Love your theme! I’d love to know how can I chance the overall font color? I want to make it a little darker.

Also I have the same issue as someone mentioned above, under Recent Posts all excerpts are the same.

Hi,

At the moment you need to use CSS to do so, but we’ve made a special button for that in the Theme Options pannel and it’s included in the new update which is already in review and should get in today or tomorrow.

I downloaded it but I still don’t see the option to change the overall font color. Where can I find it?

Also, I don’t get notifications in my wordpress dashboard when the theme updates are available. I’m supposed to receive those notifications right?

I’m wondering if it has to do with the Envato toolkit plugin? I keep getting the notification that I should activate the plugin, but I already activated it. After I activated the toolkit for the first time, I immediately got an update for the plugin which I installed. But I still get notices that I should install the (older) plugin.

The Envato tookit plugin needs to be activated in order for the update notification to come in. Regarding the font color, could you be a bit more specific on what exactly you’d want it to control? Simply the color of each piece of text generally on the site?

Yes but that’s the problem, I can’t activate the plugin cause I already installed a newer version of the plugin. I have the newest version of the Envato toolkit installed but it seems to keep pointing me to an older version I should install.

Indeed, I would like to control the color of the text on pages and blog posts.

The only thing that I desperately want is away that I can make it so that you can’t see how many likes to next to a Facebook post, as I’m linking to a profile and not a page. Is there any way that I can do this?

Hi,

The theme has no bug with the built-in social widget which also contains the Twitter count. I can help you solve that.

Regarding that other widget you’ve used for the Twitter feed, we don’t guarantee third party widget functionality on our theme because we can’t know how certain plugins have been developed, but we can have a look and try and help out. Just send this through the support mail.

Hi, I was wondering in documentation it said I could choose a category page but I am not seeing that option any where. And as far as short codes. I click on the short code buttons and I don’t have many like in the documentation. Help would be much appreciated!

What you need to do is create a new page, assign it the Two Column page template, publish it and then go to Settings -> Reading and set that page to be your homepage. Eg: http://www.simplethemes.com/help/front_page_settings.png

Dude, your live preview appears to be broken.

One other issue: on my 15” Macbook Pro (all updates) everything works fine using Safari, but on my sister’s 13” Macbook Air (all updates & using Safari as well) the dates & post types don’t work :/

The demo site looks good to me, it was probably some bad connection problem. As you can imagine, as long as it works on one device it should definitely work on the other one as well. Try to refresh the page and see if that fixes the issue.
