Hi this is a great looking theme and looks perfect for what i would need, does the download include the ‘COLOUR GRID !’ section? and if it does can you remove it or do you need it for the theme to function correctly because i wouldn’t want it on my site.

Nice template and definitely a good job on the css, however it needs more work.
For example: when I view the source code I see that “infinitygrid” on the homepage contains like 24 (if I counted right) images, while when you view the page it only shows 3 rows x 4 images in Firefox (=12) or 3 rows x 5 images (last row has only 2, so the total still amounts to 12) if using Safari web browser. When you view it on the iphone / ipad, it gets even worse, only shows 3 rows x 3 images (=9).
Any idea how to fix this? Really annoying.
Other than that, I’m no sure why it’s called the infinitygrid, is it supposed to scroll or something? Any help would be appreciated.

It’s meant to do exactly that, the collage always keeps 3 rows to not expand into ridiculus height, and the number of images shown depends on screen size. Say, if you have full HD screen (1920px), displayed images will be 1-18, so 3 rows of 6 images (~320px each), if you have 2560px display, you will see images 1-24, 3 rows of 8 images (1920+2×320=2560).
The collage is there to display your “latest events”, and it always shows the newest 9 items, then shows more if the user has screen estate for it.
It’s not resource hog by the way, the browser doesn’t “ask” the server for images that are not going to be displayed.
It’s all thought out pretty well

I forgot to mention, if I add more rows of images on the home page, it still shows only 3 rows? Is there any way to make all images visible regardless of browser i’m using etc. and make sure that ALWAYS only 3 or 4 images per row are displayed (depending on what I decide)?
Yes, always 3 rows (or other amount, it’s definable). It seems to defeat the purpose however, to set it “in stone” and display only 3-4 images per row, it would pretty much make the whole thing just yet another 960px slider and it’s what I was trying to avoid. But it sure is doable and I can add such a feature if you would like to use it.

Thanks for your response. I now understand your idea of showing only the ‘latest’ items in the grid. However, that doesn’t work for me. I always want to be able to see all the items. If you could point me in the right direction and tell me where to modify that I’d really appreciate it. Thanks

possibly 20 or more. actually, i’m looking for a mod that will allow me to display 4 rows of images, to see all images one would have to use arrows to scroll like on the following website: http://lifeandtimes.com/#technology i understand though it’s not easy to do and you may not have time to do it, but it would look super nice (along with the ability to add videos).

so thanks for the tip. I’ve been thinking about adding some sort of scrollbar below collage, but that was too jquery animation heavy and would show some major framerate loss on slower browsers/devices. The one you linked is definitely better in that case.

The reason why I’m asking for ability to show more rows than 3 is because I’m trying to make this template work on Iphone and Ipad. Right now if you open it on the Iphone it only shows 2 images per row, so only 6 images are visible. That’s one advantage of having a standard 960px grid. All I’m looking for is a way to make it a standard 960 grid with a set number of images per row, let’s say 4 per row and a set number of rows. Can you help? Thanks,

Any plans to make the width of the site more responsive? I noticed the menu will change but content does not seem to be responsive.
Maybe I am missing something? I would purchase if it was fully responsive.

yes, the theme will be updated to make it more responsive, mainly for phone users. This update will come along with wordpress version, and then HTML version will follow. ETA is around 2months atm.

1) – copy/paste the embedd from google maps: https://maps.google.com/ you find your location, then click the chain button http://prntscr.com/cu5i4, set the size and that’s it
2) – you don’t, the newsletter script saves all user mails to csv file (comma separated values). It’s much easier this way to then just grab the mails from file, and send your newsletters out
There is more info in the help file, make sure you read it.
