I purchased this for MailChimp and I can’t seem to figure out how to upload it to work in Mail Chimp. It uploads as a flat file and I can’t edit the articles or anything. Can anyone tell me how to use this in MailChimp?

Hi munecaeyes,

First of all thanks for purchasing my templates.

Be sure to use correct files for MailChimp – name of template starts with “MailChimp” (in download package you have pure HTML and Camapaign Monitor files also but they will not work in MC).

When you import file into MailChimp you can edit template only in campaign mode (each template have variable content modules which are editable only in campaign mode).

In download package you can find folder named “documentation – uploading to mailchimp” with detailed instructions on how to upload custom templates and create campaign. Just follow instructions from that documentation file and everything will work fine.

If you have any other questions or need help using templates please contact me on my mail.

Thanks once again for purchasing my files!

Thank you for your reply! I finally did figure it out. :) I’m very new to mailchimp. I LOVE the template. Thank you for including the .psd files too. Made it easy to change the colors to match my logo.

Hey, Great template! What is the font you have used in the Sensio Logo? Cheers

Hi bizzallmedia,

Thanks for purchasing my templates. Glad you like it. Can’t tell you right now which font I’ve used since I’m on vacation and don’t have all files with me…

Default-user

Okay, please let me know when you get back from vacation… enjoy! On another note…. how can I remove the icon buttons on the top and bottom, managed to change one that I needed but when I hit remove on the others they won’t go…..

skah

Hi, I assume that you use templates in MailChimp… correct me if I’m wrong… Since each template prepared for use in MailChimp contains variable content (variants), templates must be edited in Campaign mode… You can replace images and texts in Layout edit mode, but to delete/remove them is possible only when template is in Campaign mode…

You can also delete icons trough code editor… find in header navigation module (in all MC templates starts on line 59) or footer module (last module in templates) code that starts with comment ”Social icon link goes here”... then delete that line, and first line above and below that line (those lines are opening and closing TD tags)... If you need assistance with that please send me an e-mail and I’ll be glad to help you…

Thanks for the detailed reply… Using Mailchimp Managed to remove it through the code editor.

But overall weird functionality, even before… if I remove the during the campaign editor the block becomes crazy big.

Another weird thing I am not getting round to is that I want to have the 2 orange boxes(left & right)(as I chose organge template) at the top, and a few of the Product Features with the image @ 276px, all of the possible sizes are visible through my templates viewer. When I create a campaign and select the template there is only 1 orange box and 1 product feature with 130px image and only can add additional ones with the same size, same as I can only add additional orange boxes with the image on the left…. any suggestions.

Forget that last part of the comment, already figured it out, my bad.

skah

I’m glad you’ve figured it out. No problem.

Dont’ worry if box became “crazy big”, you can check your template with “Open popup preview” and everything will be alright… This is just a visual problem of editor since it ads layer with lots of text that will help you to insert deleted images back…

Thnx once again for purchasing my templates! If you have any other question please send me an e-mail via e-mail form from my profile page…

Hello, I am really new at this, I bought 17000 emails, a friend of mine helped me to do a template I am using simplerses to send them, and when I did it came back with lots of bouncers. I know it depends in a lot of little details, the template I sent was pretty basic, and did not have some tools to prevent the bouncer rate… my question is, can I buy a template to just copy paste and be able to edit it ? ... please help ..

Hi there – I’ve got a font size issue with your templates. Basically I want the font size to appear normally on iPhones and other small devices. At the moment the font is tiny. On other templates I have the iPhone just makes the font bigger automatically – it’s not tightly controlled. How can I adjust your templates to mimic this behaviour?

skah

Hi jamesmcd. First of all thank you for purchasing my templates.

In <head> tag at beginning of each template you will find CSS with default values for “body” element… at the end of style values for “body” you can see property “-webkit-text-size-adjust: none;”... you can replace “none” value with “auto” or some percentage value… if you set value to “auto”, the text size will be automatically adjusted for Safari on iPhone…

You can also change size of all content texts with batch-rename actions in some text editor… just replace all inline font values which are set to 12px (font-size: 12px;) with desired value…

Hope this would help… If you need more help please contact me via e-mail form on my profile page…

Thnx once again!

jamesmcd

Hi there – thanks for the info. Still having some issues. Basically, the webkit declaration only works if I use a percentage value (auto does nothing), and it also increases the line-height which doesn’t look good. The other issue is that even though the body text is font-size: 12px, it “looks” more like 6-7px when the template is rendered on an iPhone. It’s like it’s being squashed. It seems to work ok if I remove all of your inline CSS on the body and use @media tags with classes, however I don’t really want to do it like this as I prefer your code, i.e. inline CSS because Gmail on Android removes all header CSS. Any other ideas for getting the body text on the iPhone readable?

skah

Hi jamesmcd, can you please send me images of results that you get on your iPhone? Please contact me via e-mail form on my profile page…

Hi there. Very nice template. Any chance of you updating this to be responsive? Thanks.

skah

Hi proofbklyn, first of all thank you for purchasing my templates. Well, I have plans to convert all my old templates to be responsive, but since this is a huge job can’t tell you when this will be.
