Selene - Fullscreen e-Commerce WordPress Theme

Sorry, another query… When I create a Project page for the Portfolio page, I expected the Project link to go to the Project page that I made. But it just returns a 404 error.

Is that not how it works? Do I have to create yet another page on the site to actually write about the Project?

Hi Alex, I have couple of questions before purchasing:

1- is it possible to deactivate the shopping card in these theme and activate whenever my client needs it?

2- is it possible to deactivate full background page slide show and use just simple colour or just one image in individual pages?

3- Is this true that you not being responsive toward questions when its come to giving support after the customer bought the theme. I see lots of comments about it

The site has gone live now but there are still a few teething problems (as well as now answer to my query above).

First one is hopefully simple and just me not finding an answer to it. How does one add a tab on a product page? I looked at the tabs & toggles code and tried a few things, but it just added random boxes and not a tab to the existing one. How is it done?

Secondly, I have added a link in the text of a product description and it doesn’t work. When you click on it, it goes to the Reviews tab. However, if you right-click on the link and select open in a new tab or new window, it works fine! This is very confusing and unhelpful. Any ideas?

Finally, when you get onto the address page when ordering, the Shipping Address fields are higher up the screen than the Billing Address and it looks really messy. Not sue why this is happening. Any thoughts?

@TheUnfinished Did you get any response from the Author? I am having several problems as well. In the ‘Shop’ the products are not showing in mine. I emailed him, but haven’t heard anything back yet.

And I have an issue how I can make the page content Liquid or responsive for the iphone , It is not fully responsive only the galleries and portfolios but the content still in normal size when I see on my iphone .

Aero in the css of the flexslider you can set up the arrows and the autoplay , only set true or false .

Hey everyone do you know what file I need to replace for the flexslider issue ? I don´t want to lost my custom codding .

I’m putting my makeup and skin care online and was wondering if under products there was a way for example if there was “eyeshadow” there was a option for “colors”.... or something like that?

or maybe a recomendation to another theme for what I’m looking to do.

hello! Nice theme! a lot of hard work and clever thinking! my first question is “style.css” ... I haven’t read any complaints about any basic installation problems? No audio on the video?

hmm – I didn’t find any complaints about a missing “style.css” – thats very rudimentary. but, such is life .. Even tried the ‘unace’ freeware (nasty bit of software, actually) ... no go. How about I delete Selene and we go with PROMETHEUS. I can customise that quickly .. shoulda went w my gut! :/

Its clear by your comments page that you are not too confortable with English. You may want to hire a young assistant who is fluent in English as it is pretty much the language of business all over the world.

Otherwise – you can’t realistically offer support for your cool designs. That would be a shame.

Is there a support site for this theme, as it appears comments on this site are rarely addressed? Would like to know before purchasing theme.

This theme is buggy. First off, the sample data doesn’t finish uploading – the page just keeps spinning in my browser for hours. I assumed after a certain point all the content has been uploaded, but I have no way of being sure.

Second, I can’t switch between any tabs or click and buttons on the post pages. For example, clicking the ‘Add Media’ button does nothing, I cannot switch between HTML/Text view, I can’t switch between the category tabs, nor can I add product attributes. I’ve tried on multiple browsers, and when switching to another theme everything works.

Another user on the support forums has the same issue, and it was posted 2 weeks ago with no response. Really regret buying this broken theme now.
