Hi, I appreciate how themeforest structures its site; it shows a lot of faith to let potential customers see the unvarnished thoughts of those who already purchased the products.
I am considering Serpent as a platform to engage Las Vegas visitors and, I hope, create a community that can communicate and connect via social media and learn what’s really going on in Sin City. Would Serpent be a good choice for that? Are there other themeforest themes I should consider? Thanks for the consideration.

I’m using Serpent for a client. In the SOCIAL NETWORK SETTINGS screen, can I use a facebook PAGE for the Facebook profile ID? I don’t want to use a personal facebook profile, I’d like to use my page instead.

Yes, insert in the “Facebook profile ID” field the ID or the name of the page you need (just the name, without http://facebook.com/ )
Hello I just bought Serpent, one small issue though When I go to Slideshow>Add New and click <<Choose File Button>> I get the error below on the pop up screen instead of an uploader…

Strangely, we don’t see these issues, in 3.4.1 and 3.4.2. Are you sure it’s related to the newest WP version? Could there be something else? Plugins, settings, configurations.

Hi. For that purpose there is the Image post type, text is for standard textual posts.

Hello there I reasently bought this theme, so far I’m quite happy with it however I am having trouble with the slideshow image. I cant seem to get it to appear with it leaving a grey gap which looks terrible, it continues to appear there when I resize the browser window, any advice?

Also in addition to my post above, I am unable to get the side bar to appear on pages other than the home page – it has been set to appear according to the serpent control panel, is the a solution?

But this will affect only the pages that will be created after the setting was saved, it won’t change the old pages. To changed the existing pages, you have to edit each page http://i.imgur.com/jKLVg.png
Hi, I purchased this theme a few days ago and for the most part it’s wonderful. However, there are two big problems with the post grid not working and the logo not being responsive. Hi. For the analytics issue, make sure use the latest version, there was an issue with it not showing in the page (HTML) source. What issues are you experiencing with the Facebook connect?
Thanks for answering, not what is wrong with the connection with Analitycs simply failed to display the results. (I know my code Analitycs shown just below the footer of the page).
And with facebook, not published the likes of the post. (I think it’s a problem with my app on fb, but do not know)
Also I have problems with users logging in via Facebook

Unfortunately, the site appears to be down. Make sure to check if App ID and Secret Key in theme settings are correct, insert your URL in the facebook debugger, since sometimes it take some time till it will parse the page, refresh the thumbnails, just give it a shot. In case you have plugins, check check if there is no interference with the theme.
Can you display a 300×250 ad in the right sidebar for this theme? It doesn’t look wide enough.
Hi. By default, no, you need to stretch it a little to make an ad to fit in the sidebar.
Seems tricky to find where I can find css to change the sizes of H1, H2, H3, etc.. Where can you find it? Why make it so difficult to change? It is essential to be able to change easily in a css. Can anyone describe how to do?
It depends on which part of the theme is located, you can add your own css in theme settings -> Custom CSS , to avoid searching the css files of the theme.

I have been working on styling the theme in my style. When i came to the post-page, the featured image of the post is to big for the page. I have been searching in the style.css and other css and php files, but I can not find where to change it. Can you help me please?

The css files are included in css/autoinclude/ , but you can use the Custom CSS feature to avoid editing the files. Also,, here is an related topic http://cosmothemes.com/forums/topic/4471

livefastdiefun21 Dont upload the whole zip file as you downloaded. Unzipped and u´ll find a folder named “serpent” which one you will have to upload to wp-content/themes.

1)by default you can’t change the registration form, maybe by using a plugin you’ll be able to achieve that.
2)you can create custom menu, that means that you can have categories in the submenu.
3)you can use a standard text widget to add banners.
