So you could use Product Category shortcode, to show only products from certain category.
And i need to put this code on the shop page, do i need to put it directly in in the woocommerce shop page code?
Already solved it, thank you so much Team Qode!
You are welcome. Thank you for the update
Hi Code Team!
There is a way for me to let the page scroll be the default?
And how can i translate the checkout page?
1. If you want, in Qode -> Global Options , you can disable Smooth Scroll and then the default one will be used.
2. You need to translate default WooCommerce labels, read this https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/
Is there any
You can activate and use Header Top area, and show custom menu/links you create in a top bar of your site, like on the apple official.
Really enjoying using this theme. Well done.
One question. Is there a way to have a youtube video display on the blog page with its thumbnail from youtube? At this point the title of the video appears in the blog but no image. (with the “small image” blog setting) I could change the blog setting to full width image full post and the actual vid appears. I understand that I can create a featured image of the thumbnail and make that the featured image of the video post but I wondered if there may be an easier way to do that with the small image blog setting?
Thanks for any help. Beautiful and flexible theme.
Did you make your posts to have type Video ? http://screencast.com/t/1QyctJ4Aik
Then you just need to add video ID in Video Post Format panel, http://screencast.com/t/WEJj87u8RNR and the video will be shown on blog lists , including Small Image blog lists.
Yes, thanks for your response. I put the video id into the correct spot, list the height as 540 and check it as youtube but when the blog loads in small image mode a correctly sized black video box comes up with the white triangle in the middle. But if you click the white triangle it gives you an error message. “An error occurred, please try again later (playback ID: Btu_ybptl9tatdf6)” This occurs on both my desktop and phone. If you choose “blog full width image full post” you get a large black box with the arrow that does the same thing but the video appears underneath in full size. Any ideas?

I tried to submit a ticket but after a good deal of effort to explain the problem it was rejected saying my support had expired. :>(
Have you tried with some other videos? It could be that some of them have restrictions from being shared? And check the video ID field, you need to paste only video ID (not the full url) there.
If the issue is still on, it’s necessary for our support to have a look.
Thanks for your response. Yes, I have tried multiple videos and they all do the same, and have only pasted the id not the url. Video field is checked. Not to worry, I can create a page to house only videos and simply not have videos on the blog. Plenty of workarounds if there is not a simple answer.
Yes understands, but it should also work this way.
I have a site wide issue with some script after updates, the logo is missing in the header of all pages, plus the slides on the homepage and the map on the contact page. Also, the shop has defaulted to 12 products per page, when I had it at 100 per page. No idea what happened!!
Please make sure you’re using the latest Satellite 2.2 version. Update the theme if you’re now, and clear browser cache. If the issue is still on, submit a ticket to our support at https://qode.ticksy.com so they can check and help.
I downloaded the latest files, FTP the zip file to my server, expand, and I am getting version 2.1, not 2.2, and still same described issues.
Tried uploading via Wordpress, vis FTP transfer, via server upload, always getting Version: 2.1
Yes, we just checked it – and we haven’t incremented theme version in style.css file. It still says 2.1 , but that’s actually 2.2

We have a theme conflict with the event calendar pro plugin. I know this, because when I change the default theme, the calendar works. what happens is it places “search” in the url when month is clicked which is breaking it. causing an error to say “There were no results found for “Search” this month. Try searching next month.?” Do you have a resolution to this?
We cannot confirm compatibility with that plugin, but we could try to help you if you submit a ticket at https://qode.ticksy.com/ and our support agents would take a closer look if there is any possible solution.
