How do i change the icons in the menu (i only know how to remove them) Also, how can i add another “menu” in the gallery (works) called “video” when i try i get an error and all the pictures disaper ;(

I can help you change the icons, send me an email with FTP and what you want.

For the works (gallery), you need to add a category to the work item and then publish it. Then it will show a new heading with all the works checked with that category. To upload a photo to the work item, use the “Set featured image” feature to the bottom right of the post edit page.

Does that make sense? If not, include questions in your email.

I know you said that video can be imbedded in the gallery, but how? PrettyPhoto does not support mp4, ogg, or webm.

You can change the default color to whatever you want by editing the “Main Color” option in “Theme Options > General”.

You need to open settings.js and insert the links to your image(s) – starting on line 84:

Make sure each image is separate by a comma and the last one without a comma at the end.

1. Is there a quick way to start with all the ‘Works’ accordions closed (i.e. the top one as well as those below)..?

1. Yes, you need to open the “settings.js” file and locate this code:

To make all the tabs closed by default, you need to add this to the settings:

active: false,

2. Videos are not currently supported in version 1.2. However, it only took me 10 minutes to submit this update to ThemeForest for them to review and approve. :) With that said, you can download the two new files for update 1.3 before it is released: http://cl.ly/O5A4

Lightning response – thanks :-) Got it up and running with both video & sound cloud – without adding the update, mainly as I removed the class so the vid/sound cloud module spreads right across the box:

I noted the following:
* VCF card seems to not save, (at least, not in Safari) just open in the same window as text.
* Website/Social links also open same window: with ‘_blank’ attribute.
* On iPad when clicking ‘back’ button this reveals black screen.
* Email contact form is not sending (tried two email addresses).
* IE8 doesn’t show rounded corner styles and is very jerky/slow.


I’m wondering if any of my (slight) mods may be causing these, or are they just little glitches…?

  • Noticed I’m getting an error message in IE8 (V 8.0.6001.18702 on Windows XP, run within Parallels on a Mac – just to keep it simple!!!) – in fact it crashes Windows XP every time…

  • On an iPad/iPhone the scroll is not smooth, and often drags the background picture along with it.


Any clues, or an idea of fixes for these?

I do see the issue with the iPhone and iPad, but only on the initial scroll. After that, it works fine.

I’m not able to replicate the IE8 issue.

Hi Shorti,

Just this IE alert still persisting, and making it throw the same error (showing in the visual above). Any chance of a slight code ‘mod’ just to avoid this showing? It makes it hard to have it up as a preview site when it shows an error on the site itself! It works fine (apart from shadowing, which disappears – presumably an IE8 nasty), but doesn’t look nice on a portfolio site..!

This is really strange, I’m not able to see the problem in IE8. :( How did that error window popup?

It is a yellow warning triangle in the status bar (saying ‘error on page’), and then you can click it for more info, which produces the pop up window…

Hello,

How to set the email form in Theme. I set the field $to = “xxx@xxx.com”; in the contact.php file with my personal email adress, but after tests, I still can not receive emails from the theme email form.

Maybe I need to set some others settings or some special setting in my hostator account.

Please, can you help me and bring me your experience
