Love your theme! I’d love to know how can I chance the overall font color? I want to make it a little darker.

Also I have the same issue as someone mentioned above, under Recent Posts all excerpts are the same.

Hi Anjakicken,

The Envato tookit plugin needs to be activated in order for the update notification to come in. Regarding the font color, could you be a bit more specific on what exactly you’d want it to control? Simply the color of each piece of text generally on the site?

Cheers

Yes but that’s the problem, I can’t activate the plugin cause I already installed a newer version of the plugin. I have the newest version of the Envato toolkit installed but it seems to keep pointing me to an older version I should install.

Indeed, I would like to control the color of the text on pages and blog posts.

Hi anjkicken,

Please send us a mail at support@snoopyindustries.com with your login deets and we’ll have a close-up look!

The only thing that I desperately want is away that I can make it so that you can’t see how many likes to next to a Facebook post, as I’m linking to a profile and not a page. Is there any way that I can do this?

SnoopyIndustries

Hi,

Are you talking about the sidebar social widget?

Thanks

Hello, I purchased your theme and love it. I am wondering if there is a way to have the title of the post contained in the <title> of the html template.

So that the title of the page would look something like:

Blog Name | Post Title

Thanks,

John

SnoopyIndustries

Hi,

Sure that it can be added, send us a mail at support@snoopyindustries.com and we’ll help you out.

Hi,

Is it possible to disable multi-color for different post types in easiest way? We just want to use single color through out the blog. How can be that possible?

Thanks

SnoopyIndustries

Hi,

Please allow up to 24 hours between each response. It usually takes less, but the time zone differences between clients and support staff are a factor to be considered.

Hi,

We are facing issue with Facebook social widget. Issue is described at : http://awesomescreenshot.com/02c2ywok92

Can you please look into it and suggest us solution?

Thanks

SnoopyIndustries

This is probably because of some other widget/plugin you’re using, but we can have a look. Send it through the support center please.

Hi, I was wondering in documentation it said I could choose a category page but I am not seeing that option any where. And as far as short codes. I click on the short code buttons and I don’t have many like in the documentation. Help would be much appreciated!

Hi Deandresinette,

What exactly are you looking for? To only display a certain category on the homepage? Please send us a support mail at support@snoopyindustries.com and we’ll help you out.

Thanks!

Can the icons at the top of a post be removed?

SnoopyIndustries

Hi,

Yeah they can either be permanently replaced with the date, or removed altogether. Just let us know and we’ll help out.

Can you please help me achieve two column layout for the homepage? Like below?

I didn’t want to import the dummy data to keep the database clean.

http://labs.am-themes.com/Scratch_WP/two-columns-blog/

Also, with two column layout, can I keep the side for posts/pages?

SnoopyIndustries

Hi uakz,

What you need to do is create a new page, assign it the Two Column page template, publish it and then go to Settings -> Reading and set that page to be your homepage. Eg: http://www.simplethemes.com/help/front_page_settings.png

Cheers!

PS: Please don’t forget to rate our item.

Dude, your live preview appears to be broken.

One other issue: on my 15” Macbook Pro (all updates) everything works fine using Safari, but on my sister’s 13” Macbook Air (all updates & using Safari as well) the dates & post types don’t work :/

SnoopyIndustries

Hi,

The demo site looks good to me, it was probably some bad connection problem. As you can imagine, as long as it works on one device it should definitely work on the other one as well. Try to refresh the page and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks for help.

Not a problem! GLWS! Love the theme btw, set it up for my sister, created a child theme for it – works like a charm :)

SnoopyIndustries

Thanks a lot mate! :) Glad it’s working fine :D Have a wonderful day :)

When are you going to update this theme to Wordpress 4.0? Already in process? I want to buy 4.0 compatible theme :)

SnoopyIndustries

Hi Jonny,

The theme is 100% WP 4.0 compatible. The only reason we haven’t made any changes to it is the fact that WP 4.0 didn’t come out with anything which would need updated, the changes made didn’t affect our theme.

Okay… I know this may seem weird. But I’d like my Search bar to change to the overall color I selected. I thought it would but instead my two search bars stay fuchsia. Surprised to see there isn’t such an option.

Great Job on the theme.

SnoopyIndustries

Hi Timshol,

Thanks for contacting us. I’ve missed that but I’m gonna make sure I get to it in the next update. In the meantime, go to Appearance-> Theme Options and under Custom Css add:

.search_field { background-color: #dddddd;}

Replace the hex code with the one of your choice.

Good evening! I purchased this theme last night and I am in love with it. I do have one question, as did another customer; is it possible to change the multi-color theme for each post type to all one color? I appreciate any help.

Thanks so much!

Gina

SnoopyIndustries

Hi Gina,

Thanks for the question. It is possible, but unfortunately this is beyond the scope of our support squad so this would have to be a paid customization job if you’re interested in getting it done. If you need more details about it please send us a message at support@snoopyindustries.com

Hello

Just bought the theme and I’m getting and nasty error upon activation of the theme.

The error also shows up on the widget area if I’m trying to add the “JetPack blog subscrition widget”.

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in functions.php on line 879

Can you check it out. I’m using the WP 4.0

Regards.

CHeers

Hello,

First of all, you guys have done a fantastic job with the Scratch theme! Looks very solid. I’d like to ask a few questions before purchasing the theme.

(BTW, none of these are deal breakers, I’d just like to have a full understanding)

1) Can the hexagonal icons be replaced by circular ones, similar to those from the Bazinga theme?

2) Are the colors and icons per post type hard-coded? Would it be a complex customisation to have them vary per category instead of per post type?

3) Are there any widgetized areas in the home page apart from the sidebar? E.g. before the loop, after the loop, after the header, in the footer, etc.

4) Can the home page be setup in a magazine style? E.g. with featured posts in the main content column?

5) Is there an option to place the logo in another position? E.g. right-aligned or centered

Thanks in advance

SnoopyIndustries

Hi,

1. We can help you with that. 2. yes they’re hard coded per-post type, and yes unfortunately customizing them to be per-category would be quite a big customization job. 3. No, but if you’re asking this for ads we can totally help you out introducing ads wherever you feel there should be some. 4. Unfortunately not without some extensive customization. 5. Not by default, but again we can help you out placing it wherever you want it.
