1) Yes you can replace the theme slider with your own slider by customizing the theme.
2) Yes you can show news on the homepage.
Oh i’ve forgotten to mention that for review page, when i see NEWS /PREVIEWS/IMAGES/VIDEOS should be better to have it like ReviewIT, i.e. when i click in IMAGES they should be opened on the same page and no to open them i a new page.
Some users wanted the links to go to separate pages as the tab system can generate a lot of queries if you have a lot of content in the tabs causing your site to go down.

Nice! I have several domains traderdailyplanet forexdailyplanet and so on looking to create a mag/rating site for traders, I have some specific expertise in certain trading arenas.
Is the theme rating system and categories set up for gaming only? How flexible is image sizing, is pretty much WP standard, the thumbs site wide are a little small for my purpose, even the video thumbs, I will be posting financial graph type images and video of stock’s and currency.
Does the theme use the Tim Thumb script? Any input on compatibility of a membership plug-in like Wish List Member?

You can rate any kind of content, gaming is just an example.
You can control the size of the images in the list and review posts for each item individually all from the theme options.
The theme does not use TimThumb it uses another image resizing script which seems to work with more servers.
I’ve not tested it with Wish List Member unfortunately, but I can’t see there being a problem.

I just bought this theme cuz I needed the psd. files. Now I wanted to start to modify the theme and I see there is only 1 unfinished file in psd.

1. How works the slider ? Can I set a category in the theme options for the slider ?
2. Do you dont use any custom post types for the slider or reviews, reviews are normal postings (with category reviews), right ?
3. Are there metaboxes for publisher, developer, genre, release, rating ?
4. Author & infobox shortcodes (specially for reviews) would be nice …

Thanks for your comments.
1) The slider displays slide posts (a custom post type, not ordinary posts). You can set a slider category for the slider.
2) The slider uses custom post types, reviews do not – they are ordinary posts.
3) There are no meta boxes for these options otherwise the user would need to make changes if they’re not reviewing games. You can simply type in your own review details on each review post. 4) These are not currently in the theme, if there’s enough call for them I may include them.

These are not really bugs. The date issue is a typo, that’s all, it has no bearing on your installation of the theme.
The review links to do not appear on the other pages, I did look into adding this feature but it’s difficult. I will attempt to do this again.
ReviewIt’s release date, genre etc. fields were not shortcodes. These were custom fields. This theme works differently and allows you to easily type in your own review details.

Hi, my giddy aunt, awesome theme. But, there is always a but.
Is it possible to add breadcrumbs when someone clicks on a sub tab such as news or images for a review. I only ask as it seems a little cumbersome to have to press the browser back button.
Also is it possible for the tabs to load in an ajax fashion instead of waiting for page load?

Yes both are possible from the theme options.
Came across ‘Score’ whilst downloading an upgrade to your most excellent ‘Review IT’ and will be back to purchase after Review IT upgrade completed.
Two questions:
1) Is it possible to change the ‘Good Points’ and ‘Bad Points’ to show in the template as something else, for example ‘Manufacturer’ and ‘Brand’? And if so how would I do this?
With the ‘Review Details’ now being free text in posts, I’m assuming the only way to make these indexable sections would be to add them also as ‘tags’ and then have a page for each ‘tag’. Or would there be a better way to do this? i.e. another way to slice and dice the listings so that visitors could browse the individual ‘Review Details’ sections – assuming that these would be consistent throughout the site.

1) Yes this is possible. You would just need to change the text Good and Bad in one of the theme files.
2) Yes you would need to use post tags to make each review item indexable. You can simply hyperlink the review details yourself e.g.

The Forum is generated using BuddyPress. Once you install BuddyPress the forum comes as is, without set up.
The theme does not come with a Facebook register/sign-in plugin. I can’t recommend any, I suggest looking through this page: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=facebook+login
Yes you can display all members, as long as you install the BuddyPress plugin which provides the widget for this.
Yes you can have a blog and forum feed in the sidebar and/or footer via widgets.
The theme does not come with a recent photos widget, but you could use the Posts Widget the theme comes with to display the latest image posts and recent video posts.

I just wanted to say, “excellent job” on this theme. I see you guys actually spent a lot time this theme. I can only hope it works like a charm as good as it looks as an owner.
One question” is the setting for the ad space in the header set in stone 610×95 or can we adjust the size to 728×90 or whatever we want?

Your ad can be any size, as long as as your logo isn’t taken up the space.
