I saw other user asked for author & infobox shortcodes. I would like that also if I finally buy the theme ^^
Considering that this theme uses in excess of +160 queries I’m presuming it isn’t exactly a good idea to use this on shared hosting?
It’s rarely a good idea to use a feature heavy WordPress theme on shared hosting. However many of the queries on pages are generated by the tabbed set up – the theme also comes with options to switch from tabs to separate pages to reduce the number of queries per page.
when i try to create a new user registration on my site i get the error “User registration is currently not allowed.” how can i fix this?
This isn’t a theme issue, it’s related to WordPress in general. Make sure you have enabled registration from Settings > General.
I’m buying the theme, but would be nice if you fix some HTML (45) and CSS (162) validation errors in upcoming patches.
ThemeForest no longer requires that HTML and CSS validations are fixed for the simple reason they have no affect on the performance of the site. Most of these validation issues are being generated by WordPress and the plugins the themes uses, not the theme itself. Nearly all the themes here and many of the top name sites on the net have plenty of validation errors. It’s nothing to worry about and should just be ignored unless they are affecting the performance of the site in some way.
hi there again,
sorry for earlier that was all of my fault. However once i have created an account it shows the wordpress top admin bar. I purchased the theme mainly for the top menu in the demo with firends and messaging. How would i get my user registration to look like the one in the demo?
This bar comes with BuddyPress, please refer to the help for activating BuddyPress: http://ghostpool.com/help/score/help.html#buddypress

great looking theme and perfect combination with buddypress, bbpress and ratings
One pre-purchase question from my side:
Are you using both forum options in your demo? I see 2 different kind of topic lists ->
Is it possible only to use the bbpress forum and to display it in the group tabs of buddypress?
Btw: on my work computer the list of topics, at the second mentioned link, are not in line with the theme and are showed half over the sidebar.
Yes I’m using both. You can disable either option to only have one type of forum.
The bbPress forum will not display within the group tabs but you can use on it’s own.
Thanks for pointing this out. I’ve fixed the issue and will include it in the download right away.
Hi again GhostPool,
Sorry to bother you again but how do i get my purchase code to register to your site forum?
This is explained on the register page, click the “Where is my item purchase code?” link just below the purchase code text box.
I have integrated bbpress successfully however when i try to create a new topic it doesn’t let me. Do you know what the problem is? The link is below.
Thanks for all of your help
This really isn’t a theme issue since it’s a problem you’re having with an external plugin (BuddyPress/bbPress). I suggest asking your question at buddypress.org/support.
is is possible to make one of my pages into a blog?
Currently there is no blog template, but one will be added in v1.5 sometime next week. In the mean time create a blog category and link to this.
Thanks very much can you email me at firstname.lastname@example.org when it is ready?
Please follow me on Twitter @ghostpool where all site updates are announced.
Just wondered with the new update, how do you get the headlines scroller to work as it is not in the help file?
Go to Theme Options -> General Settings and you will find the scroller options.
Does Score have similar clickable category functionality as your ReviewIt theme?
I see in the screenshot of the post edit page, there’s a review details box. Can I enter HTML in that box to link those review details to a tag or category? Or is there some other way to have something similar to ReviewIt’s linked categories like: director, screenwriter, etc.?
No Score does not come with this functionality by default, but you can manually like to tags/categories as you say i the Review Details text box.
Had my eye on this… not anymore, you changed the price by $10! well i’m sorry but no thank you.
No I didn’t. ThemeForest increased all BuddyPress supported themes to $45+, not me. A $10 is pretty small on a theme that would cost nearly a $1000 if you had someone custom make it for you.
I wasn’t even going to use buddypress why should i pay $10 more?
A theme comprises of many features that contribute to the total price of the item. Users are probably not going to use all the features that the theme includes yet they are still expected to pay the full price. I believe ThemeForest are allowing themes to be resubmitted without BuddyPress integration, this is something I’m looking into. If I’m allowed to add the theme without BuddyPress, you can expect it to go on sale for $35.
I am looking for a template where users can register. Now yours has the function and when I click on it, it says “user registration is currently not allowed”
Can this be explained or is that just an embelishment?
Thanks in advance,
WordPress allows users to register to any template you purchase. Some of my themes (you have not specified which) come with added user functionality such as a front end register, login and profile pages. Registration is disabled on the demo as I don’t want people signing up to a test site, the item description on ThemeForest does provide login details for a test account though, this will only give you Subscriber permissions so you cannot test admin features. Take a look at the screen shots on ThemeForest to view the admin pages.
Hope that helps.
One question before I’ll buy this theme:
We currently use the theme “Leetpress” and we have over 400 reviews. Can we transfer these reviews in this template?
Leetpress created the reviews as a “custom post type” by the way.
Thanks in advance,
Yes. You can use this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/convert-post-types/ to convert your reviews to posts. After you’ve done that you can activate the Score theme. You will however need to assign each post the “Review” option – this can be done on mass by an SQL argument.
After adding picture in featured image my post appear blank?

I m not able to setup this on my server can i get some help its not showing the demo content i imported
I noticed someone mentioned that this is tough to use on a shared server. As a mostly novice, do you have any recommendations on where I can host this that will cause the fewest problems/site slowdowns? Thanks, and I am looking forward to purchasing this theme. It looks very sexy and has just what I need.
The theme comes with some options to reduce the number of database queries (such as switching from review tabs to review links). I will also be releasing an update soon which will further reduce the number of page queries.
I would recommend http://dreamhost.com. I personally use them myself, they provide a number of VPS or dedicated server options for low prices. You could also look into using some free WordPress plugins, to cache your pages and reduce the queries.
button follow means what? I can see comments related to this item in my profile or I can add this item to my profile?
Is it possible to show widget with the most followed items?
When you click the follow button it adds that game (post) to your profile page, it works like a bookmark function essentially so you can keep track of posts you want to find again.
There are plans to add two widgets 1) items you are following widget and 2) most followed items widget. I’m currently having issues with 2) so this implementation may be delayed.
