Sites on the template Sellya biglietti.ru and mrlipov.ru stopped working in Google Chrome. What is the reason?
Are your site is ok and updated. I saw your site is non ssl but all resource comes from ssl that is why it break. Is your any plugin or settings force the site in ssl mode.
Why it happened, because I did not change any settings? What specifically needs to be done to rectify the situation?
May be you have used any kind of plugin which may cause issue , if they are hacked. Are you sure that you are using wordpress update version. theme update version and also woocommerce update and not use any third party plugin which is not secure.

We no longer maintaining update of sellya. It is so old theme . You can use oxy if you like same kind of design.
Good evening, i have some trouble setting up the homepage with featured product. I use the woocommerce shortcode recent_products per_page=”12” columns=”4”] but the product dont show as nice and ‘centerd’ as it looks in the preview. Ive tried everything but nothing works. Any idea whats the problem?
May be you purchase recently. There was one div wrapper need to put before shortcode to look nice. Sellya was out to much old theme, that is why we recommended all to use our oxy.

Hello, im experience the same problem as sjteef – outdated woocommerce templates. The biggest problem this causes is not being able to pick a variation from the drop down menu. Any news on when you’ll update them? If i use the original woocommerce templates all sorts of problem show up.

Theme is advertised as “Short code based home page build” however the documentation has no list of shortcodes to actually design the homepage nor does it give any indication on how to build the homepage to look like the demo. Would it be possible to get a list of shortcodes which can be used on the homepage. Thank you

Right now it is not possible to list all short code.because this theme support is stop lots of month ago.
Even if the support stopped you should still have a list of shortcodes than can be used unless there are no shortcodes. Also if you stopped support then why do you still sell the theme?
We have list all short code in our sample data and when you click the short code icon from editor you will got those which you need.

Are you want to show 4 product in latest area ? if so you need to edit the home template which you use and change the variable to show only 4 product

Yes there is no option in sellya to reduce the home product if you build that using home page template.

i’m having troubles installing this theme. I downloaded the main zip file and when I try to install it into wordpress it never progresses and sometimes even comes up with a failure error.

No Sellya is not compatible. You can use Oxy theme which is compatible in 2.5.0.

So basically what you are saying is that you are no longer going to support a theme that people paid for and that if they want a supported them then they need to move to Oxy? Are you going to offer this free or at a discount to those of us that purchased Sellya? Seems messed up that you stop the support so soon. Should support it for at least 5 years.

Day by day technology is moving and it is not cost effective for us to give support for a 2.5 years old theme which is developed with old technology.
Stopping support/updates on a theme with almost 900 sales is complete bullcrap! The reason “Not cost effective” & “old technology”. That’s the whole point of maintaining and updating, otherwise your “technology” will always be obsolete.
Curious what the plan is with Oxy.
Are you going to stop support for that aswell next year?
And how about your future themes? You cannot expect people buying a theme and after a while you stop updating it because it’s obsolete. That’s not very cost efficient for your customer, is it? The need to rebuild a website every 2.5 years.
If you want to be cost effective you going to make people love your company, build better products and you will sell more.
Hello, Thank you for your comment. The reason we have stop sellya because it was developed more than 2.5 years.
At the time when we developed sellya , we are not so expert like now a days. Sellya was some limitation which was overcome in oxy. And we continue improve oxy. It was easy to managed a good and organized theme.
1. In sellya you are not able to customize the skin top to bottom , there are redefine skin which customization is not easy like oxy.
2. In sellya all pages are template basis, so you are not able to configure how many product you like to show , you need to edit the template file. Where oxy you can customize the product to show top to bottom. It was developed short code basis and even work visual composer.
3. Sellya have css performance issue , oxy have not issue on that. It is more optimize in performance.
There are bunch of reason we have we have stop sellya development , where oxy have no issue for customer . And it is better than any woocommerce theme.
That is why we recommended our customer who use sellya to use oxy . And we have no plane to stop its development. Day by day we update that and improve it. That is why oxy is more popular than sellya.
Hope you understand we like to help our customer to use a more flexible and better optimized theme. We have implement sellya’s theme experience in oxy.
From oxy theme our development skill is much matured and good.
If you look in Prestashop they are full change there architecture in 1.7 in symphony . Where 1.6 customer will not able update there shop , module and theme. They have done this because for a secure and stable version of eCommerce.

Even though OXY IS a very good theme since i’m using that aswell, how hard would it be to make Sellya on OXY’s platform?
You already have the layout, some functions will be deprecated and some functions will be added.
This way i have to not only spend another $ 70 for yet ánother OXY license it probably will take a couple of hours aswell to get that old SELLYA up and running with the OXY theme.
The reason we use ready-made templates is that some of the customers don’t have the budget to let us build a fully custom Wordpress theme, and $70 dollars and a couple of hours isn’t the biggest ammount but it is money we have to spend again. I just think 2.5 years is a bit too short to stop support on a product. But that’s just my opinion.
May be take some time. But in the long run it will better to use oxy. Because sellya theme admin panel was slow and oxy is much faster.

You may not notice that we have stop update of sellya from last year. We have encourage our customer to move in oxy which is more optimized and better perfromance than sellya and more flexible and will maintain long time update.

Though you didn´t answer my question directly I understand that you mean: in order for me to solve the problem I am facing with Sellya I should spend more money and buy Oxy.
This is not a reasonable solution for those of us who have already purchased Sellya. In fact you should at least keep Sellya updated with the new requirements of the new version of Wordpress taking into account that almost 900 people already bought this theme. If I were you I would put my client first and I would release an update to just make it work with the new versions of Wordpress (no new features are needed here).
You should understand that some of our clients are not ready to spend more money on buying your theme twice. Worst of all, switching to another theme means a waste of time to set it up. And as a professional I would no ask my clients to pay me for the time spent in doing something that was already done two years ago.
For me this is a lack of professionalism and I would definitely switch to another theme developer to buy themes for my clientes. I have purchased many themes in here and some of them are more than 5 years old and they still receive the necessary updates just because the team behind its developement is professional and take seriously their job.
I wouldn´t accept any further excuses because I am really DISAPPOINTED with your policy in Themeforest and I am gonna open a ticket to complain and explain this issue to the folks of Themeforest.
